    Gabby looked at her phone and was surprised when she saw Marcus's number show up on her phone. Hey she replied to his text then looked at Emily as they sat at the lunch table. Gabby took a bite of her food, wondering if Marcus wanted to hang out with her. Gabby bit her bottom lip lightly as she looked at her phone. She smiled when she saw that Marcus texted her back. She looked at her phone and ran her fingers through her hair as she thought about what to say back to him.

    Marcus was surprised that she had replied so quickly. What's up? Wanna hang later? He sent the text and waited for her reply. His roommate walked through the living room moments later giving Marcus the opportunity to use it and take a quick shower while he waited for a response.

    Gabby stared at her phone and thought about what to say. Not much. Sure what did you have in mind? She sent the text then finished with her food. She went to her next class and kept her phone close for the first time in a long time. Gabby bit her bottom lip lightly as she listened to the teacher. She wondered what Marcus would want to do for the night.

    Marcus stepped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around his waist. He stepped out into the living room and grabbed his cell phone on the way to his room. He sent a reply to Gabby while pulling clothes out of his drawers and getting dressed. How about we go down to the beach? He dressed quickly and ran a brush through his short hair before heading out the door.

    Gabby smiled when she saw that he was asking her to go to the beach, Sure. When did you want to meet? She sent the message then sat in her class. She usually paid attention, but right now Marcus had her attention. It would be nice to get away for a bit and not have to worry about anything.

    Marcus gave a small smile as he made his way to Ted's while reading the text from Gabby. When does your last class end? He sent the text as he pulled up at the house and walked in without knocking. The guys were scattered throughout the house, some with girls he had never seen before.

    Gabby smiled at the text, "in 20 minutes." She texted him. Gabby was glad when her day was over. Gabby got up and walked out of the school. She bit her bottom lip lightly as she made her way to her car. She got in and went to her house then got ready to go with him.
