Flying Away

When her feet hit the ground she sighed, "Can't wait to meet them, if they're anything like you then I'm sure things will be fine,"

He laughed,"Yeah she is stubborn, but I mean there isn't a reason she can't do both, I can do potions during the off season and she can do healing during the off season," he said to her.

She smiled a little. "Thats true, but again, Marissa knows what she wants to do. You, on the other hand, do not. So focus. If you want to do potions in the off season, what do you want to do? Make them for healers, or analyze potions for the ministry?"

He smiled a little. "They're some of my favorite people in the world," He said as he landed, and helped her off. "So we'll take the floo network from here." He said, heading into the floo station and buying floo for them. "Alright, come on." He said, waiting for her to get in with him.

Marissa smiled a little as she walked with him and stood next to him holding onto his arm, she'd only traveled this way a couple of times. "LEad the way,"

He nodded,"Nothing government," he said shaking his head, "Too much work,"

She nodded as she looked down the list. "You could help create medicinal potions for St. Mungos, or for companies to sell them." She suggested, crossing some off the list.

He said his hometown and closed his eyes, waiting until they stopped moving. "Alright, come on." He said, coming out of the fireplace and heading out of the store. He waved at the shopowner who waved back familiarly, before stepping outside and turning to her. "Alright, from here its only 10 minutes of flying."

He nodded,"I could do that, it's actually what I'm good at," he said to her smiling a little, "So what should I take as an extra?"

She nodded a little and smiled,"I'm a little nervous - what if they don't like me?"

She looked at the list and shrugged. "In the Quidditch season, you can play and practice. During off season you can work as a potioneer for St. Mungos, or a company, and just make the potions and sell them off. I'd say do both, that way you won't be stuck making strictly medicinal potions. Joke companies need polyjuice, students need felicius felix, and teenage girls need love potions. You could sell to any and all, provided you're good at it."

He shook his head. "They'll love you. I don't bring people home so... they'll be nice." He smiled at her softly, climbing back onto his broom and beginning to fly towards his house.

He nodded a little, "True, but I don't think I'd be selling love potions, quite savage if you ask me,"

She nodded a little, "Alright, I hope so,"

"I agree, but there is market for it, and quite a bit of it. Scary stuff, really." She murmured, shaking her head and sending her book back to the shelf. "Then have I done it? I've helped you decide what you want to do?"

He flew for a bit before heading toward an open field, and landing his broom. "This is it," He said softly, smiling but watching to see her reaction. It wasn't much, but it was home.

"Is that Minseok?" A voice sounded from inside. "It is! Minseok's home!"

Two little girls came running out of the house, followed by two older women, one clearly older than the other.

"My sisters," He explained, picking up the smaller sister and smiling. "And Aunt."

Marissa smiled a little as she fixed her clothing and looked at them, she wasn't sure what to make of all of this. She knew Minseok had one sister the other two looked too young for school they were obviously younger. She walked next to him and smiled a bit.

"Minseok who is your friend?" The older woman asked.

He nodded,"You have done it,," he smiled as he looked at her and kissed her head.

She sighed a little and used her wand, sending everything back to the shelves. "Good, I'm glad I could help." She murmured, smiling weakly.

He smiled a little at them, looking at Marissa. "This is Marissa, my girlfriend." He explained, before the two little girls gasped and squealed. "Really? A girlfriend? Oooh!"

Marissa smiled a little, "It's nice to meet you," she said gently with a small wave as she looked between all the women - she then noticed that this must be his entire family. Everyone he had, and she knew then that this was why he was the way he was.

He smiled, "Hey whats wrong?" he asked her curiously as he grabbed her waist.

He smiled a little and tickled his youngest sister, Mina who squealed. "Minseok! I made something for your broom!" Minsoo said excitedly, pulling him toward the house. He followed them and smiled at Marissa, pulling her hand to follow. "Mina is 4, Minsoo is 7. And I won't tell you how old Minjae is so she doesn't kill me." He whispered, before narrowly dodging a playful smack on the head from his eldest sister.

She smiled a little sadly and shrugged. "I don't know. Same old, same old." She murmured, hugging him before letting go. "Hungry? Come on, my brothers are downstairs. No doubt wondering what we're doing alone." She murmured.

He smiled a little, "Wait," he said to her pulling her close, "Talk to me, you seem kind of distressed and I don't want you to feel like you have to hold it in,"

She laughed a little as she walked with him, "I wonder what she made you," she said to him smiling a little, "is that what all those trinkets hanging off the handle are?"

He nodded as Minsoo ran to get him the present. "I keep them on my broom for every game, she says they make me fly faster." He smiled a little, as Mina came back with a foil helmet. "And this is the helmet Mina says will keep the bludgers away from me."

She shook her head. "I know you don't like hearing me talk about it, because you wonder what you can do. It's fine. I'm fine. Really," She said, unconvincingly but shook her head again. "I'm fine, come on lets go downstairs."

He looked at her then nodded a little, no matter what she said he was concerned. Sometimes he wondered if he did enough to make her feel good about herself, or if he was lacking in the way of being a good boyfriend. He knew that things weren't easy because of other girls at the school, but sometimes he felt like he just wasn't good enough - like he'd failed her.

Sh smiled a little, "Oh, of course, I imagine any protection is better than none," she told him.

He smiled a little as Mina came up to Minseok and shyly asked if Marissa would like a helmet too. He turned to Marissa and smiled. "Would you like a helmet? They're extremely effective."

She smiled a little in an attempt to be reassuring, before pulling him downstairs. The second they reached the bottom step, her third brother Matthew, and James her oldest brother stepped out, arms crossed. "What were you two doing up in the Study?"

"Studying," She said, crossing her arms back at them. "What are you doing on the steps? Waiting for more opportunities to be nosy?"

Matthew looked at Jongin for a second before turning back to Jazmin. "You're teenagers. We're not sure we trust you yet."

"Very funny, you're still a teenager, Matt. Only two years older, makes you nineteen." She scoffed, shaking her head.

"Of course I would! As a seeker I need all the protection I can get, those blugers really go after me," she told her with an exasperated sigh then smiled, "But I'm sure you could make me one that kept me super safe,"

Jongin smiled a little, everyone always assumed the worst of teenagers and he didn't know why.

He smiled and nodded at Mina who ran to her play table and began making a new hat. Minsoo smiled widely. "I can make her a speed charm for her broom too!"
He watched as his younger sisters ran around, and noticed his aunt and older sister talking in the kitchen. He wondered what they thought, but he knew it could only be good things.

Jazmin pulled Jongin into the kitchen and sat down at the table, where her second brother, David, was making lunch. "Jongin already proved he wasn't bad, so you can stop being skeptical." She murmured, looking at him. "Do you want something to drink?"

"Some water is fine," he said as he looked at her then ran a hand through his hair, "Just point me in the right direction,"

She smiled a little then looked at him, "This is nice," she said to him lightly.

She shook her head. "I got it, it's okay." She smiled a little, standing up to get water for the both of them. "The food should be good since he's cooking it," She added.

He smiled a little. "This is home. It's everything I have." He explained with a shrug. "My aunt raised all of us. She's basically a mother. No doubt she'll want to talk to you later though. Minjae too."
