You Are Loved

Fred chuckled slightly. "I was hoping you'd say that." He said, grinning slightly. He too found it a bit strange to be like this with her, after years of simply being friends transitioning into this would likely feel a bit strange at first, but he didn't pay very much mind to it. "Well, I was hoping we could give us a go? Only if you want to of course..." He watched her closer, hoping to gauge her reaction and determine what her answer would be before she told him.

Charlie's eyes widened at his words before she smiled wider than she had probably ever smiled before, "Of course I do!" She practically yelled at him. She had been waiting so long for this, there was no way she was going to let it pass by, "I've wanted to give us a go for two years now." She stated with a grin as she looked up at him.

Fred grinned widely. "Brilliant. It's settled then." He said. "Is it alright if I kiss you now that we have that settled?" He punctuated his words with a raised eyebrow, though he couldn't keep the smile off of his face. He was beyond happy with how things had panned out that morning. Maybe slightly unexpected, but definitely way better than he ever could have imagined it. He certainly wasn't about to complain.

Charlie grinned and nodded at his words, before pulling him close and kissing him. She couldn't believe that all this was happening. It had felt like ages since she first realized that felt this way towards him, "Well it's about bloody time." George said coming up behind them. Charlie pulled away and looked over with a red face, "George must you always ruin everything?" She asked sarcastically.

Fred was quick to kiss her back, still kind of surprised with how everything had panned out that morning. He was happy though. He'd always wondered if he should make a move on Charlie, but he was always afraid that she wouldn't be interested and that it would just ruin their friendship. Clearly that wasn't the case though. He rolled his eyes when he heard his brother come up behind them. "That was extremely bad timing on your part, Georgie." He said.

Charlie nodded in agreement at Fred's words, "What he said." She replied with a laugh. George always had bad timing, even if Fred and Charlie were having like a moment that was just a stupid friend moment, he always would come in at the worst possible time and ruin it, "I guess that's what twin brothers are for then." George said with a grin.

"More like pain in the arse brothers." Fred mumbled, casting a slight grin in Charlie's direction. He still couldn't believe all of what had happened today, and breakfast wasn't technically even over. They still had the entire rest of the day ahead of them. "You ready for quidditch tryouts later, Charles?" He asked the blonde curiously, knowing that they weren't about to get back to what they'd been doing when Fred showed up for obvious reasons.

Charlie giggled Fred's words before he spoke about Quidditch tryouts. She shrugged and looked up at him, "I'm not sure to be honest. I'm terrified to say the least. But I guess if you consider that ready then sure." She said and gave a small smile towards Fred. With everything that just happened, she wasn't sure if she would be able to focus at tryouts.

"You have nothing to worry about, Charlie. I know that it probably seems easy enough for me to say that to you, but I've seen you play before. You're going to smash it." Fred assured her with a smile. He knew that she was nervous, and it made sense for her to be as such, but he wanted to try to help ease some of that tension and nerves she was likely feeling. He knew that she'd do great, and he just wanted her to see that for herself.

Charlie smiled up at him and nodded, "Thanks Fred." She said with a smile and leaned up and kissed his cheek quickly, earning a groan from George, "Oh great now that you two are together you're going to be all mushy and lovey aren't you?" He asked and frowned, "I mean I wasn't planning on being like that until you said anything." She replied back with a smirk.

Fred couldn't help but grin when she kissed his cheek, chuckling slightly when he heard George groan. Maybe this could even be fun, tormenting his brother with any public displays of affection between him and Charlie. "You should have kept your mouth shut, Georgie. You know how she gets sometimes." He said, chuckling slightly before turning back to the blonde next to him. "I reckon it's about time for class, so I'll see you in Muggle Studies then?"

Charlie smirked at Fred's words before she nodded at George, "That's right." She stated with a grin before she turned back to Fred and nodded once more, "I'll see you there." She stated before smiling and leaning up to kiss him before she walked off toward Defense Against the Dark Arts. She couldn't believe still that it had finally happened with her and Fred.

Fred smiled, kissing her back softly. He watched her walk off down the hall, looking forward to seeing her again later on. This all honestly seemed a bit surreal, he couldn't believe that they were actually giving this whole relationship thing a go. They'd both been so worried about ruining their friendship, unbeknownst to each other, but they were putting that all behind them now and at least trying this out, and he couldn't have been any happier about it.

