Tough Times

Gabby came home late that night and staggered towards the door. She managed to unlock the front door then stumbled inside. Gabby bit her bottom lip lightly as she shut the door quietly. Gabby made her way to the stairs and fell. She sighed as she got back to her feet and made her way to her room. Gabby opened her bedroom door, stepping inside. She sat on her bed and started to take off her shoes.

Zacky looked at her, "I'm not mad at you. Why would i be mad at you?" He asked as he ran his fingers through her hair. He was glad that he had her as a sister. She seemed to always be worried about him.

Matt laid in bed staring up at the ceiling, he knew that he probably should have been asleep by now, but he just couldn't close his eyes and dose off. His mind was full and he didn't even know what about. It was too hard for him to sort out his thoughts.

Skylar nibbled on her lip, before shrugging. "I just didn't want you to." She cut herself off, motioning to him. She didn't want to finish her sentence. She knew that her mind was filled with him and that she did truly want him, no matter how wrong it was. But voicing she didn't would only point out her lying. And he could always see through her lies.

Gabby smirked as she walked towards Matt's bedroom. She knocked softly then opened the door. "Matt." She whispered. She crawled onto his bed and poked him, "Matt are you awake?" She whispered, giggling slightly. "Will you make me pizza?" She whispered as she poked him again. He did tend to baby her in her drunken states so she always went to him.

Zacky shook his head, "I would never be mad at you." He said as he stepped back from her. "Why don't you try and get some sleep?" He suggested. He knew that his sister had more than normal feelings for him. She had told him before, but he didn't want to tell her it was wrong.

Matt rolled over staring up at his sister, frowning disappointingly. Knowing she'd snuck out, sighing he pulled himself up out of his bed. Knowing there was nothing he could do about it now. He motion for her to leave his room. He slowly trailed after her, as they headed to the kitchen.

Skylar frowned, she wasn't tired anymore. And being wide awake with him alone in the night, was exciting. It wasn't unusual for it to happen, but this time both of them were coherent. Sighing she knew there was no point in arguing, laying back down. She rested on her side, facing away from him. Right now she was in a danger zone, and it would be best not even to look at him.

Gabby smiled, "Yay!" She said in a hushed voice. She managed to get downstairs with him. Gabby hovered over Matt as he put the pizza in the over. She looked up at him as they waited. "This takes so long." She whispered as she stumbled back slightly. She giggled as she caught herself. Gabby moved over to him and wrapped her arms around her brother's waist. She huffed as she rested her head on his chest.

Zacky watched her for a moment, "I will be back."He whispered to her. He stepped out of the bedroom and sighed. He made his way to the kitchen and glanced around. Zacky made himself a drink and drank it quickly. He made sure the brush his teeth before returning to his sister. He knew she would be mad that he was drinking. Though he didnt go over board like his father. He shut her door then climbed into bed with her. "Goodnight." EH whispered as he put his arm around her.

Matt rubbed Gabby's back lightly as they waited for the pizza. He rolled his eyes at her remark about it taking too long. "What do you expect it's frozen." He chuckled, he was still surprised that she still hadn't learned how to cook a pizza herself yet. But then again he was happy that she didn't try to make it herself and burn down the house.

Skylar frowned hearing him exit the room. She knew where he was going, she wasn't stupid. It was his way of coping. But she still didn't like it. She just hoped that it didn't get as bad as her fathers. Sighing she closed her eyes, hoping sleep would consume her, and fast. Spending time with him was killing her. He didn't return her affections, and it hurt. No matter how wrong it was. But she couldn't bring herself to sleep alone, knowing her father could appear at any time.

Gabby looked at him, squinting her eyes at him, "Use your super powers." She said, giggling. She stepped back from him and leaned against the counter. Gabby smiled as she ran her fingers through her hair. Gabby looked at the oven and sighed as she sat down on the floor. She looked up at Matt and watched him carefully.

