Annie frowned. "I thought taking the gentler approach would make him feel more comfortable with me," she said with a sigh. "Guess I was wrong."

Brandon chuckled softly. "I don't know, she seems overall happier after the sex," he said with a shrug. "I think she realizes that I only want her and nobody else."

Sutton looked at him, "Taven has a hard time opening up is all. It will happen. HE likes you. I can tell because he keeps looking over here at you." She said.

Taven smiled, "Oh it's definitely the sex." He said, laughing. "Hey are you gonna go to the haunted house tonight will all of us. Good way to freak the girls out." He said as he got up from the floor.

Annie glanced over at Taven, biting her lip gently. "Yeah, well he has a horrible way of showing it," she mumbled, more to herself than to Sutton. She sat down and smiled at her friend as she walked over and sat down next to her.

Brandon stood up and looked at his friend, nodding his head. "Yeah, man, absolutely," he said with a grin.

Sutton looked at her then went back over to her friends. She smiled as laughed with them. She ran her fingers through her hair then pulled it up into a messy bun.

Taven looked at Annie then walked away and went over to her. "Can i talk to you for a second?" HE asked looking at her friend. He gave her friend a small smile then walked away with her. He looked at her, "Everyone is going to the haunted house tonight. You wanna go with us?" He asked.

Annie looked up at Taven and nodded her head. "Sure," she murmured. "Halloween is my favorite holiday." She forced a small smile. "Pick me up at seven?"

Brandon walked over to Sutton and stood behind her, quickly reaching up to cover her eyes. "Guess who," he whispered into her ear.

Taven smiled when she agreed, "Sure i will pick you up at seven." He said. He stepped back from her then returned to her friends.

Sutton smiled, "Hmm...I have no idea who it could be." She said, laughing softly. She looked at him and kissed him.

Annie walked back over to her friend, telling her she had to cancel their plans for the night because she was going out with Taven and his friends. Her friend seemed disappointed, but put a smile on and nodded her head anyways, thinking about the project.

Brandon grinned and kissed her back. He pulled away and looked into her eyes. "You're still coming with us tonight, right?" he asked, sliding his hands down her arms and grabbing her hands, squeezing them.

Taven smiled as he stood with his friends and talked to them. He frowned a little when they said the only reason he was hanging out with Annie was to sleep with her. He hated that they thought that.

Annie started to jog around the gym, thinking about things. She didn't want to give up on Taven just yet, but she wasn't sure if she would get anywhere with him.

Brandon smiled and led her away from her friends, starting to walk laps with her. "So, I was thinking for the quarter break, you and I could go somewhere together," he suggested.

Taven ran with his friends and focused on his breathing. He had always liked running. It made him feel so much calmer. It was like a drug that he couldn't get away from.

Sutton smiled, "That would be a lot of fun." She said as she took his hand and walked with him. She loved being alone with him.

Annie watched Taven, biting her lip gently. She looked up when Lennox walked by and cut her a look, as if the other girl knew she was looking at Taven.

Brandon smiled at her. "I've saved up enough from cutting Ms. Hanson's grass," he said. "I was thinking we could rent a cabin for the weekend."

That night Taven walked up to Annie's door a knocked. He smiled as she opened the door, "Hey." He said. "Are you ready?" He asked. He was excited to finally got out on the weekend with his friends. He was hoping Annie would have fun.

Sutton walked with Brandon. She stood with him and a few of their other friends as they waited for Taven and Annie. She looked up at him and smiled.

Annie nodded her head and shouted to her dad not to wait up for her before she shut the door and looked over at everyone. She smiled softly and walked over to them. "Hey," she murmured.

Brandon smiled at Annie, waving before he slid his arm back around Sutton, kissing her cheek. It was getting cold pretty quickly so he wanted to make sure she stayed warm.

Taven smiled as he stood with Annie. He kept his arm around her and looked towards the house. "Alright let's get started." he said. He walked with her and then paid her way. He smiled as he walked into the house first. He had always liked this kind of stuff.

Sutton smiled as she walked into the house with Brandon behind her. She had never liked being in the back. She took his hand and bit her bottom lip lightly as she walked.

Annie had been ready to pay for herself, but she was surprised when Taven did for her. And she was surprised that he kept his arm around her the whole time. She followed him inside, biting her lip as she looked around. She had always been a fan of horror movies, so she was super excited.

Brandon squeezed her hand, smiling softly at her. He looked around, just feeling a little uneasy from looking around. He'd never been one for scary stuff, but Taven loved it, so he always followed along.

Taven walked with Annie and led the way through the house. It wasn't all that scary, but he had a good time watching everyone else get scared. When they finally made it out of the house he looked at his friends. "You guys wanna get some food? I'm starving." He said. His friend looked at him, "I don't know how you consume so much food." He said, rolling his eyes, laughing. Taven looked at Annie and smiled.

Sutton smiled as she walked out of the house with Brandon. She put her arms around his waist as they stood there. She looked up at him, "I'm up for some pizza." She said, laughing softly.

Taven walked with Annie to his car and got in. He looked over at her, "are you having fun?" He asked. He wanted to make sure he wasn't making her night miserable. Maybe he should let her chose what they did one night so she felt more comfortable.
