Dare Escape and Learn the Price to Be Paid

After I pulled away I looked over at Mr. Sanders. I could tell he was pissed at me, i could also tell that he was going to make me pay for it later. "I think you should get back to practice. Mr. Sanders wont be pleased if i keep distracting you. Especially since the big game is tonight." i said. "You'll be coming to watch right?" he asked me. "Of course I will babe" I said softly. I smiled and walked away from him and toward Mr. Sanders room which I knew he was going to want me in. I sighed quietly and walked around the room as I waited for him. "Paige" I heard him say with a stern tone from behind me. I slowly turned to look at him. "Yes Mr. Sanders?" I asked quietly, looking to the ground.

Matt
"I thought you knew better than this," I said, folding my arms across my chest as I looked down at her. "I specifically told you to stay away from him, did I not?" I let out a breath and shook my head. I thought for a minute about punishing her for this, but I didn't have the time to now, and I knew I wouldn't be able to later either. "This is your last warning."

Paige
I looked up at him with sad eyes. "I'll leave him alone after the big game..I can't juat break up with hi. When he needs me the most. If i do that now we'll lose because he wont be able to focus. Just give me one more day?" I begged him. "Please?"

Matt
I looked her over, unsure of whether I could trust her or not. "How do I know if I can trust you?" I questioned, raising an eyebrow. I wanted to reach out and touch her, run my fingers through her hair, stroke her cheek, touch her hips, pull her against my chest. But I knew I couldn't do that out here in the open. I had to suppress my urges until I had her alone again, which would hopefully be after school today.

Paige
Because I know what you'll do to me if I dont keep my word or listen to you" I said softly. "And what's that princess?" He asked me. "Whatever you deem necessary for my actions' i said before looking up at him. "H-how long are we..how long are we going to do this?'" i asked quietly.

Paige
I looked up at him. "I think i have a pretty good idea" I whispered quietly before looking down at the ground. "Can I go now?" I asked quietly as I continued to look down at the ground. This man..he scared me. I didnt want to be with him. I didnt love him. I feared him. Thank god it was my senior year. This would be the last year I would have to deal with him. I could go to college and I wouldnt ever have to deal with him ever again.

Matt
I glanced around before looking back at her and nodding my head. "You can go," he said. "But I want to see you after school today. I have something for you. It's a surprise." I gave her a small, sincere smile before I turned and went back to coaching my boys.

Paige
whe he told me he had a surprise it made me panic. I had no idea what he meant by surprise, and I hightly doubted that I would like it. I walked away from the football feild before walking toward the school. Maybe I could snoop around his room to see what it was. I quickly walked into the building, checking behind me to make sure he wasnt following me, i opened up the door to his room before going over to his desk to try and find what it was.

I checked my watch for the time, noticing it was getting pretty close to first bell, so I let the boys go and headed back to my classroom. I raised an eyebrow when I saw the door open, wondering if the janitor was in there or if a student had gotten to class early. I walked into the room, narrowing my eyes slightly when I saw Paige going through my desk. "And just what do you think you're doing?" I hissed.

Paige
I let out a loud shriek of surprise, quickly slamming the desk drawer shut. "I-I'm sorry Matt" I said quickly as I got out of his chair and backed away from his desk. "I-I just"I stuttered as he stared at me, the anger shown on his face terrified me. "I, just um...I just wanted to know what the surprise was" I said softly. "I'm very impatient, i was never good at waiting to see what someone got me. I-I'm sorry I never should have gone through your desk. Please don't be mad at me, I was just curious" I said while trying not to cry because of the thoughts that were popping into my head.

Matt
I shut the door behind myself and walked over to her, staring down at her for a minute before letting out a long sigh. "A surprise is meant to be a surprise, Paige," I said, sitting down in my desk chair and grabbing her wrists. I pulled her down into my lap and smiled at her. "You can wait a few hours, can't you? You can come by right after school, and I'll give it to you then."

I looked at him.with a slight pouty face. Despite the fact that i wasnt trying to be adorable I knew I was. "I guess I can wait' I mumbled quietly, looking into his hazel eyes. "Can I atleast have a hint?" I asked begging him with my puppy dog eyes which usually got me what i wanted "Pretty please Matt" I begged

I looked at her, studying her closely. "I guess so," I said. "It's a gift. A present. Something special I got for you." I smiled up at her, reaching up and running my fingers through her hair. "To show my appreciation. Because I don't think you realize just how much I care about you."
