Kinsley nodded slightly. "Um.... ya." She whispered softly biting down on her lip.

"Yes I agree but death is always waiting." He murmured quietly as he looked at the tent ceiling. Caspian hummed softly as he closed his eyes.

Tristan nodded then started to go away from the houses. He sighed as he walked into the woods again.

Savannah thought about how he was right about death being anywhere. She don't want to have to kill him or his sister. Savannah waited til she was sure he was asleep or at least thought he was then grabbed her things. She got out of the tent then started to walk away.

"Are you sure I'm not to heavy?" Kinsley asked softly as she looked around them. She hopped there was someplace nearby that she could raid for pants and a jacket so she could give back Tristan's.

Caspian laid silently as he watched her get up and leave. He didn't move a muscle didn't try and stop her. If she wanted to go on her own then that was what he'd let her do.
(So I have an idea. What if she does get away and in the time something happens to Amber and Caspian get's like a little flip switched.)

Tristan nodded, "yes I'm sure." He said as he kept walking. He was glad that he was able to help her. He just didn't want her to get too cold. After all he was now his partner.

Savannah sighed as she walked through the woods and tried to find somewhere to go. She knew she had to get away from them and save them all the pain.

Kinsley smiled softly at his comment. "Okay." She stated tightening her grip on him. She enjoyed his warmth and he made her feel safe.

Caspian slept for a couple hours until he woke up to a frantic Amber. "She's gone. We have to find her." She said as she started throwing things into their bags.
"Amber if she wants to be on her own we have to let her. But we have to go into town and then we have to find a place okay?" He said simply.

Tristan stopped walking once they were away from the deeper snow and set her down. "We need to rest for a bit." He said. HE didn't want to be worn out.

Savannah decided to go to a different town. She smiled when she saw the town in front of her. She ran to it and smiled when she didn't see a zombie in sight.

"Okay. Don't want you to tired." Kinsley said with a smile as she looked up at Tristan.

Amber wasn't happy about it but she didn't say much about it after he started packing the things. They walked in silence the rest of the way to town and it was surprisingly quite which was good. He needed to stop and grab some things before they found a place to sleep. "Wait in here." Caspian said as he stopped at an empty little store it didn't have much he needed but it would be a good place for Amber to hide. "Take these and I'll be back in an hour at the longest." He said as he place an ax and a gun in front of her she knew how to shoot but he was still hesitant. He left some food for her and left to search for supplies.
He was gone for twenty minutes when he heard the scream and a couple of gun shots and he took off to the sound as fast as he could but the sight nearly killed him. Amber was dead and there were four zombies on her. His mind was clouded and he didn't know what he was doing until all four zombies were re-dead on the ground with much more damage than needed and he stood next to Amber tears falling down his face as he pointed a gun to her head. "I'm sorry." He murmured softly before he took the shot and left. He couldn't bring himself to do much more than that and he left not really knowing where he was going.

Tristan smiled, "That's true." He said. He looked around, trying to find somewhere to go. Tristan looked at her, "You ready?" He asked as he helped her up.

Savannah sighed as she sat down on the bench. She ran her fingers through her hair as she looked at her bag. Savannah just wanted to be able to relax but she knew she wouldnt be able to. She had to keep moving to get away. She stood up then started walking again. She looked at the hospital and decided to get medicine. She walked inside then looked through the stuff. She smiled when she found some anti biotics.

"Whenever you are." Kinsley said softly as she stood up making sure she had everything with her. She was thankful that Tristan had stayed with her, she wasn't sure she'd have been able to make it on her own.

Caspian had been walking for awhile he hadn't slept more than a couple minutes at a time and he really didn't care to. Sleep was always difficult and he could't close his eyes without seeing Amber's face. Sometimes he wondered about just ending it all there was no point anymore.

Tristan nodded then picked her up again. "Alright let's try to find a store you can get clothes from." He said. He started to walk and was glad when he saw a town up ahead. "Looks promising." He said. He knew there had to be something for her there.

Savannah walked out of the hospital with her new supplies and started walking down the street. She stopped when she saw someone ahead of her. She was amazed when she saw it was Caspian, but where was Amber? SAvannah held her gun in her hands as she walked towards him. "Caspian?" She said.

"Yay a town." Kinsley said with a grin as her arms tightened around Tristan. "You won't have to carry me forever anymore." She said with a small laugh though she would miss being able to be so close to him he felt safe and knowing he was with her made her more at ease.

Caspian turned around at the sound of his name his ax in his hand ready to strike though he froze slightly when he saw who it was. It was a lot better than what he initially thought was that he was losing his mind and imagining zombies calling his name. He started blankly at her for a moment his eyes empty and lacking most emotion but if you looked closely you see a tiny glint of sadness.

Tristan smiled then walked beside her, "We can search through the stores and see if you can find something to wear. " HE said. He walked down the street then went into the store. He looked at her and smiled.

Savannah stared at him, "Are you okay?" She asked as she held the bat she had in her hand. He looked so different compared to what he was like before. Savannah bit her bottom lip lightly as she watched him closely. She was scared that he was going to do something awful to her.

"Okay. Oh I think that's a store." Kinsley said with a grin as she pointed down the street at a little store wedged between two odd stores.

"I'm fine." Caspian mumbled in a plain voice as he looked at her lacking any emotion. His eyes were as blank and empty exactly how he felt. He didn't look around like he normally would to be cautious. He had no reason to there was no point in life.

Tristan smiled, "alright let's go." He said as he pulled her toward it. He walked inside, glancing around. "Be careful." He said as he held his gun close to him.

Savannah frowned, "you certainly don't seem okay. Why are you out here wondering alone?" She asked as she glanced around the area.

"Okay I will." Kinsley whispered softly as she looked around. She found a couple pairs of pants some jackets and long sleeves shirts. She stuffed some in her bag keeping a few things out. "Don't look." She warned as she tried to hide behind a display taking off her clothes quickly, keeping an ear out. She slipped on the new clothes coing back out. "Okay let's go this town creeps me out."

Amber di-didn't make it." Caspian stated unable to say that she died it was still something he didn't really want to say or couldn't say.

Tristan looked away as she got dressed, then looked at her when she said she was ready. "Yea I don't like this town." He said as he grabbed his things.

Savannah frowned when she realized what had happened. "Oh caspian I'm so sorry." She said.

"Okay." Kinsley said as she led the way out of the store. "It's way to quite." She said softly as she looked around worriedly. She noticed a few dead zombie bodies tucked behind a dumpster. She grabbed onto Tristan pulling him into a little alley hiding a little. "There's someone or people here that don't want us to know they are here." She whispered softly her heart beating faster.

"Me too." Caspian said with a small sigh. "I gotta keep moving." He mumbled walking past her his eyes focused straight ahead but there was a small glimmer of sadness.

Tristan moved with her and looked down at her, "what do you mean?" He whispered as he glanced around. He could tell she was freaked out and it worried him.

Savannah frowned, "caspian wait." She said as she went after him. She grabbed his arm, "why don't you just stay with me? You shouldn't be alone." She explained.

"There were dead zombies stuffed behind and in that trash. There are living people here that don't seem to want people to know they are." Kinsley whispered holding onto Tristan's arm more for support than to keep him there. She was worried about who might be hiding just waiting for the opportunity to get them and it terrified her.

Caspian frowned as he stopped when Savannah grabbed his arm. "It's fine if you want to go on your own but I can't?" He questioned as he tried to get his arm back. "You don't understand. I raised her she was always mine, always my responsibility and I let her die. I deserve whatever happens alone or not." He muttered tossing his weapon behind him. Maybe it was time he gave up.
