The next morning...

Katie woke up before Jim this time. She went and showered before walking back out to their bedroom. She walked over to him, and kissed him to wake him up. "Oh Commissioner, time to wake up." She said softly.

Jim rolled over not wanting to wake up, pulling the sheets over his head like a child. He was being playful something he usually wasn't. "I've got the day off, let me sleep on woman" he chuckled.

Katie laughed a little, liking this side of him. She dropped her towel walking over to her dresser, pulling out a light pink bra and panties set. She looked over to him, seeing Jim still under the covers. She smirked as she slipped on some yoga pants, but not a shirt. She walked back over to the bed. "You can sleep in." She said softly as she slipped back into bed and got under the covers with him. She looked to him and smirked, pulling herself closer to him.

Jim grinned, watching Katie get under the covers, "don't tell Barbara about this, not that she wouldn't belive it. We use to do this kinda thing when she was little. She's all grown up now and doesn't need me" he chuckled. Jim kissed the top of Katie's head, "I've meant to tell you, we've been invited to a charity ball at Wayne Manor. You remember Bruce right?"

Katie smiled as he kissed the top of her head. She looked to him and smirked. "The charity ball...of course he throws the charity ball when I'm seven months pregnant. Now I've got to find a dress..." She looked to him. "I can find a dress though." She spoke softly with a smile.

Jim chuckled, "well, this way you get to meet his girlfriend Ella, she's seven months pregnant too, I'm sure she's having fun looking for a dress too" he chuckled.

Katie looked to him. "Bruce's girlfriend is seven months pregnant as well. That's wonderful. I won't be the only one pregnant there." She looked to him and smiled. "I'll have to get in contact with her." She said softly.

Jim nodded, "I've met her once, she seems like a nice woman. She's a little younger than Bruce but nice. "He kissed the top of her hand. Jim nodded, "I'm sure you two will get along great."

Katie looked to him. "Just a little younger than Bruce. Like how much?" She asked out of curiousity. She rubbed her belly as she felt the baby kick. "Easy little one."

Jim sat up and rubbed Katie's belly, "she's Barbara's age, she's twenty five. I hold no judgement, if he's happy with this woman that's what matters. " he smiled watching her belly.

Katie nodded. "Oh okay. That's not bad. Well you can't really judge him, Jim I'm 31 years old." She laughed lightly. She smiled as he watched her belly.

Jim shrugged, "you're the one who hit on me first" he teased. "In only ten years older than you, but yeah it's basically the same thing which is why I didn't say anything."

(What about if Bruce and Katie are the same age which could be 31 and Jim is 20 years older than them making him 51.)

Katie laughed. "Ten years...Jim you're a little more than 10 years older than me." She smiled and kissed him. "You're my old man." She teased as she looked to him. "Well I can't wait to meet them."

Jim looked at her, "yeah okay twenty, is there a problem?" He rolled his eyes, "yes because that makes me feel so much better." He yawned, "i guess we should get up and get our chores done."

Katie laughed and giggled a little. "Hey you should feel good about yourself. You snagged a woman 20 years younger than you in a heartbeat." She smirked, staying in the bed. "But daddy I don't wanna do chores." She fake whined as she buried herself in the covers and pillows again.

Jim got out of the bed and shook his head, "all right then, you stay in bed and I'll go clean up then shower. I'll be back in a couple of hours I've got to pick up my suit and take care of some work related things."

Katie looked to him. "Hey I was only kidding." She said as she got up and walked over to him. She wrapped her arms around him and smiled. "Jim, I thought you were off today...and you've got to take care of some work related things..." She looked to him.
