I walked out of the locker room in a simple pair of basketball shorts and a wifebeater. I couldn't help but set my eyes on Paige as she walked out at the same time and damn I don't think I could have even imagined her body looking that good, but it would look a lot better without the clothes. "You brought gym clothes." I said simply as I walked over to her glaring at a few of the usual suspects making sure that they knew that I had seen her first and they all knew from personal experience what happened when they got in my way.

Paige
I smiled lightly. "Yeah, i got my schedule in the mail on saturday so I had time to go buy some clothes" I explained to him. I chewed on my lip and looked into his dark chocolate eyes. "Thanks for actually taking the time to talk to me" I said softly. "I''m not exactly a social butterfly so I don't usually talk to people." I murnured quietly. I listened to what the teacher had to say and when he said to start running laps around the gym I sighed quietly before i started to run.

Landon
I chuckled slightly as I looked down at her. "You don't have to thank me. You seem pretty cool." I said before a began running along side her. I couldn't be to carefully with the guys around here and plus I was pretty sure one of Amber's friends was in this class. They liked to ruin just about anything but they wouldn't say anything with me by her that much I knew. And I wouldn't say they were the best of friends because I'm pretty sure at least one of them tried to hit on me.

Paige
I bit on my lip and sighed. Today was going to be a very long day. I could feel it right now. "Would you uh..would you like to go get a bite to eat after school?" I asked, looking at him. "I can't take too long though because i gotta work tonight, but i have maybe a half an hour to spare." I explained.

Landon
I smiled slightly at her. "Ya I'd like that." I said with a grin. It was going to be a lot easier than I originally thought especially since she didn't know anything about me. And as long as I could make sure no one said anything or if I could make it seem like it was just people who were angry with me and wanted to make something up then hopefully it wouldn't ruin anything. "Where do you work at?" I questioned.

Paige
I sighed softly and looked at the ground. "I had a feeling you were going to ask me that' I murmured quietly."I work at the tilted kilt" I murmured quietly "I hate working there but it's the only place that would give me a job despite my past" I said softly. "I'm not going to work there any longer than what I have to." I said softly

Landon
"It's alright. You work were you can. My dad told me not to picky about the jobs you get. But what kind of pas- Never mind that's none of my business." I said cutting myself off as I continued running though I couldn't help but picture Paige in her uniform and how hot she probably looked in it.

Paige
I sighed quietly as I heard him begin to ask "what kind of past" he cut himself off "it's okay.." I said to him. "I live on my own because of what happened with my parents" I started out. "When I was around 8 they got into drugs. At first it was just weed, but then it got worse, they started with meth and then went to cocaine and heroin, some how they managed to keep their jobs but they only spent their paychecks on drugs so I was forced to shoplift for food. when I was around ten, I had to go to juvie because I kept getting caught for stealing from the local gas station, then when I was around 15 someone called the cops on my parents because they said that they were using drugs. Well, before thw police got there they hid the drugs in my room and being stupid like I was, i tried to throw them away but I got it pinned on me, so I went to juvie for that to. And last year, before I could get my own house i was living on tthe streets and I started breaking into people's houses and sleeping on couches and stealing from general stores so I could survive. I ended up going to jail for three months." I explained. "When I got out, the owner of the tilted kilt offered to help me out by getting me a car and an apartment as long as I worked for him and I haven't left since" I explained.

Landon
I listened as she spoke frowning slightly. I couldn't think of anything to say other than that sucks or I'm sorry but both of those seemed like really stupid things to say. I couldn't say something insightful or smart so I stayed silent for a few moments. "It's in your past though. It doesn't make you who you are." I said simply I continued to run beside before the coach told us to stop and told us to get into teams for basketball.

Paige
I chewed on my lip and sighed. I was horrible at basketball, mainly because I was so tiny, I just hoped that I wasn't left out, considering that there was only one other girl in here and she towered over me.I chewed on my lip, not even realizing that it started to bleed. "Yeah...I guess you're right" I said to him

Landon
I chuckled slightly at the worry on her face. "Do you want to be on my team?" I asked watching her for a moment. She looked like it wasn't exactly her skill so why not it's not like I cared about winning in a class game. A school game was different though I had to win those.

Paige
I gave him a relived smile. "Thank you" I whispered softly. I stood close to him, gripping my arm. " I just wish that we were playing baseball" I said to him. "i'm really good at baseball." I explained, looking up at him. I looked away just in time to see the coach throw a basketball at my face, causing me to shriek and quickly dodge. "Good reflexes Paige" he said to me. I smiled sheepishly and looked over at Landon, not really sure what I should do.

Landon
I laughed slightly at her comment. "Well I suck at baseball and I think we are doing that next week so you'll get to see exactly how bad I am." I said with a little chuckle as I placed a hand on her shoulder. I looked over seeing Kyle and Adam coming over with the basket ball. "How about us four against those four?" Kyle said gesturing to a team not to far away. I nodded as Kyle tossed me the ball. "Just pass the ball to one of us or take the shot." I said simply with a slight shrug.

Paige
I smiled lightly at him and let out a slight squeak when one of the guys threw the ball at me. I quickly caught it before throwing the ball to Landon. I was not doing this. This was not going to end well. I had a feeling that I was going to get hit in the face with a basketball.

Landon
I chuckled slightly at how out of place she seemed playing basketball. Kyle tried to toss the ball back to Paige and I noticed it was going towards her face and managed to intercept it and instead of tossing it back I took the shot making it easily. I looked back at Paige with a little bit of concern. "Do you want me to try and keep the ball from you?" I asked noticing how afraid she was of getting hit in the face.

Paige
I looked at him with a small smile "yes please" I said to him. I chewed on my lip and looked at him I felt awkward just stnading there, and i felt even more awkward that i was the only girl in this class. I looked at the coach who was watching around intently. I watched as he motioned for me to come see him, I ran over to him and looked at him. "Go get dressed, i can see this is too awkward for you"

Landon
I watched her walk away before focusing back on the game making a few more shots before I got tired of the game. It was pretty boring if there was no real competition and the guys even with four against the three of them were pretty sucky and it was annoying. Why the guys wanted to go against the easiest team I have no idea but it was irritating.
