"You must be forgetting the part I told you about me and that machine being from the future - it will know and it will kill you, this isn't a game Leila!" he said to her, "We're leaving the state and we're going somewhere safe, I need to train you properly, the sake of the new world depends on it," he said to her.

She nodded a little as she sighed and pulled out her phone, "Should I ditch this then I saw it on a movie once," she said to him.

"Yes, anything electronic would be the best to get rid of. I'll teach you to defend yourself because we never know when they'll send another." He nodded a little. "It's very important that you stay alive."

"What about the part where I didn't ask for this? Did you think about that Aiden?" She said in frustration. "What new world depends on me?"

"One that isn't yet in motion, and you didn't ask for it but it's yours and if you don't play along then we're all going to die," he said to her seriously.

She nodded and took her phone apart removing the sim card and battery then tossing it into the back seat, "Alright, okay I don't understand but okay,"

He shook his head, pointing at the phone. "Not back seat, outside. We don't want it near us at all." He said seriously.

"Fine." She muttered, sighing a bit. "Do you need me to google a place to stay or something?" She asked.

"No, I have a place in mind we're not stopping till we get there," he said to her.

She nodded and tossed the phone out the window, "There," she murmured.

"How far is this place?" She asked. "Aiden, I'm tired. If we found a place far enough I'm sure we'll be fine for a night,"

"We need to geta decent ways away before we can stop." He said. "It's really important we get you safe. Your daughter is one of the key leaders that lead the humans against the machines." He said, not knowing whether or not to wait to tell her the rest. He didn't want to scare her, but he wanted to be honest too.

"But... I don't have a daughter," she said to him softly as she looked at him confused.

"Sleep, we're going to utah," he told her seriously, "We have to meet up with someone else there - I'll drive for now stopping is a death sentence,"

"Not yet. Like I said, I'm from the future. She sent me... If you don't survive, neither would she." He explained softly.

"That's a 12 hour drive. Stopping to sleep should be okay, you can check out wherever the place is first, then we get up early tomorrow and keep going." She added. "I'm tired, and you look tired too."

"No, we're not stopping," he said to her, "The future depends on you being alive," he said to her.

She nodded a little,"I see," she said to him softly, "Where are we going?"

"We won't make it very far if I die in a car accident." She added. "What good are you to me exhausted?"

"We're heading to Utah. We'll be the safest there. But as soon as were a significant distance away, at a town you have no ties to, we'll stop and keep driving tomorrow." He told her.

"I'm fine, I've lived and drove on less sleep," he told her.

She nodded a little,"Okay.. well it's about 11 hours away from seattle so we have a bit of a drive,"

She shook her head, he was clearly stubborn. "Who sent you anyway?" She asked him.

"Which is why we'll stop. I won't get much sleep but you should," He sighed. "Plus we'll need gas and food. We'll find some where easily defensible, even better if theres a dog nearby. They're like alarm systems for the robots. They can always tell,"

He let out a sigh then licked his lips, "Your son," he said to her as he looked at the road. He was unsure of how she would take this news.

She nodded a little,"Then maybe we should stay near a car garage - they always have dogs there for protection," she told him.

She raised her eyebrows slightly. "My son? But... I don't have a son, I don't even have a boyfriend."

"I was thinking in a car garage. I can check the car, make sure I have everything I need. Get gas and then we just need to worry about food." He nodded a little.

She nodded a little,"Alright, well lets stop at this sandwich place they have great sandwiches," she murmured.

He sighed,"I'm from the future," he told her, "Without you alive your son can't be the next great leader,"

"So you've met him then..." She said slowly. "What's he like? Does he look like me?"

"We can't stop at any place you've had ties to. They know where you've been. And thats where they'll look." He told her. "We'll find some place else,"

He smiled,"He has your nose, and lips," he murmured lghtly with a fond smile thinking of his son.

"But I've never been there before, only in Seattle," she told him lightly.

"If its a chain, we need to steer clear. Faith, they know everything about you. We don't want to take a chance." He said seriously. "There's more that you need to know, but it may be better to wait. Do you want to know, or have me wait to tell you?" He asked slowly

"So... He must have his father's eyes." She murmured, thinking to herself. "Do you know who his father is? Have you met him?"

He looked at her,"You're lookin' at'em," he smiled at her,"Hi, I'm Aiden future lover and husband," he smirked at her.

"Just... tell me everything," she murmured softly as she looked at him.

She gasped. "WHAT?" She said in shock. "Whoa, whoa, hang on. You're my husband?"

"Well... Your daughter... Is our daughter." He said softly, watching her reaction.
