Loving you is hard

    Alexa smiled at Orlando. "A little bit of sugar and a drop of creamer," she answered as she followed him into his kitchen. His place was nice. She would have enjoyed living in a place this size. It wasn't too big nor was it too small. It would have been nice to have lived with someone she loved, but she doubted that Orlando was like that. He didn't come off as a guy who was into something serious. "You have a wonderful kitchen," she commented.

    Travis smiled at her. "Hey," he greeted. He pulled away from the curb. He turned off her road and headed to the older part of town. He glanced over at her. "Did you have a good night?" He asked. He couldn't help but wonder if she had enjoyed his company last night and wasn't just comfortable that he walked her home.

  • @ Achilles;
    Orlando nodded and made her coffee before sliding the mug across the table to Alexa. He sat down and handed her a fork and knife for her food. "Eat. I never actually cook so this is special." He teased, a bite full of eggs on his fork as he ate them. Orlando watched Alexa for a few minutes. His eyes just scanning over her, while he thought. He didn't want to seem like a creep so he moved his eyes down to his plate. Orlando finished his food fairly quickly, tossing the plastic plate into the sink and looking at Alexa again. "Not to be too weird. But you're gorgeous."

    Claire smiled as she looked across at Travis. He looked good this morning. "Yea, for the most part. Just went home and watched TV with my sister Alexa." She said. She didn't plan on telling Travis about her little breakdown due to PTSD. Or her past relationship for that matter. Not that she disliked or didn't trust him. She was conditioned by her father and mother that that was a private matter and she shouldn't tell people, especially other Gus because they wouldn't want to be with her. She pushed those thoughts away as she looked around as he drove. "What about you mr tough guy?" She teased.

    Alexa blushed, looking down at her plate. She was nervous when guys found her attractive, making her unsure on how to respond to those comments. She sometimes found it hard to believe coming from some guys. She took a sip of her coffee. "Well, you're handsome," she replied. She gave him a sweet smile. Before going back to eating the breakfast he made for her.

    Travis smiled at her and shrugged. "It was alright. I went and crashed at a friends," he answered. It wasn't a lie but it wasn't the whole truth. He parked in front of the old cafe. His mother had used to work here and he always came by once a week to eat there. "Well, we are here," he announced.
