A door opened up and one of the stage hands peeked their head out. "Ten minutes guys." He said and disappeared. Together, we pushed off the wall and made our way into the building. Marcus pulled the hoodie out from over his heard to reveal a black and dark gray striped tank top that paired nicely with the black, distressed skinny jeans he was wearing. He set the hoodie next to his guitar case and pulled the trap to his sleek, red guitar over his head. "Ready guys?" Marcus asked as he, Ted, and Lance joined their backup vocals/lead guitarist, Erik, at the edge of the stage. At their chorus of yeses, he pulled a pick from his pocket and took the first step toward center stage. "Let's do this." He said quietly before raising a hand, the other on the neck of his guitar. The hand in the care came down to grab the mic stand. "How are we doing tonight?" He asked, receiving a undiscernable answer. Most people just yelled anyway. With a grin he gave Ted the go ahead to start the first song in the set. Three taps of this sticks and Ted started with a slow steady beat the Lance immediately joined in on with bass. Two measures later and Erik came in with a 'soft' chord from his own guitar.
"Clarity, where have you gone?
Charity come back to me
I can't find my way home
Can you show me the way?
Has it been a year?
I can't tell anymore
Days drift by an I'm still without you
Home isn't home anymore
My sun had gone dark
Your room is still here
How could you go and disappear?
Clarity, where have you gone?
Charity come back to me
I can't find my way home
Can you show me the way?"
