Dare Escape and Learn the Price to Be Paid

I let out a soft sigh and looked at him. "That's a horrible hint" I pouted as I looked away from him, to try and look sad. God having to wait all day to find out what he got me was going to kill me. I looked at him. "Please tell me" I whined at him. "I don't like surprises" I looked into his bright hazel eyes, hoping that he would answer me, but I had a feeling he would say no. Before I even had the chance to get an answer out of him, I heard the first bell ring, causing me to shoot up off of his lap and walk over to my desk.

Matt
I chuckled as I watched her jump up. She would just have to wait until the end of the day, wouldn't she? She would like it though, I was sure of it. I stood up and watched students file in as I started writing notes on the board for them to copy. I kind of wanted to have a lazy, relaxing day, so I was just going to have them copy notes and do an exercise from the textbook.

Paige
I let out a quiet sigh and began to copy down the notes he gave us. I chewed on my lip and began to doodle in the margins of my paper. I in all honesty, didn't really even want this surprise that he said he had for me. Knowing my luck it was going to be something sick and twisted that he liked and thought I would like but in all reality I would never like. That's how it usually goes. I mean, what else would be new? He likes this thing we're doing, yet, I hate it with a burning passion and I wish he would die, but I don't really have a choice. It's either tell him no, and cause Mikeal to lose his career as a quarterback or do as he says and Mikeal go into stardom, and I loved Mike so of course I would do anything to make his dreams come true even if it meant my own agony.

Matt
The day seemed to go on forever, but after school, I caught Paige and led her into my classroom. I shut the door and turned to look at her, smiling slightly. I walked over to my desk and pulled out the little velvet box, opening it for her, inside, a silver chain bracelet with a few charms hanging from it. "I got you this," I said. "I thought you would like it."

Paige
I was shocked to say the least. I wasn't expecting to see that as my present. In all honesty, I loved it, I hated the man that bought it, but I loved it. I looked up at him, a smile on my face. "I love it Matt" I whispered quietly " Thank you" I gave him a hug, The bracelet looked super expensive so the lease I could do was tell him thank you and give him a hug. I gently reached my arm out so he could put the bracelet on it and when it was latched I pulled away. "I-If we win the big game tonight should I expect a private celebration?" I asked quietly, looking up into his hazel eyes. I hoped to god he would say no, but knowing him, he probably would say yes, and make me go home with him. I don't think I would be able to handle it if he said yes. I don't think I would be ready to venture into this monster's home.

I smiled, watching her and nodding my head. "Yeah, if you want," I said, reaching down and gently resting my hands on her waist. I figured being violent with her is the least easiest way to get her to want to be with me. I had to be smart about this. I gently pulled her close and leaned down, pressing my lips to hers in a gentle kiss. "I can give you a ride home after the game. I have to stay late anyways, so it's not like anybody will see us."

I looked away. "I don't know if that would be a good idea" I said softly " If we win Mike will want to go out and celebrate with me..." I said quietly, if I stay to ride home with you, he'll stay with me." I looked up at him and chewed on my lip. "It's up to you on what you want to do...After all you are the one who is in control of...whatever this is" I said quietly. I then looked up at the clock "but I do have to be at work tomorrow by ten..." I said quietly before looking back into his hazel eyes.

Matt
I frowned, knowing she was probably right. "Fine," I sighed. I reached up and ran my fingers though her hair. I leaned down, pressing my lips gently to hers. "We'll find plans for some other time, then." I pulled away from her and gathered my things together, needing to go home and change before I met with the team before the big game.

Paige
I looked up at him. "you could always stop by my place if you really wanna do something after the game..I'll just have to tell Mike that I'm not feeling good or something." I said softly, looking away, I clearly wasn't happy with Matt, and I bet he didn't even know it. I honestly hoped that he decided to not do anything tonight and that I would just get to be by myself tonight.

Matt
"I don't think that's a good idea," I said, shaking my head. "We can arrange something for some other time." I smiled softly at her and leaned forward, pecking her lips. "I'll see you soon, Paige." I looked down at the bracelet on her wrist and then back up at her. "I really hope you love it."Ie smiled at her before leaving the classroom.

I stood there for atleast ten minutes after he left, I had to get to my house and get ready for the game tonight, I also had to go to work afterwards. I chewed on my lip before walking out of the room and toward the front doors. I had a feeling that this thing with Matt was going to last for quiet a long time, and that there was a good possibility that I would end up marrying him, even though I never truly loved him. I let out a soft sigh and got in my car so that I could go home and get into my uniform so that I could cheer them on from the sidelines.

I went home and grabbed something quick to eat before changing and going back to the school, starting practice with the boys before the game. All I could think about was Paige, but I tried as hard as I could to focus on the practice. The boys had to win this game. It was a big one.

I let out a soft sigh before slipping into my cheerleading uniform. I got back in my car and began to drive down the road back toward the school where Matt and Mike was. I let out a nervous sigh before pulling into the school parking lot.

[I am so sorry that I havent really been replying to the thread, I've been going through some really bad depression lately and this is the first day where i've actually felt kinda decent.]

I sat in my office in the boy's locker room, briefly checking my e-mails while the boys got ready for the game. It was hard to get Paige off my mind, but I had to try and focus on the game. I cleared my throat and shut the computer off before I walked into the locker room, calling the boys in for a group talk. I gave them a bit of a pep talk before I walked out, waiting for them to finish getting ready.