Zacky slept silently and woke up the next morning. He groaned as he got out of the bed and stared down at the floor. He rubbed the back of his neck as he tried to wake himself up. Zacky looked back at Skylar to see if she was still asleep. He knew that his dad would be gone by now.

Matt let out a laugh, "yeah that me." He rolled his eyes. "And what super power do I have?" He questioned her as he watched her drop to the ground. "Oo heat ray?" He teased, he knew in her drunken state she'd find something but it would be off the wall, and wouldn't help aid him in cooking a pizza faster.

Skylar felt the bed move, but made no effort to move. She'd been awake for a short while, but hadn't wanted to get up just yet. Her bed was a safe haven, that was only when Zack was present. It was hard for her to sleep if he wasn't beside her. On nights he would sleep in his room, she'd sneak in and curl up in the floor and sleep. She knew he didn't like her in his room, and crawling into his bed irritated him. But it was something she didn't understand.

Gabby looked at him and laughed softly. "You'd have like X-ray vision or some shit." She said. She looked in the oven window, "Ugh make it go faster!!!!!" She yelled. Gabby held her hands out to her brother, "Help me up big brother." She said.

Zacky walked down to the kitchen and started to make breakfast. He knew that his sister would be hungry when she got up. He knew he would always be taking care of her at this rate. Though he didn't mind.

Matt scoffed, "what good would x-ray vision do me, if I'm stuck here with you." He teased her, before laughing. Then looking into the oven window, noticing the pizza was raising. He knew that the pizza would take a few more minutes. "Give it a few." He told her.

Skylar felt Zack leave, she waited until the door closed before she shifted on the bed. Looking around her room, she sat up before deciding to take a shower. Knowing Zack would be in the kitchen. Grabbing some relaxing clothes she took off towards the shower. Stepping from the shower she slowly started to dress.

Gabby pouted, "Yes because i'm soooo awful." She said as she got up slowly. She leaned against the counter and groaned. "I'm so hungry." She said. She smiled when he finally took the pizza out. "Yes!" She exclaimed. She got herself a slice then sat at the kitchen table and started to eat it.

Zacky finished his breakfast and put a plate on the table for Skylar. He was going out with the guys tonight so he was pretty excited. He needed to get out of the house. He didn't know how Skylar would take that news though. She hated to be alone with his dad. He looked at her when she walked in, "Um...Skylar i got something to tell you."He said as he sat down with her. "I'm going out with the guys tonight."He said.

Matt chuckled before grabbing himself a slice also. "Yeah, you're wonderful." He said sarcastically. He enjoyed his sisters company, he just like to have guy time also. Smiling as he ate his pizza he decided to say fuck it, and ask her any whats been bugging him. "The guys and I are going to be hanging out here tonight." He informed her. "Mom's going be at her boyfriends." He said, knowing for a while she had one just didn't want her kids to know. "So I need you to do me a favor, and get gone." He teased her, but he was being honest. He didn't want her around when he and his friends partied.

Skylar froze hearing him, turning she stare at him. Unsure of what to say she just turned back to her food. Staring down at her plate she stared thinking over every body she could go and stay with. "Oh okay." She told him, knowing there was nothing she could say that would change his mind. Nibbling on her lip she slipped from her seat, before taking off back up the stairs to her room. Right now she didn't want to even bother with him or any body.

Gabby stared at him for a moment, taking a bite of her pizza, "Fine i guess i can find something to do." She said as she took another bite of her pizza. She finished that slice then grabbed the pizza. "But i'm taking the pizza." She said. She put it in a container then went up to her room. Gabby got ready then walked downstairs and grabbed her stuff. She looked at her brother and Brian, who was now there, when she walked downstairs. Gabby grabbed her food and walked through both of them. "Bye losers." She said as she left

Zacky frowned as she went upstairs to her room. He got ready to leave then knocked on Skylar's door, "Sky i'm leaving now. I love you alright." He said. He sighed as he walked downstairs then went to Matt's house. He wallked, inside not bothering to knock. He never knocked when he went to Matt's house. "Hey guys." he said as he set his beer on the counter. He looked over at Jimmy and shook his head when he heard him asking where Matt's hot little sister was. "You got issues man."He muttered as he opened a beer. He looked at matt, "Ho have you not hit this guy." he said, laughing.

