1. Users may only have one account on the site.

Users are not allowed to create or use more than one account - for any reason.

If you are banned (permanently or temporarily), you are not allowed to create or use another account; if you do, those accounts will also be permanently banned.

If, for some reason, you lose access to your (if you've lost your login info or you feel you need a new account because of some other issue), contact an admin on the site via email or PM. Admins are: Katie - MibbaKatie@Gmail.com, Nicole - MibbaNicole@Gmail.com, and Audrey - MibbaAudrey@Gmail.com.

2. Insulting, harassing, or in any way abusing another user is not allowed on any part of the Mibba website.

This includes insulting comments on stories, articles, blogs, poems, or posts, and posting insulting images. Users found doing so will receive a ban from the site. Because of the community we hope to create on Mibba, this rule extends off-site as well. Posting insulting messages about a Mibba user or their writing on a different site will also result in a banning here on Mibba.

3. Posting illegal or pornographic content on any part of the Mibba website is prohibited.

This includes sharing links and promoting illegal downloading.

4. Mibba users may only use the site to host their own, creative works.

Plagiarizing and stealing the writing of others is forbidden, and will result in a banning.

5. Users can only upload photos of themselves in their photo gallery.

No art, celebrities, photography or images of any other kind are allowed. This rule applies only to the photo gallery. The content of profile pictures, avatars, and photos in the Art and Photography forum is not restricted.

All images uploaded to the site must be appropriate and not offensive.

6. Usernames cannot contain offensive words, and signatures cannot contain bashing.

Please use good judgment or ask a staff member if you're unsure about a word. Censoring profanity is also not allowed in usernames. Bashing is prohibited in signatures, even if it is from another source such as a song lyric or quote.

Mibba takes bashing and cyberbullying very seriously. Because of this, we have a strict no-bashing policy, and we expect users to treat each other the way they wish to be treated. Bashing will result in an immediate suspension of your account.

No bashing Mibbains or their writing.

It's important to treat other users how you would want to be treated. Flaming, harassing, threatening and being condescending towards other users is strictly forbidden on Mibba.

This rule also extends to user's writing posted on the site. Constructive criticism is welcome, but rude or insulting comments (This story is awful or You're just an awful writer, terrible) are not allowed.

No bashing artists, books, films, users’ opinions, etc.

Similarly the rules apply to music, films, books, people and such. It's fine if you don't like a specific thing and you'd like to discuss why, but don't take it too far. There's a way to discuss things without bashing. It's simply the difference between saying, "I don't like this band. I think the lead singer has a terrible voice and all their songs sound the same," and saying, "This bands sucks! Their lead singer is a jerk and their fans are idiots."

Public Ridicule

Similar to bashing, if you’re having issues with a user (whether it is personal or pertaining to their work or opinion) do not attack or mock that person anywhere on the site, whether direct or indirect. Public ridicule will get you banned from the site.

If you need to report something to a member of Mibba's staff, here's how you can do so and who you can contact.

How to Send a Report

If there's an issue on Mibba and you need to report it, you can send a private message to any of Mibba's staff. By sending your report directly to a staff member, you ensure that it will be seen and handled quickly. It’s important that you do not report users via a profile comment, forum post or some other public way. Do not confront a user breaking the rules or handle rule breaking on your own; let the staff deal with the issue.

You can find a list of Mibba's staff here: Admins, Story and Poem Editors, Board Mods, Article Editors, and Blog Mods.

In your message, include as much relevant information as possible, including but not limited to:

• The username of the users involved and links to their profiles.
• Links to where the issue is - whether that be a story/poem/blog, comment, forum post, ect.
• What the issue is/what rule you think has been broken.

When your report is addressed, you can expect a reply message from a staff member with information about the status of your report.

Who to Report To

When in doubt, you can send your report to any member of the site's staff and he/she will make sure your message gets to the right person. But here's a short list of which staff members handles which section of the site:

Story and Poem Editors handle anything story or poem related - whether it be plagiarism, insulting/bashing comments, incorrect ratings, etc.

Article Editors handle everything to do with articles - whether it be plagarism issues, bashing/insulting in comments, excessive grammar/spelling errors, etc.

Board Moderators deal with Mibba's forums - you can report things like duplicate threads, spamming, bashing, or threads that need to be deleted/locked.

Blog Moderators deal with Mibba's blog section - you can report things like spam in blogs, bashing/insulting in blogs, copy+pasted material, ect.

Administrators can help with any issue on Mibba, but you can specifically report duplicate accounts, site errors, illegal or pornographic content, spam bots, user conflicts, and anything else to them.

Other Reasons to Contact Staff

Staffs not only here to field your reports. If you have any questions about any part of the site or if you need help with anything, feel free to send staff members your questions or concerns and we'll get back to you ASAP.

Why Can't I Log On?

There are three reasons why a user may not be able to access their Mibba account:

• Your account has been temporarily or permanently banned from the site due to breaking of the rules.*
• You've forgotten/mistaken your login information.
• There is a site-glitch.

* If you have been banned (either temporarily or permanently), you should receive an e-mail from an admin explaining why you've been banned and when your ban expires. This e-mail will be sent as soon as the admin suspends your account.

What Do I Do If I Can't Access My Account?

If you're having trouble logging on, DO NOT create another account. Instead, message one of Mibba's administrators via e-mail.
