Riley laughed. "No, not really surprised at all." She said, shaking her head. "That could be it...girls do like when guys sit through those movies or even like really sad ones, like anything based off a Nicholas Sparks novel. I could care less to be honest. That's never really been a deciding factor for me." she shrugged her shoulders.

Barry grabbed his wallet, "if we go see some cheesy movie you better not bring this up later" he chuckled. He nodded, "well, let's pick one and get started shall we? Put your wallet a eay. I got this" he laughed. Walking up ans taking a closer look at all the movies.

Riley laughed quietly. "What makes you think I'd do something like that?" She asked, feigning innocence. "But you paid for my coffee earlier, I feel like I'm mooching off of you if you pay for my movie ticket too..." She followed him over, trying to see what movies were playing.

Barry laughed, "because I know you... and you've been teasing me all day so one can assume that you'll continue to tease me." Barry patted her back "tell you What I'll get the tickets and you get the popcorn okay?"

Riley laughed quietly. "Alright, you've got me there." She said. She wasn't about to argue with him when she knew that he was right. She probably would tease him for the rest of the day. She nodded in response to his later words. "I guess that's fair..." She agreed.

Barry chuckled, "all right, no chick flicks then," he paid for two tickets to the horror movie. He looked over and nodded, "let's get going the. I've got the tickets, so which diner did you say you work at? I may have to come prayer you sometime" he grinned.

Riley laughed. "I'll get you to watch a chick flick some time soon, mark my words." She said, grinning slightly. While he was getting them tickets, she went and got them some popcorn. "I wasn't sure if you wanted anything to drink, so I got a soda and bottle of water. Take your pick." She said. "Oh? You're going to come bother me? Maybe you should have waited to tell me that until I told you which one I worked at." She joked.

Barry laughed, "good luck with that, Iris hasn't gotten me to watch one then again she has Eddie she could make him do anything." Barry grabbed the water and smiled "thanks, we can always get a refill on the sofa unless you're afraid I have cooties" he joked. Barry rolled his eyes playfully "I'll ask Iris then she'll tell me."

Riley laughed. "Well, I guess it's a good thing that I can be extremely persistent when I want to be." She told him, grinning slightly. She rolled her eyes in response to his later words. "I'm pretty sure everyone outgrows that phase when they're like ten." She laughed quietly. "And how do you know that I told her? Maybe I didn't." She smirked slightly.

Barry raised an eyebrow, "well, I guess I can see that" he winked at her. Barry shook his head, "not all of us are that normal you know," he shrugged. Barry let out a soft chuckle, "she's a reporter she will find out anyway" he grinned as they entered the room.

Riley laughed quietly. "I don't know if I should take that as a compliment or as an insult." She said. "Are you trying to say that you aren't normal and that you still think cooties are a thing?" Her tone was light and teasing. "Yeah, I guess you're right. She probably will find out someway." She laughed once more.

Barry chuckled "both, it's both. I am normal just nerdy I guess, I'm not cool enough for you?" He shook his head, "I don't think cooties are a thing.. Iris is clever she usually gets to the bottom of everything, she should be a detective of you ask me."

Riley laughed quietly. "I never said that. There you go again, putting words in my mouth." Her tone was still teasing. "That's good. I would be a little bit concerned if you still did." She told him, laughing once more. "I'm sure she'll find out where I work in no time at all then."

Barry shook his head, "I have no idea what you're talking about Riley, I haven't done such a thing." Barry walked in and took a seat, "well, worry not I have outgrowny cooty stage." Barry took some popcorn and popped into his mouth, "previews are fun right? Maybe we'll catch a good movie next time."

Riley scoffed, rolling her eyes playfully. "Sure you don't." She followed him inside and took a seat. "I don't mind them unless I'm waiting to see something really good and there's like six or seven of them before the actually movie. Then it just gets annoying. Yeah, maybe we'll actually see something good next time." She laughed.

Barry laughed, "I really don't," he said innocently,. Barry watched as the previews began "it's like thirty minutes worth of previews it is annoying unless it's for a good movie.." He was enjoying spending time with Riley it had been awhile since he's had this much fun date or not.

"I don't believe you." Riley said, laughing quietly. "Exactly. Sure, some of the previews are for good movies, but most of the time I'm not even interested in half of them." She was really having a good time with Barry. She was glad that she had no other plans for the day, she was having a lot of fun.

Barry shook his head, "of course you don't,l" he looked over and smiled "that's true half of them I forget about once they're out int theaters and once they're out DVD always surprised"'he laughed. He hushed as soon as the previews came to and end and the lights dimmed. "Finally" he mumbled.

Riley laughed quietly. "I think that's the case with most people." She said. She knew that she forgot about half the previews she'd seen, unless it was for a movie that she'd already known was coming out at some point soon. If it wasn't, the preview kind of just slipped her mind once she went home. Thankfully, the previews ended soon enough, and the lights dimmed, signally that the movie was about to start.

Barry didn't like the movie much it was all gore or nudity as usual but he spent some of the time throwing popcorn at people or Riley. Who seemed to be doing the same, it was fun actually. The movie ended and he was unimpressed "this is why o don't like horror movies most of them are just gross and no plot. Or sex and violence that's so creative" he chuckled.
