Travis shrugged. "There really isn't too much about me. I lived in the city for my whole life. You know the whole born and raised thing. It might even get to the point that I will die here," he joked. "I'm not all that exciting. I'm more interested in you." He fell into step with her. He glanced around, on edge of something jumping out at them. He shoved his hands in his front pocket, trying to appear innocent. He knew that he was a big guy, and having scars and tattoos didn't help with making him less threatening. Sometimes, it helped, and sometimes it didn't.
"So tell me about you," he said. "What are you like? What do you do?" He glared at a guy who was leaned against the building next to them. It was just a homeless men that hung around this area. Usually, they were harmless, but every now and then, one of them will get a not-so-bright idea when it came to get some money. He kept himself between Claire and the homeless person, not wanting to chance anything. He promised to walk her home and protect her on the way there. He wasn't going to break it because he figured the homeless wouldn't get the bright idea.

Alexa gave him a look when he made the movie reference. She loved movies and was always trying to get her hands on a new one. She spent more time in her home theater or in the library than anywhere else. Looking at him, she figured that she might as well have him walk with her home. It's not like she knew the area, and besides, she barely knew how to protect herself. Her brother had been trying to get her to take a self-defense class, but she has always been busy with school and homework that she didn't know how she could manage it. Alexa kept close to Orlando, thinking it was the safest thing that she could do. Besides, he looked like he could take anything on if something so much as looked at him or her wrong.
Alexa shrugged, not sure if she wanted to tell him why she had gone the back route. It wasn't necessarily that bad of a reason, but she felt like it was stupid and made her a bit of a coward. "Uh, well, it's kind of stupid and a bit embarrassing," she admitted. "I was with a few of my friends at the book store when my ex-boyfriend walked in. I didn't want to him to see me or talk to me, so I kind of rushed out and went the back ways. I thought that if I went the long way around, he wouldn't follow me. Then I took too many turns and got lost. Then I lost of track of time." Alexa looked at the sidewalk afraid that she would look like an idiot. She sure felt like one at the moment especially after saying the story aloud.
