Finish Line

"I was never asking you to quit, you don't date racers, I'm not a racer," he said to her, "Then thats something we deal with," he said to her. "It's what I deal with,"

"I don't know really, my brother died behind the wheel of a car I'm not that eager to drive," she told him lightly.

"I'm so sorry." He said to her. "Its understandable but I love it. The rush. Its one of my favorite things in the world."

"What would you do instead?" She asked curiously. She felt as if he was quitting in part for her and she didn't like it. She didnt think she could ever quit for someone.

She nodded a little,"I understand, my brother felt the same way," she murmured softly.

"I could do hobby mechanics like Xiumin," he said to her.

She laughed a little nervously. "Why do you think I could give you more than racing? I don't do much except race and work."

He nodded a little. "Have you thought about helping us fix the cars for the race coming up?"

"Companionship is already more than I've ever had," he said to her.

She sighed a little ,"I don't know," she murmured sotly.

She sighed a little. "Okay. I'll agree as long as you promise you didn't quit for me."

He nodded. "We want Charlie on our team as well. We know we have a better chance with you than against you."

"You're kind of contradictory you know, you won't date a racer but when a guy makes the big move of quiting for you to make a statement he can't quit for you," he said to her.

She nodded, "I know, we'll see," she murmured.

"This whole situation is contradictory. Just two hours ago you called me a bitch but now you're quitting for me. I don't like the idea of forcing someone to do something they didn't want to do. Don't quit because of me. You quit because you want to." She said to him.

He nodded. "Just let me know."

"What has racing done for me? Nothing that I couldn't have done on my own," he said to her.

She looked at him, "I want a thrill," she said as she licked her lips, "Go fast,"

She shrugged a little. "Alright. Maybe we should go out since I ruined the first time."

He nodded a little and smiled. "No problem." He said, putting bis foot on the gas.

"Name the time and place," he said to her.

She closed her eyes as she soaked up the feel of the adrenaline that rushed through her, she opened her eyes seeing him weave through traffic brought something out in her.

He pulled onto the highway, moving in and around the cars around them. He saw her and smiled a little, he hoped she was enjoying herself, he loved moving fast.

She shrugged. "I'm free now, and we can go wherever you want." She said softly.

"Lets go now then," he said to her smiling a little.

Bianca started laughing it was the first real laughter she'd had in a while, and she couldn't stop it.

She nodded a little. "Alright, wherever you'd like."

He laughed a little, moving around the cars as he sped down the highway.

When she felt herself coming down from the high she leaned back and sighed, "So... where are we going?" she asked.

He motioned for her to following him.

She nodded a little, starting her car and driving behind him. She wasn't sure where they were going but she was curious.

He looked at her and raised his eyebrows. "It's a surprise."

She nodded a bit, "Okay then," she murmured softly.

He drove out to the pier and parked his car, "Come on,"

She looked around and got out her car, walking over to him. She sat down by the water and sighed, looking around.

He drove out to her shop and parked, climbing out of his car.

He sat down next to her and smiled, "It's not so bad right," he offered.

She looked at him then climbed out of the car, "Whats going on"

She shook her head. "No, its not." She said as she looked around. "Did they ever find someone else to race in that thing?" She asked curiously. "I know Suho wanted you to."
