Matt groaned stumbling to his door, his head was splitting. Opening the door he notice Gabby standing awe struck in her door way. Before a males voice rang out into the air. Matt's nostrils flare and he seen red. Growling he watched at the guy turned his attention from his sister to him. The guy gulped before quickly turning and practically running down the stairs. Panting Matt felt every fiber of his body screaming at him to go after that fucker. But taking in a few deep breaths he called himself before stepping over to his sister. "You okay?" He question pulling her into his arms. He felt himself calming down more knowing she was safe in his arms.

Skylar watched as his head lowered to her chest. "Zacky." She whispered out, her heart nearly beating out of her chest. She couldn't wrap her head over how this was happening. He was always pushing her away, though she'd never made any moves. Well tonight was her chance, so there was no reason she should hold back. Matt sighed shaking his head, he didn't have the answer for the questions she was asking. Though he could only think the man that left was married and they couldn't go back to his place. Matt smiled back at her, "why don't you grab me the eggs." He told her. He knew she was no good around the stove, but she loved to help him none the less. It was always fun when they cooked together. Though usually she was drunk and he was just humoring her. But today he felt they need time together.

Matt tried to keep the smile from his face, but couldn't help it once her laughter rang out. "That the last time you help me." He told her taking the batter from her. He was tempted to throw some back but then there wouldn't be enough for breakfast. So shaking his head he turned back to cooking.

Gabby smiled, "I thought I was doing well." She said laughing. She frowned when her mom walked in though. Gabby looked down at her feet, biting her bottom lip lightly. She moved away from them and went to her room. She sat on her bed and put her headphones in as she rolled a joint. She opened her window then leaned against the window-seal as she like it. She inhaled, then exhaled slowly.

Matt watched as Gabby exited the room, he knew she wasn't happy with there mother. The man that had been in the house with them could have tried something with Gabby and nobody would have known if Matt hadn't been there. So now he felt that he had to talk to his mother. Turning the stove of he looked at her. "I hope you know your one night stand try getting at Gabby." He glared at her.

Marie glared at him, "Don't you talk to me like that Matthew Charles Sanders!" She snapped at him. "Perhaps if you too weren't so awful your father would still be here!" She yelled at him. "No i make the god damn money to support both of you so shut up and deal with it!" She yelled. She grabbed her purse and walked out, slamming the front door.

Gabby laid on her bed, exhaling the smoke from her lungs. She laughed at herself as she stared up at the ceiling. She was so stoned that she didn't even see the point of going downstairs. She knew her mom would just bring her down.

Zacky closed his eyes and fell asleep, holding onto her. He slept silently throughout the night and woke up around noon. He bit his bottom lip lightly when he remembered everything from last night. He looked at Skylar and suddenly he realized that he didn't feel bad for sleeping with her.

Matt sighed before shaking his head. Picking up the cordless phone in the kitchen, he quickly dialed the familiar yet strange number. He hadn't spoke to his father since he left them a few years back. But one thing Matt knew about his father was, he still cared. He'd seen both his children money, though they'd never see it. He waited while it rang, sighing as it went to voicemail. Leaving one would be better than never getting in contact. "Hey dad, look we need to talk. It's about mom." He sighed. "She's really gone off the deep end." He said. "Just call me back."

Gabby got up and walked to the top of the stairs. She looked down at Matt, "Matty!" She yelled at him, laughing as she sat on the top stair. She rested her cheek against the banister as she stared at him. "HI." She said, giggling. She was glad she head her brother.

Zacky sighed as he sat up and looked at his hands. He couldn't believe they had done that. He got up and started to get dressed. He didn't need his dad to catch him like this. Matt heard his phone go off, sighing he had to go upstairs to get it. Noticing Gabby's stoned form on the floor. "What am I going to do with you?" He sighed, before bending down and lifting her up. Gently tossing her over his shoulder as he finished his trek to his room.

Skylar groaned as her hand reached out, hitting empty sheets. Her eyes fluttered open frowning, looking around her room. Sighing she decided to pull herself from her bed, grabbing some clothes she headed into the bathroom, deciding to wash away last nights events.

Gabby giggled as he put her over his shoulder, "Love me." She said, laughing. Gabby smiled once they got to his room then laid down on his bed when he put her down. She smiled as she stared up at the ceiling. "You are the bestest big brother." She said as she hugged him.

Zacky stared at his phone, needing his friend. He sighed as he called Matt. He heard Gabby in the backround when he answered, "Dude i did something wrong." He muttered. He knew that it wasn't good what he did but it felt so right. "You have to promise not to tell anyone and not judge me." He said.

Matt laughed out answering the phone. "Hey bro I can't talk right now." He told Zack hearing his pleading voice. "Why don't you come over?" He asked his friend, before hearing Gabby's words. "Yeah, I got to go." He laughed out hanging up. Before being engulfed in his sister's embrace. "You are a pest." He laughed at his sister. Pushing her away from him.

Skylar felt secure behind the locked bathroom door. She didn't need any interruptions, quickly stepping into the shower and letting the warm down pour of the water consume her. Sighing she felt her body relax as the water scolded her skin.

Gabby laughed as he pushed her away, "I am not!" She pouted. She laid back on his bed crossing her arms. "Now you're a bully." She said as she rolled onto her stomach and buried her face in the pillows he had. His bed was so comfortable and it always smelled like him. She loved it.

Matt laughed at his sister, before sighing at the sight of Zacky. "Thank god your here." He said before rushing his friend out of his room. "Stay here." He instructed his sister, the last thing he needed was for her to stubble down the stairs and hurt herself. Shaking his head as he closed his door, she seemed content thou. "What did you need to talk about, that's so important?" He questioned, leading Zacky down stairs.

Skylar stepped from the shower. wrapping a towel around her body. Groaning she quickly got dressed, still not being able to rid herself of the event of last night. She hated the fact she woke alone, it left her to ponder over why her brother would even do it if he would regret it. Glaring at her reflection she ran a comb threw her hair.

Gabby pouted when he told her to stay. She laid down and pulled his blankets over herself. She hated that she couldn't here what they said. Gabby looked at her phone and sighed.
