    I mean, despite living her whole life in Georgia, she's managed to escape the accent that I toted around like an unwanted mole.



    The Sunday before, I had finely grown the steel ovaries to tell her that I loved her.

    Louis says something ridiculous like, "So, when the sun goes down, it takes the blue with it, then?"

    ...

    He sits up, smart remark forming as he looks down at Louis' stupid happy face but—

    No, the blue goes here; it's all in his eyes.

    But that's not very bro-like, now is it? So he stops.

    The first, a burly man with sharp gemstone eyes, looked over his shoulder as he tripped away, followed closely by the second, a slim-figured young man of dark features, whose step developed a speed to match his famous wit.

    I touch galaxies when I sleep.