Charlie walked with Lee towards Muggle Studies, "I can't believe she actually gave you detention." Lee said with a laugh. Charlie rolled her eyes and shook her head, "Really that's what you're shocked about? I think most people were shocked I had the nerve to say that to her face." Charlie replied with a small grin as they walked in the classroom. She sat down at her usual spot and waited for Fred and George. Lee must have seen them before she did because he instantly started yelling for them, "Oi! You're never going to believe what Charlie did in Defense class. It landed her in detention with Umbridge, but boy was it funny." He said to them.

Draco walked towards Potions and sat down at his table where he and Aubree would be sitting for the term. When she walked in, he had to keep from smiling because he knew they were in class now and that meant that they were supposed to hate each other. He noticed that she still looked upset and he wanted to ask her about it, but he knew he couldn't.

Aubree knew that she wasn't acting much like herself today. She was quiet and she knew that it was probably obvious that her mind was elsewhere and that she was at least a little bit upset. She couldn't help it though. She was far too worried about Harry finding out about her and Draco. What if he wasn't the only one who had noticed them sneaking in and out late at night? They needed to keep this a secret, and that meant cutting back on seeing each other outside of school. When she walked into potions that morning, she was equally as quiet, not even a trace of a smile on her face.

If Fred had gotten detention that day, he wouldn't have cared. He was just far too happy with how things had turned out today. He had never pictured he and Charlie actually being together. He'd always thought about it, but had always been afraid to act on it. And now he had, and he was over the moon about it. When he spotted her walking down the hall towards the Muggle Studies classroom with Lee, he couldn't help grinning. And then Lee was telling him and George about how she'd managed to get detention with Umbridge. "What did you do to pissy off Toady?" He asked, chuckling slightly.

Charlie laughed at Fred's words before smiling and nodding, "Just that. I called her a toad. She was going on and on about how most of the classes here were pointless and we weren't being taught the proper things. I told her it was ridiculous that we aren't using magic. She told me to name one class here that would come in handy out in the real world. I said configuration. She asked me why. And I told her so I could turn her back into the toad she originally was and it wouldn't poke out every now and then." She explained with a proud smile.

Draco looked over at Aubree when she sat next to him and frowned at the fact that she was unusually quiet and that she seemed really upset. He looked up at Snape as they got their task for the day before he started to work on it with Aubree, hoping they would finish first again so he could talk to her about what was going on. He would give her looks while they worked on their task, but she didn't seem to be taking any notice. Draco didn't like that he didn't know what was going on with her.

Aubree was just as quiet in potions as she had been earlier on in the day. When she would normally send taunting comments Draco's way, she simply just went about her business, wanting to make sure that they complete the task that Snape had given them for that day. She didn't even notice the worried glances her boyfriend would send her way every so often. "Well done, Mr. Malfoy, Ms. Delacroix. You both are free to go." Snape said after he'd tested out their position. Aubree nodded wordlessly, gathered her things, and exited the classroom.

Fred couldn't help laughing at her words. "I'm glad that you said it. I'm surprised that one of us didn't say it to her already." He said, grinning slightly. He wasn't at all surprised that this was the reason why Charlie had received a detention with Umbridge. "What do you reckon she'll have you do?" He asked her curiously. He knew that none of them were at all strangers to receiving to detentions this early on in the term. And the fact that this was Charlie's second detention wasn't surprising to him either. He'd probably rack some more in himself soon enough. It was only a matter of time.

Charlie shrugged, "Probably write a billion times what a terrible person I am." She said with a laugh before she shrugged again, "I honestly have no idea, and I don't even care. It was so worth it." She laughed. She wasn't at all shocked she had received detention again within a matter of days. She was prone to getting detention. She was just surprised that it wasn't with Fred or George.

Draco sighed once they finished the task and he gathered his things before walking out of the class with Aubree. He waited until they were a safe distance away and that nobody would hear them before he took Aubree's arm in his hand, "What's wrong with you? You've been quiet and looking upset all day. Are you okay?" He asked curiously.
