Finish Line

She walked with him to the garage unsure of what he was up to.

"No they didn't," he said to her lightly as he looked at her.

He stepped back so she could go inside. "After you." He said to her, knowing inside he had replaced everything and had everything shining and bran new.

"You are their best racer, they don't stand a chance if you're not going to." She said, shrugging a little.

She walked inside and stopped, "How.. how'd you do this? It was ashes yesterday," she said as she ran her hands over everything.

He shrugged, "It's just a race," he murmured lightly.

"Well I guess if you have money and only do it for fun, it's just a race. That for me is not having to worry about a light bill, or rent. And being able to work without being terrified of making ends meet." She said softly. "You all have trust funds and rich parents, so it's not surprising to you it is just a race."

He shrugged a little, pointing at a envelope on the desk. "I just did. THere's your money, I left it so you could decide what to do with it."

"I'll do this race if you do it, but it'll be my last one," he told her.

She looked at him then at everything in her shop - it hadn't been this clean in years; since her father was alive and she knew he'd been rolling in his grave with how dirty the place had gotten but with business being non-stop she never had a day to clean it up.

"I guess I could use to it to rebuild my home," she murmured softly, "I did it all myself so I'd have to take a week or two to finish it,"

He shrugged. "However you decide to use it, it's your money." He said with a small smile. He felt responsible for everything, and this was the easiest way he felt to make everything better.

She looked at him and sighed. She knew the cash prize was close to 100,000 and she knew if she won, she'd be set with whatever share she got. "Alright, but you'll have to keep up with me. I beat you last time, remember?" She smiled a little, teasing him a bit. But she was happy. She didn't know if he'd quit racing, but she didn't want ti because of her.

He nodded a little, "Deal," he smiled, "I guess we should get some practice in then shouldn't we?" he said to her. Jongdae was serious about her, because for some reason he felt like she was something special - something more than he had ever been.

She smiled a little and walked over to him and wrapped her arms around him, "Thank you," she whispered softly.

She nodded a little. "Yeah, come on. We'll need an actual track though and we'll need headsets to hear each other on. But also... I want Bianca involved. Exo has a track right?"

He held her and pulled her against him. "Don't mention it, I wanted to."

She held onto him, without this she would have never gotten her garage back. There would be a loss of customers then she'd overall lose her business but because of him she was able to fix everything.

He nodded a little, "Yeah we do, it's pretty big so we can use that if you want to,"

She nodded a little. "Alright, I'll follow you." She said, standing up and turning to him.

He rubbed her back and smiled a little, he was happy she was happy. "I'm glad you like everything."

He nodded and stood up and walked to his car, "It's not far from here,"

She smiled a little, "I think this calls for more planning," she murmured.

"Planning?" He asked curiously. "Planning for what?"

She stood and walked over to her car. "Alright, I'll be behind you."

"My home," she said to him softly, "I can live with her forever," she smiled a little.

He nodded and started his car waiting for her to be ready,.

She got inside and followed him, driving over to where the track was.

He smiled. "Then that's perfect. This will go to that."

Bianca nodded a bit, "Exactly, it'll be perfect," she murmured softly as she looked around.

He pulled up outside the track and buzzed them in with the code then parked the car.

She pulled in, shaking her head. She knew they had money but this was really starting to put it in perspective. The amount of money they and he had was more than intimidating. She parked and climbed out, walking over to him. "I didn't know you guys had an actual track."

He smiled a little. "I was going to head home, do you want to come over?"

She looked at him then nodded a little, it couldn't hurt right? "Sure, why not? Its not like you'd kill me after rebuilding my shop," she grinning in a joking manner.

He laughed,"Well it was going to be an air strip but Suho said no, " he smiled at her.

She nodded a little. "Ah. Because driving cars is more fun than landing your jets?" She asked curiously.

"I only ask because I dont want you to leave yet." He said softly. "Come on."

She smiled a little,"well, let's go then," she said to him as she walked out of the garage and to his car.

"He said it was more practically," he shrugged a bit.

She nodded a little and looked around. "We can do a few laps, but if we're really going to practice, we'll need people to practice against, like in your group, and Bianca working on the cars. Only then will we really be able to do well." She said, sighing a bit. "Actually, we may not be able to get much done, and this was supposed to be a date. Come on, I'll show you how awesome my car is." She grinned.

He nodded and headed into his car, starting it up and heading back to his house. It was a short drive mostly because he had sped the entire way back. "This is home," He said, pulling into his garage.
