Lila smiled as they stood. "Looks like we have a short break before our last class. "What do you say to coffee or tea?" she asked and shouldered her bag. Lila looked him over and bit her lip wanting to tell him everything that had been on her mind all summer and even now.

Mikkie grinned, "sounds amazing beautiful," he said softly. He lifted his bag onto his back and sighed as he heard someone whisper, "they seem close, you think they're fucking?" really quietly, he hoped Lila hadnt heard that

Lila smiled as he called her beautiful. "I think I am really wanting tea today." she said oblivious to what had just happened. Lila took his hand and walked out with him. She found the closest exit so they could walk outside. She knew it would be easier for him outside. Lila grinned at him then frowned. "What is it?" she asked noticing the change in him. "What are you thinking on so hard?" she asked and poked his side.

Lila giggled. "Alright be all secretive on me Mr. Cool-pants." she teased and chuckled. They got to a near by coffee shop and she walked up to the counter with him ordering herself an herbal tear with two sugar cubes.

Mikkie smiled softly, "I'll just have a tea, the British way please," he said teasing Lila lightly. He knew she hated tea without sugar, but he was originally from England, and was particular about his tea, it had to be brewed with hot water, not boiling, no milk, no sugar, and if you drank it without doing the pinky thing he'd glare intently at you. He smiled softly as the barista nodded and went to brew the teas.

Lila giggled. "You dork." she teased back and kissed his cheek. He always made her smile. She sat at the tall stools in front of the window with him. She grinned and leaned against him. "So Mikkie you need to catch me up. What's been on your mind?" she said seriously. Usually when she was trying to get him to talk it was because she had something to say.

Mikkie smiled lightly and sat next to her, "I'm just thinking about when we finish college, we won't be together forever," he said lightly. The thought worried him alot

Lila frowned. "Hey now there is four years for that." she said and took his hand. "Don't start thinking like that. I just got you back." she said. Lila bit her lip. "Besides anything could happen in four years. And it's not like we won't keep in contact." She frowned. "Right?"

Mikkie smiled, "I know," he said softly. He kissed her cheek lightly, "I will always keep in contact with you beautiful," he asid softly

Lila smiled and kissed his cheek. "Good." she said and stood as their teas were ready. She brought them over and sat down again.

Mikkie grinned and sipped his tea lightly. He ran his hand over her leg. "Can I ask you something?" he asked lightly

Lila blushed feeling his hand on her leg. He did things like that once in a while and it made her always feel something strange. "Umm..." she looked at him setting her tea down. She bit her lip. "Sure Mikkie." she said and took his hand in hers so he would stop. Lila didn't want their friendship to be compromised by something meaningless as sex. She had been there and done that before and it wasn't all that. Not enough to loose Mikkie for.

Mikkie looked at her and blushed, "What is sex like?" he asked quietly, "Is it all people say it is?" he added. He knew she wasn't interested in that, he neither was he, but he just wasn't sure about things like that. He was still a virgin.

Lila blushed and giggled. "Mikkie." she smirked. "No not really. I mean I guess it could be if you were with the right person but... I wasn't." she shrugged. She had only had one partner and it was high school prom night. Lila had gone to an after party and ended up sleeping with her date. She had made Mikkie take her home early because she was so upset. It had been awful and it hadn't been much better the second time either. "I don't know much about it you know that." she said and set his hand on the counter before holding her tea with both hands looking into it. "Some day Mikkie a girl is going to be really happy to be your first." she said and sipped her tea. Lila didn't look back at him. She still didn't talk much about those to incidences. Lila hardly talked about much anymore though. Since junior year she had become more than quiet. She still hadn't told him what happened but she had been thinking about it. "Why do you ask Mikkie?" she whispered and looked back at him.

Mikkie nodded softly, "I'm sorry," he said lightly. "I guess I'm just unsure," he added. He grinned, "lets go out and watch a movie," he said

Lila grinned. "Unsure? Mikkie did you find a special someone? You don't have to be sorry." She said and grinned. "I thought you said you didn't meet anyone. But then...?" Lila was really confused but shrugged and looked at the time. "Sure look up movies for after class." She said and hopped down and grabbed her bag. "We should get going."

Mikkie shook his head and climbed down, "No I didn't anyone, I was just wondering, you know," he said softly. He looked at her, and smiled

Lila smiled. "Sure..." she said and grinned. She walked with him back to school grateful that this class was not in the middle of the school. She got into class and sat down with a sigh. "You know Mikkie I am always willing to talk to you about anything you need to know."
