A Night In Braunschweig. [closed]

Mariska frowned when she sat Timothy, then went over to him. "Oh my god. What happened?" She asked as she knelt next to him. She frowned when she saw how bad the wounds were. Mariska looked around, "Come with me." She said. She walked back to her house then brought him inside. Of course her father was outrage about her bringing an american soldier into the house. She yelled at him in german about how he needed their help and she wasnt sending him out. She watched as her father looked at him and then agreed to help him. Mariska went over to him, "Sit." She said as she lightly pushed him into the chair. Her mother came over with some things to clean up his wounds. MAriska began to help him, careful not to hurt him.

Kass looked at her, "Sie wollen das Bett?" He asked. He knew that she deserved the bed. He took off his jacket then walked over to the window and closed the window. He knew he needed to get back to his troop. He had to find something to do with her though.

"I wasn't supposed to do anything. Wasn't supposed to react. I just couldn't take him beating that poor old man any longer. I hit the officer so the old man's family could help him get away. I didn't fight back so he wouldn't kill me. He just kept hitting me..I don't know why I wasn't unconscious.." Timothy's various head wounds bled pretty badly, and he looked like a wreck. He held his side, where he'd been kicked so hard a few ribs were broken and drew in a raspy, slow breath. "Thank you for helping me," He whispered softly to her, but his eyes were closed.

Alice slipped off her shoes and the coat she wore to tend to patients, leaving her in a simple but pretty blue dress that she intended to sleep in. "Sie können das Bett. Oder wir können zu teilen. Ich habe nichts dagegen." She shrugged her small shoulders and looked over at Kass.

Mariska helped him get cleaned up, "You should stay here for awhile so that you can rest." She said. She finished cleaning him up then helped him to the back room. She slid the bookcase open to reveal a small sleeping place. "They wont look here if they do raids." She said.

Kass looked at her as he got into his bed, "Wir teilen" He said. He laid back and turned the light off when she got in bed. It had been awhile since he had been this close to a woman but he knew he had to control himself.

"Are you sure, Mariska? I'm sure your parents don't want an American in your house. It is dangerous and all of you will be killed if I'm found here." Timothy looked exhausted, but he really didn't want there to be trouble for the Emerson family because of his rash decision in the grocery store.

"Alles klar dann," Alice replied and pulled back the covers on her side and slid under them. Since the bed wasn't all that big, there wasn't much space between the two of them, but Alice barely seemed to notice. After a moment, though, their body heat combined started to make her too hot so she got up and slid off her dress in the darkness of the room, leaving her in only her undergarments. When she laid back down, she left the covers off and closed her eyes.

Mariska looked at him, then looked back as her little brother carried them over a couple blankets. She took them watched as he walked away. "Yes i'm sure. You will be fine here." She said as she made his bed. She shut the door so they were alone and looked at him. "Just stay til you are rested. It's rare that they do raids anyway in this area." She explained.

Kass relaxed and stared up at the ceiling, then looked over when he felt her move. He watched as she slipped off her clothing then looked back at the ceiling. Kass felt her lay beside him and tried to stay away a bit. He didn't want to be rude.

"Alright, I will stay. But if they do happen to do a raid and find me here, do not fight them. Stay back and let them take me. You all must act as if you did not know I was here. I know it's a stretch, but it might just save your life." Timothy laid down slowly, letting out a slight groan of pain. He pulled covers over himself and looked over at her, his expression getting serious when he said, "Thank you for doing this for me.."

Alice's petite body wiggled a little to get comfortable, unintentionally getting a little closer to Kass. Her back faced him and she relaxed next to him, yawning softly and pulling the blanket up to try to get warm because she was shivering

"Alright, I will stay. But if they do happen to do a raid and find me here, do not fight them. Stay back and let them take me. You all must act as if you did not know I was here. I know it's a stretch, but it might just save your life." Timothy laid down slowly, letting out a slight groan of pain. He pulled covers over himself and looked over at her, his expression getting serious when he said, "Thank you for doing this for me.."

Mariska stared at him, "It's not a problem." She said. She stepped out of the small room, then shut the door. Mariska laid down that night and thought about what a risk they were taking by having him there. The next morning she walked out and helped her mother with breakfast. Mariska walked to the small room with some food and opened the door. "Morning." She said softly, when she saw him look at her. "Here." She said as she offered him the plate of food.

Kass closed his eyes and fell asleep. He rolled over in his sleep, his arm going around her as he slept silently. He slept through the morning, worn out from all of the running they had been doing.

Timothy looked worse then than he did the day before. All the bruises he'd been given were coming in now and he was just a mess. He smiled a little at her, though, and murmured, "Good morning." He sat up and cringed slightly but took the plate and began eating like he hadn't eaten in days. He glanced at her every so often and finally said, "Why are you doing this? Helping me, I mean." He raised an eyebrow as he took another bite of food.

Alice slept just as late as Kass, having curled up close to him since she had been cold after taking her dress off. She didn't seem to mind or really notice his arm around her because she was so soundly asleep.

Mariska looked at him, "Because you helped me." She said. "You will be okay." She said as she patted his back. She sat there and waited for him to finish. She took his plate when he was done, "Do you want anything else?" she asked him as she watched him closely.

Kass held her close as they slept then woke up the next morning. He pulled away, sitting up and looking around. He got up and got dressed for the day. He really wished he had his gun. Kass bit his bottom lip lightly as he looked around the room.

"No, I'm fine," Timothy told her quietly and slowly laid back down on the bed, watching Mariska quietly. He asked, "How old are you? I'm just curious." He smiled a bit sheepishly afterwards and looked down before looking over at her. She was very mature, so he wasn't sure really how old she was. He sure did like her a lot though.

Alice woke shortly after and rubbed her eyes as she sat up and yawned. Her brown locks were prettily disheveled and her green eyes were still droopy from sleep when she looked over at him and smiled faintly. "Guten Morgen," She whispered sleepily, stretching and standing, still in just her underclothes.

Mariska looked at him, "I'm eighteen. " She said as she ran her fingers through her hair. She sat on the bed next to him, "What about you?" She asked as she looked around the small room. It wasn't much but she knew that it would do for him. It was better than what would happen if he got caught.

Kass watched as she got up, "Guten Morgen." He said as he got up and began to get dressed back in his uniform. He hated that they had a long way to find his troop. He had an idea of where they might be but he was worried about what they would do to her.

"I'll be twenty one..well, in a few days actually," Timothy informed her, slipping his arms behind his head. "I'm surprised I even remember my birthday since I'm so busy here. I suppose it's because I'm comfortable with you here." He smiled a bit at her and shrugged his shoulders. "I have to leave here tomorrow. They'll either think I've deserted or I'm dead and we can't have that."

Alice grabbed her dress and slipped it back on her petite frame before combing her fingers through her hair. When she was done briefly grooming herself, she looked to Kass and smiled a little. She was so glad to be out of that terrible place that she hadn't even thought about the fact that where he was going back to would most likely be even more terrible for her.

Mariska looked at him, "Okay you will have to be careful. Perhaps you can go out the back?" She suggested. She didn't want him to get caught because she knew that they would kill him. Mariska stood up, "I should leave you alone now." She said as she opened the door and stepped out. She shut the door and ran her fingers through her hair. Mariska walked to her room and sat down, beginning to write.

Kass looked at her, "Are you ready?" He asked. He watched her for a moment then opened the door and glanced around. He was glad when they walked downstairs. Kass was surprised that the man at the house made them something to eat. "Thank you." He said as he sat down. He began to eat, knowing they had to go soon.
