Dust In The Wind. [closed]

Taven smiled as the show started. Though it was in French he was glad he understood everything they said. He looked over at Annie, knowing she was confused. Taven spent most of the show whispering every word that was said in the show into her ear. He kept his arm over her shoulders as he watched her smile.

Sutton got home after practice and sighed as she sat down on her bed. She didn't know what she was going to do.

Annie was kind of surprised that Taven knew French, but it was kind of enticing hearing him speak a different language. She liked it. When the show was over, she looked over at him and smiled. "I never would have guessed you'd know French," she said. "But it's beautiful."

Brandon waited a while before he dialed Sutton's number."

Taven smiled as they walked out, "It's just something i picked up when my parents took me to France last summer." He said with a shrug.

Sutton sighed as she answered the phone, "Hey." She said softly.

"Wow, that's amazing," Annie mumbled. "I've always dreamed of going to Europe. You're so lucky."

"Sutton, we need to talk," Brandon said.

Taven smiled, "Yea it was nice. I had a lot of fun there. There is a lot of cool stuff." He said as they walked to the jeep. He opened the door for her then got in. "Did you have fun tonight?" He asked as they drove.

Sutton frowned, "Yea i know." She said.

Annie smiled brightly at him and nodded her head. "Yeah, I did," she murmured. "Thank you for bringing me."

"I'm sorry you're upset," he said. "I just . . . I'm scared."

Taven smiled, "You're welcome. Are you hungry?" He asked. He figured they could stop and eat if she wanted to.

Sutton looked down at the floor, "Me too." She whispered.

Annie nodded her head. "Yeah, a little, actually," she murmured.

"I can't take care of a baby," Brandon mumbled. "I have so much more to worry about. Like school and my job and my parents."

Taven nodded then drove to one of the nicer restaurants. He walked inside with her then sat down with her as the table.

Sutton frowned, "You think i dont know that!" She snapped. "I can't have one either." She yelled.

Annie sat down and smiled softly at him. "This place is nice," she murmured.

"Sutton, stop yelling at me," Brandon frowned. "I'm just telling you how I feel."

Taven nodded, "Yea i like this place." He said as he looked over his menu. He hadn't been there in so long.

Sutton frowned, "I just don't feel like talking about this right now." She whispered.

Annie bit her lip as she looked over the menu. "This is all so expensive," she mumbled.

"Well, when are we going to talk about it?" Brandon asked. "You can't just ignore it."

Tucker looked at her, "Get what ever you want. I don't mind. It's better than eating here alone." He said, muttering the last part.

Sutton sighed, "When i'm able to relax and tell my parents thats when we will takl about it." She said.

Annie looked at him and frowned. "You eat here alone?" she asked.

Brandon was hesitant about her telling her parents, especially because of where he came from, but he really had no choice in the matter. "O-okay," he mumbled.

Tucker shrugged, "Some times." He said. He would never take his friends here. They could act like idiots some days.

Sutton sighed, "I will take care of it Brandon." she told him. She felt bad that he was going to have to go through this.

Annie frowned. "Well, you know, if you ever want to go somewhere and don't want to go by yourself, you can call me," she said.

Brandon slowly nodded. "Alright," he said. "I trust you."

Taven smiled, "Thanks i will be sure to give you a call." He said. He ordered his food after her then leaned back and watched her for a moment. "So what kind of stuff do you like to do?" He asked.

Sutton smiled, "I know you do. I will call you later. Bye." She said before she hung up.

Annie looked at him and shrugged her shoulders. "Uh, I like to read a lot," she mumbled, blushing slightly. "I don't really have any hobbies. I spend most of my time studying for school."

Brandon sighed softly and tossed his phone next to him on his bed, running his hands over his face and sighing heavily.

Taven nodded, "You seem really focused on school." He said. HE tried to hide the fact that he was really good at school. He knew that people would make fun of him.

Sutton couldn't believe this was happening to her. she walked over to her big mirror and stared at herself. She wasn't ready for a baby. She wasn't ready to give up her life.

Annie looked at him for a moment before she nodded her head. "Yeah," she mumbled. "I'm trying really hard to earn a scholarship. We can't really afford to pay my way through four years of college, so I'm hoping for some sort of scholarship."

Brandon took a deep breath and sighed heavily, laying back on his bed and staring up at the ceiling. He was going to be a dad. Holy crap.
