Katie nodded. "Yeah... thanks." she said and then tossed her food out. "I'm gonna lay in bed for a while."s he said and rubbed her eyes then headed back to her room. Katie played down with a book just flipping through the pages.

Reece nodded and went back to his radio, flicking through channels. He couldn't reach anyone, he turned it off and walked to Katie's room, "how you feeling?" he asked softly

Katie looked up as Reece walked in. "You didn't knock." she said and bit her lip mostly irritated with how un-irritated she was. Katie sat up and sighed. "I'm worried about your parents." she said and bit her lip. "W-Will you sit with me?"

Reece looked at her, "yea me too," he said softly. He moved over to her bed and sat down. He put his arm around her, "I'm sure they're fine," he said lightly

Katie sighed and laid her head on his shoulder and closed her eyes. "I hope your right." she said and sighed. She was glad he was here. She couldn't do this alone. She heard a crack from outside and she jumped and whimpered then turned looking out the window. "The tree fell down."

Recce nodded, "yea the wind is picking up," he said lightly. He went to the window, and looked outside, "maybe when the wind calms down we should try get reception up on the hill." he said

Katie frowned. "Well till then maybe we should find a room with no windows and hole up for the night until everything calms down.

Reede looked at her and nodded, "alright that sounds like a good idea," he said. He thought for a moment, "the games room should do fine," he said lightly

Katie nodded and sighed. "Let's get everything we need." she said and grabbed her pillow and her sleeping bag.

Reece nodded softly and packed up some things, taking them to the games room. He watched her carefully, she seemed worried

Katie didn't like this storm anymore. She just wanted to feel safe again. She got her things and some food and water into the game room and laid down hugging her pillow.

Reece watched her as he set up his stuff to sleep. He moved around the room searching for some light

"Did we grab the lantern?" she asked softly hearing him rustling there in the dark.

Reece found a lantern and switched it on, "yea its here," he said lightly. He moved over to her and sat down next to her her, he put his arm around her, "you feeling okay?" he asked

Katie smiled as it light up. She sighed and watched him come over to her. She laid her head on his shoulder. "Yeah I guess so. It's just that I can feel something is wrong. The storm shouldn't be this bad." she said and closed her eyes.

Reece nodded lightly, 'It'll pass in time," he said lightly. He pulled her close, and kissed her cheek lightly, 'it'll be fine," he whispered

Katie looked at Reece and nodded. "I hope so." she said and sighed listening to it ranging outside. Even here in a windowless room she could hear it.

Reece nodded lightly, and flicked through a book he'd grabbed. He hummed softly

Katie sighed and closed her eyes thankful that Reece hummed drowning out the storm just a little and the vibrations moving from his body through hers made her feel safe and like she was secured in a hug. After a long while he stopped and she stared. "Hey... why did you stop?" she whispered and looked up at him. She realized he was probably tired of humming and she bit her lip. "Do you sing Reece?"
