I WAS THINKING THIS THE WHOLE WAY THROUGH THE MOVIE OH MY GOSH. I want one in my life. I'd take super-good care of it and it'd come everywhere with me.

I just wish life was like Star Wars, tbh. I want my own droid. No

I'm attempting to expand my writing horizons and dabbling in sci-fi, so maybe one day I'll get into supernatural/paranormal stuff. It definitely would take a lot of research though, because I was never really too into it when I was younger, so I have a lot of catching up to do XD
Yeah for sure, I always really enjoy fanfics that can be read as originals. Especially because I don't know a whole lot about that many fandoms so it's hard for me to understand everything lmfao
WAYT, I'm having a dilemma. I'm going to apply to a few different colleges/universities for next year, but I don't know how many I should apply to. I know I'm going to try for RDC again, because it's in-between Edmonton and Calgary, and Red Deer fairly small so I wouldn't feel overwhelmed because my hometown is also small. I'm debating if I want to apply to UofA in Edmonton too though. I wasn't going to originally, because the school is huge af and I don't really want to live in Edmonton, but my college is a uni transfer college that that's the university that my program is through, so I feel like I might have a chance of getting into it. I was also considering applying to Mount Royal in Calgary, which is the city I really, really want to live in, but the program is completely different so I don't know if I really have a chance of getting in there.

I would apply to all of them in a heartbeat, but the applications fees are pretty expensive, so I'm trying to decide if it would be worth it to Think I really want to get out of my hometown though, so I feel like it might be.

I'd definitely apply for everything that you can afford. I did that when I was applying to universities (although granted, we have UCAS / CUKAS for applying so I only paid one straight fee for any universities and one straight fee for any conservatoires) and I'm so glad I did because I didn't actually get into the course I initially wanted to do. If I had been given my own way, then I'd have been stuck with no university place after school, so I'm always glad that I applied to them all, even if it did cost me like £200 in total to do so. lmfao I'm a one-and-done girl. What you see is my first go at it. I'm happy for the first few weeks then it turns to mush.
It totally is worth it. tehe I feel your pain and joy.

lmfao Procrastination will be the death of us.

    @ kitsch
Repaired? OMFG What went wrong with it?
True. Thumb down Give us our desserts!

What Victoria said, pretty much. The more options, the better. Some might even surprise you with the resources available. What are you going to pursue in your studies, if you don't mind me asking? That is another important factor other than costs.

    @ lonely girl.
Too much unused mileage on it. Sad

You reminded me of this hahaha.

"Just" trees HA OK SURE. I did a quick search of "trees in Australia" and remembered you guys have eucalyptus, gum, and some FAMOUS ONES as well.
    Scooter
I love you too though. So you'll just deal with this when I get there. Keep the trees safe.

    Aw. Sad

    And he's Australian. Wink

Haha, okay. I have some fun facts about eucalyptus trees. They purposely drop bark and branches to invite being set alight / encourage fire to spread so that they can send out seeds and more eucalyptus trees can grow in place of the plants which fire kills. There's also one variety of shrub which only sends out seeds every 100 years, unless it's set on fire - then it seeds the next day / when the fire's gone.

GUYS, I'M WRITING. THIS IS SO EXCITING considering the last time I wrote was three days ago and before that, pretty much here and there but nothing consistent. I didn't think I'd be writing for a while since once I update something, my mind is like 'okay, you're good for two weeks' XD But here I am, writing something that I think might even go up tonight. Idk. We'll see.

ALSO I'm listening to a chill playlist on spotify and I have to say, it's really helping me get in the mood / feel of the story. Except when spotify has ads. -_-

~~ I knew you'd appreciate that he's from your mother country!

HOT DAMN even the trees are interesting over there. Makes me want to pull a Sound of Music and start going 'round with my arms outstretched. I'm ready for more of this fascinating ecological gold mine.

Thanks friends, I'm definitely gonna try and apply to all three. I'm currently in a Bachelor of Science in Nursing program and I'm just looking to transfer schools. If I don't get into any of them I'll still be in the program at my current college so it isn't that big a deal if I don't get in, I just want to get out and experience life out of my hometown. tehe

See, I'm one-and-done when it comes to doing anything arts-and-craftsy, but anything else and I'm such a perfectionist. Facepalm I almost missed the deadline for my Higher art folio because I was doing finishing touches on my expressive piece and the paint wasn't dried properly. No

Procrastination is actually going to be the death of me, I swear. I have an essay due in for uni in 3 days that I haven't started and I'm currently sitting in a room that I started tidying at 4 PM. There are piles of clothes beside me. It's not even remotely ready and it's just past 9 PM. lmfao No writing for me tonight!

    @ lily hughes.
Every time it was on the screen I was all "AWW SO CUTE I WANT ONE" and my brother was almost ready to slap me, I swear. lmfao Imagine how cool life would be if you had a droid though. So cool.

i've not had anything thrown up lately, but I use AVG and I have a Mac so maybe I'm just not getting it because of that? Think

Ah, good luck! I bet you'll do fabulously anyway, whatever happens. Arms
My sister told me not to pile everything up on her bed because she doesn't finish work until 11PM and she has to get up for placement at 7AM tomorrow but I've just gone ahead and piled everything on her bed. I am 100% the worst sister ever but I love it. lmfao

I have decided in my infinite wisdom that I do not like US dollars and that when I go to Florida next year, I am just going to throw Scottish notes at them and pretend I don't speak English. That should totally work. Shifty

Real talk though, USA, why are your bills so strange feeling / looking and where are the guys in fancy wigs?

Idk man I wish we had that plastick-y type of money since it's lighter and just better overall but nooooooooo. And also make the coins lighter. My wallet is so fucking heavy.
    lmfao
We just like everything to be IN YO FACE. You should visit Washington DC someday to see the money being made. And burned (not figuratively, there's a furnace for our bulky money that is no longer in circulation for whatever reason).

    @ swell
I'd laugh if our money had that kind of variety. tehe We "pride" ourselves on the fact that it's green. (Rolling Eyes)

    @ losing control.
    Oooooooooooooh. Scooter

That's understandable though, we all need time away from close quarters. Best of luck in whatever happens. Regardless, you're gonna kill it. Thumb up
