The Time of Our Lives

Neil rolled his eyes at Danny and sighed quietly as he stood up. "Danny, you're way out of line. Can you just stop your shit for once?" He snapped at his band mate. He handed Krissy his number and kissed the top of her head. "Call me later."

Danny snorted in amusement at Neil sticking up for the whore he had slept with the night before. "Oh, who cares? She's a band slut. She doesn't deserve what you can give her," he snapped at his best friend.

Krissy smiled softly at Neil. She put the number in her bra. She found her shoes and slipped them on. She was about to leave when she heard what Danny said. She felt a tear fall and she angered pushed it away. She turned and walked up to Danny slapping him hard across the face sending him stumbling back. She shook with anger. "You don't get to talk about me like that you pig! You don't even know my name! Do you know the name of half the women you fucked? I didn't think so! You have no right to call me that no matter who you are! And you're right about Neil. I don't deserve him but you know what if he sees something in me that he wants to give a chance then by he'll I will let him because he deserves that! He deserves to be happy! Screw yourself Danny! You ever talk to me like that again and I will hit you below the belt." Krissy yelled her eyes narrowing. Sure she put up with a lot but she would not continue to be disrespected by some asshole that thought he was a god. Krissy frowned and rubbed her arm quickly leaving the bus. She got outside and tried to calm her breathing.

Neil watched Krissy leave the bus with wide eyes and then looked over at Danny while shaking his head. "You're disgusting," he muttered before walking to his bunk as the bus pulled off. He crawled inside of it and laid down, closing his eyes as he sighed quietly.

Danny rolled his eyes at Neil and sat down on the couch, rubbing his cheek gently. Sure, he didn't know the names of half the girls he fucked but that was because they just pushed themselves on him and he wasn't going to turn them down. Not to mention the fact that most of them ditched him after they had had sex.

Krissy got to her car and got in. She sighed and rested her head on the steering wheel. She breath in deep not believing that she had just done that. Krissy probably came off crazy but they didn't know her. Yet somehow through all that Neil still wanted to get to know her. She smiled at the thought of him. Krispy put his number into her phone and then drove to a hotel to just relax needing a day to herself after all of that.

When Neil got home, he got off the bus with a bounce in his step, dragging his bags inside the house. He didn't know why he was still friends with Danny after all of this but he was his band mate so he couldn't be too mad or it would start a feud[?] and he'd probably have to quit the band. He definitely wasn't going to let that happen over a girl that he had just met and knew basically nothing about.

Krissy relaxed in the hotel for a day before she headed home. When she got back she hugged her friend and say goodbye. Krissy wasn't sure if all of that had actually happened. She would give it another day before she texted Neil. Krispy had to get some work done anyways.

Neil sighed as Danny walked into the home they shared and instantly plopped down on the couch. He rolled his eyes before he went into the kitchen to make himself some real food since it had been awhile since he's had something other than take out or something of the sort to eat.

Krissy laid on her bed. It had been a long day. She yawned and stretched. It had been more than a few days since she had seen Neil and Danny. She sighed and pulled her phone out. She shot a text to Neil and curled up in her bed hugging her pillows hoping for a response. She had kept her text simple and friendly. 'Hi Neil. It's Krissy. How are you?'

Neil jumped when he heard his phone ring with his text ringtone. He pulled it out and smiled at the sight of it being the girl from a couple nights ago. Hey! How are you doing? he texted her back with a soft sigh escaping his mouth as he pulled his food out of the microwave.

Krissy smiled as she felt her phone go off. She looked at the text and grinned. 'I am better. Thanks. So do you want to meet up for coffee some day?' Krissy hit send before she could change her mind and then she instantly wanted to take it back. It was way to forward and he probably was still thinking she was crazy after the other night.

Neil sat down at the island with his food, tearing into it automatically. He looked at the text when Krissy texted him back. He read it and smiled to himself. How about later tonight after dinner? he texted her back before continuing to eat his food.

After dinner? She blushed. Did he mean after they got dinner together or after dinner time. 'Sure were? And what time should we meet up?' Krissy tried not to assume that he was asking her out on a real date were he bought dinner and they sat and talked. Krissy felt her belly flip at the thought that he might want to do that. It didn't mean a lot right? It felt like it did though and two thousand other girls would kill for the opportunity.

Neil read her text and smiled to himself. He texted her the details, telling her at 8 o'clock at the local coffee shop. He looked up as Danng walked in and sighed in annoyance at him sitting down and stealing his food. He groaned quietly and got up, walking to the living room.

Krissy sighed in relief as she figured out it was just coffee. She grinned and texted him back. 'Sounds like a plan. See you then.' Krissy looked at her clock seeing she had a few hours. Krissy got up and went to take a shower. Maybe he would come back to her place for desert. She had cake batter in her pantry she needed to use up and that would be fun to make with him.

Neil smiled at her text and then went to take a shower. He got dressed in a nice button up and khaki's after drying himself off. He put on a little bit of cologne and grabbed his keys before walking out of the house, ignoring Danny as he went.

Krissy got dressed and pulled on some black slip on flat shoes. Krissy grinned as she looked in the mirror her hair bouncing lightly in loose curls. Krissy got in her car and headed toward the coffee shop. She grinned getting excited to see Neil again. He was very sweet and very interesting. He made her want to know more about him the more she talked to him.

Neil got the coffee shop and walked in, sitting down at a table as he waited for Krissy. What he didn't know was that Danny had followed him to the shop, not knowing that he was jealous over Neil going out with her. He looked around as he waited for Krissy, twiddling his thumbs as he sat there.

Krissy slipped into the coffee shop and smiled seeing Neil. She waved and walked over to him. "Hi." she said and sat by him smiling. Krissy grinned and bit her lip. "How have you been?" she asked and crossed her legs. She was waiting for the waitress to come over so she could get a muffin with her coffee.

Neil smiled at Krissy and waved the waitress over, ordering himself a crossant and a coffee. "I'm quite alright, how are you?" he asked her quietly as he looked around the small coffee shop, a little paranoid.

Krissy smiled. She ordered a carmal latte and a poppy muffin grinning like a fool as she did. It was always fun to order her favorite drink. Krissy chuckled. "Still good." She said frowned. "Hey..." She touched his hand so he would look at her. "If you keep looking around like that you are going to draw attention to yourself." Krissy said and patted his hand. "Relax and look at me." She said Andrew her hand away slowly. "No one knows me yet so they wouldn't think you would be here with me." She said trying to sooth the worry. "So tell me a little about yourself outside of the band." She said wanting to get to know him.
