Dreaming of a White Christmas

Steve smiled at her as they took and drove through the city. “A small quaint place I found long ago. Great food and not a lot of people around. That way we can spend more alone time together.” He smiled over at Evelyn as he turned onto the road that led out of the city.

Shay glanced up at Thor as she placed her hand to his cheek smiling. Just to hear his randomness talk that he spoke melted her. She smiled at him once more, “I’m glad you’re safe.” She whispered to him as he removed her hand from his cheek. “Come on in.” She said moving to let him come in.

Evelyn smiled, "you're so sweet, you didn't have to go all out on me you know." She grinned his hand and squeezed it gently. She'd have to give something in return just because she wanted to.

Thor kissed the top of her head, "of course I'm safe, I had to meet with my people and father nothing serious" he said whIle following her inside.

Steve smiled at Evelyn. "I wanted too though." He assured her and smiled.

Shay smiled at Thor and nodded. She was just glad he was back.

Evelyn smiled, "well thanks..." She stared at her hands then back up, "so..."

He wondered why Shay had worried so much about him, "you are all right?"

Steve pulled up at the place and put the vehicle into park. He glanced over at Evelyn and smiled, "Is something wrong?" He asked her staring at her a second.

Shay looked at Thor and nodded, "'I'm fine." She assured him with a smile. "I just... I couldn't help to worry about you. I don't know why. But I just couldn't." She said sitting down.

Evelyn shook her head, "no I'm just happy to be spending time with you" She leaned over and planted a kiss on his cheek.

Thor shrugged his shoulders and followed her, "no need to worry I am capable of taking care of myself and you if I must. I am not weak believe ,e"

Steve smiled at her as he nodded. "As am I." He told her and got out. He walked around and opened the door for her helping her out and smiled. Holding her hand in his he walked inside the small cafe and walked over to an empty table pulling the chair out for Evelyn.

Shay looked at him and nodded her head. She bit her lip lightly and sat on the sofa. She felt like she'd struck a nerve of his or something by worrying about him. She let a soft sigh escape her lips, "So what's Asgard like?" She asked.

Evelyn walked into theeach cafe and took a seat in front of him. "So tell me, what are you doing next weekend? Because I was thinking g that we could go camping or something "

Thor looked at Shay, "it's a beautiful, it's hard to explain you would have to see it yourself," not that he would take care. They frown upon having mortals in Asgard.

Steve smiled at her and nodded, "That actually sounds fun and relaxing." He admitted to her.

Shay nodded her head and smiled, "I bet it is beautiful." She smiled at him as she took and lent back into her sofa.

Evelyn grinned, "great my parents own this cabin we can camp out there it'll be fun, and it'll just be the two of us oh I can invite Shay too"

Thor looked at Shay and nodded, "it's very beautiful, I'll bring some images next time ..."

Bruce nodded his head, "Well Thor is back. So it might do the two of them some good to be alone as well." Bruce smiled at Evelyn. "Now I can't wait for this." Bruce smiled at her.

Shay nodded her head and smiled, "That sounds great." She replied to him. "Are you hungry?" She asked him.

Evelyn smiled at Steve, "we should tell them then it'll be fun. " Evelyn nodded, I can't wait either."

Thor looked at Shay and grinned, "I do enjoy MidgardIan food, quite delicious, those poptarts.." He grinned.

Steve nodded his head to Evelyn and smiled at her, "I agree. After our date we can swing by Shay's and let them know." Steve smiled at her.

Shay giggled at Thor. "Ok." She smiled as she got up and got him some poptarts. She put them in the toaster and smiled at him as they finished she took and handed him the poptarts, "There you go." She smiled.

Evelyn nodded, "great, now back to our date." She held Steve's hand squeezing it gently.

Thor watched Shay, and took a bite aof poptarts when she handed him one. "Many thanks "

Steve chuckled at Evelyn. He held to her hand and smiled at her. "This is really great." He said before leaning across the table and kissing her lips lightly.

Shay smiled at Thor and nodded, "Most welcome." She replied getting him some coffee along with herself some too.

Evelyn was caught by surprise when Steve kissed her, it was short and soft but she felt something. Her cheeks grew pink as she looked at him. "Um..."

Thor watched Shay as she got up to get coffee, he couldn't help but check her out. After all helse was a man and he had desires.

Steve smiled seeing her cheeks turn pink. "You're cute when your cheeks are turning pink." He grinned seeing the waiter bring their food out. He lent back into his seat and smiled at her.

Shay turned bringing the coffee back and smiled at Thor, "Just the way you like it." She said remembering from the night of her party.

Evelyn giggled, "well thanks, it's your fault you keep making me blush with your words or actions" She teased, she looked at her food and smiled."looks good"

Thor grinned "many thanks. May I ask what your plans for today are?" He wanted to spend some more time with Shay.

Steve smiled nodding his head. "Yea it does." He said as he took and began eating his food and smiled as he did so. He knew in his heart he had finally found the right one this time. And nothing would destroy it.

Shay smiled, "Nothing honestly." She said sitting beside of him sipping her coffee.