Matt rolled his eyes at his friends simple minds. Granted he would have joined in if they were talking about a girl he would want. But they were talking about his sister. "Simple." Matt told Zack. "I love her but I know that my friends mean it as harmless play, and if any of them would hurt her I'd kill them." He informed him, shrugging it off as if it wasn't important.

Skylar sighed hearing Zacky leaving. Rolling her eyes at his final words. She knew he didn't mean it, if he did then he wouldn't leave her here. Nibbling on her lip she decided to say the hell with it. If Zack could go out and party with the guys, then she'd go out and party. Quickly throwing together some of her sexier clothing. She got dress in a whirlwind, before grabbing a bit of her stashed cash and darting out the door. The last thing she wanted was to get caught by her father, or Zacky. She wasn't sure who'd be madder.

Gabby sighed as she came into the house later that night. She bit her bottom lip lightly when she saw her brother and drunk friends. She shook her head and made her way up to her room. His friends had always annoyed her when they drank.

Zacky laughed later that night as he drank. He sighed as he looked at the time. "Fuck I should get home." He said as he got up. He grabbed his keys, "bye guys." He said as he left. He walked into his house and frowned as he went to his sisters room. He frowned when he saw she wasn't there. He sat on her bed as he waited.

Matt heard some ruckus, and then the sound of keys. He groaned before shifting and rolling over. He wasn't going to wake up anytime soon, and didn't bother with mindless noises.

Skylar giggled as her and some friends walked down the street, they were almost at her house and she didn't want to go home. She knew that it was empty, it was the weekend, her dad was off fucking some hooker while Zack was passed out at a friends. So she had a big empty house awaiting her, and it sucked. But none the less when they arrived at her house, she called her goodbyes and stumbled into the house. There was no reason to be quite, so even though her feet ached and her head was throbbed. She didn't keep it down, as her feet carried her up to her room.

Gabby sighed as she walked downstairs. She shook Matt, "matt come on you have to go to your bed." She said. She didn't want her mom to get upset with them. She helped Matt up and helped him to his room. She pushed him into his bed then threw his blankets over him. "Nighty night Matty." She teased as she kissed his cheek.

Zacky finished his beer and threw the empty can on the floor. He looked up when he saw her, "you left." He slurred. He stood up and walked over to her. Zacky shut the door and looked down at her. Zacky pulled her into a tight hug, "I was worried about you." He said as he kissed along her neck. "My little sister shouldn't go out alone." He whispered as his hand ran up her thigh and under her skirt.

Matt groaned as Gabby bossed him around. He sighed feeling his body drop down onto his bed. It was almost instant the moment his head hit the pillow he was out.

Skylar sucked in air feeling his hands and lips on her body. It was a very sobering moment, but her body was singing. She couldn't even form a sentence to inform him she wasn't alone. Her mind and body melted into his touch. It was almost torture feeling him so close, yet so far away. It was agonizing at how slow things seem to be moving.

Gabby went to her room and laid down. She closed her eyes an fell asleep. Gabby woke up to the sound of someone in the hallway. She walked out the next morning and frowned at te guy that was leaving her moms room. Her mom never brought men home because matt usually wasn't a fan. Gabby frowned when the guy stared at her, "Even her daughter is good looking." The guy said, not seeing matt open his bedroom door. Gabby looked at Matt as she crossed her arms.

Zacky placed his hand on the door to keep it closed as he kissed her deeply. He grabbed her face and pressed her against the door. "You're gorgeous sky." He whispered in her ear. Zacky slipped his hands under her shirt then took it off of her. He smirked as he kissed down her chest.
