You Can Wear the Crown but You're No Princess

Erika did as she was told as she kissed him back and finally felt something happen.

He kissed her more deeply and put his hand under hers

She didn't move as she felt his hands afraid that would mess this up. She just focused on him and her finger tips.

"You can do this he said between a kiss just focus on what you're feeling right now"

Erika nodded as she kissed doing as she was told. Something had to be happening, she could feel it.

"And now pull it through"

Erika kept her eyes closed and did what he had said. She was struggling though not completely sure if she was doing it or making a fool of herself.

A tiny pink ball appeared in the center of her hand. Emil kissed erikas cheek "congratulations you just made your first majick ball" he said smiling

Erika looked it in and frowned. "But it's so small," she sighed and looked up at him. Of course she wasn't good at this, she had spent all her life pretending it wasn't there and now that she wants to learn maybe it's too late.

" should have seen some other majick users when they started one kid tried to make a marble and accidentally made a tiny block. But keep practicing everyday and one day you'll be able to do this " Emil leaned his arm back and threw a majick ball at one of the dummies and it exploded on impact into green confetti(the ball I mean)

Erika smiled at him. "Well it seems that I will be practicing a lot since I'm with you," she kissed his cheek. "I'm worried though that I'll never get better than his because I've spent so long pretending my magick didn't exist"

" well a lot of people develop majick at different times. I once met a guy who's majick only manifested after all his hair became white and he's a great majick user now and you will be too." He kissed her nose

Erika frowned. "I've known all my life I've had it though, what if I ruined it by pretending it wasn't real or hating myself for having it?" she asked.

"Unless the magic is forcibly removed from you it's still in you and you can still use it"

Erika looked at her hands. "Why do the priest say we're not suppose to have it?" she asked. "I don't understand why."

"Well how many noble families actually have magick users in them? A vast majority of majick users are peasants and it might be that the nobility is using priests to say that majick is bad out of fear of majick users. But anyway when you get better you'll really have fun like this " Emil jumped and put green majick mist under himself and floated in the air

Erika's eyes widened. "There was a servant in this castle that would let me do that with his magick," she smiled. "Actually I'm pretty sure he's upstairs."

He put some green majick under Erikas feet and slowly picked her up with it until they were at the same level. "Really? A lot of servants ended up joining our group after certain events happened"

"Then he's probably there," Erika smiled. "I don't think they took the magick of the servants because it was often useful and quicker. The priests allowed it because it had something to do with since they were helping us therefore they were helping the lord."

" well that's kind of them" Emil made her float next to him as he laid down on the majick and closed his eyes " so princess Erika would you like me to still only refer to you as princess or shall I call you by your first name? Or " he turned to her and smiled "should I only refer to you in private as lover?"
