I questioned wondering if she did if it would be better to meet there cause I couldn't just leave my car at school though it would suck losing a couple of minutes to spend with her.

"Just a place downtown. It's not super fancy but they have pretty good food." I said as I opened her door smiling at her. It was just a little hole in the wall Pizzeria that most people ignored but my older brother used to take me there and the food was pretty good and I knew everyone there also I could get the food for free since I did work there.

"Sounds great" I giggled softly. I bit my lip, here i was, in a car with a boy i barely knew. He could've kidnapped me And i wouldnt have been able to do anything about it. I looked over at Landon who seemed concentrated on the road. He was rather attractive. Definitely my type. Dark eyes, dark hair, muscles. he was perfect.

"Alright." I said with a smile as I started the car before driving off towards the restaurant. "So what do you do besides work and school?" I asked as I kept my eyes on the road wanting to hear her voice. It was refreshing compared to all the high pitched voices I hear from all the other girls.

"Nothing really" I said to him. "On the rare occasion that I don't work I'll go see a movie or do some shopping, but other than that all i do is work and school" I explained to him. " I hate it so much, but that's what happens when you have nobody to take care of you" I said softlu

I nodded as I looked over at when I came to a stop sign. Obviously she hadn't had an easy life and had more trouble than anyone should at her age. "Well maybe if you have a day off we can do something." I stated not really sure what else there was to say as I looked back at the road driving the rest of the way before parking on the street and going over to her side to open the door.

i let out a quiet sigh and looked at Landon. "Thank you" i said as he opened up my door. I got out of the car and looked at him. "im sorry for piling all of my shit on you. I shouldnt have done that" i said apologetically. I looked at the ground before looking back up at him.
