Nick smiled, "What about History?" He suggested. History was his favorite. "What are you guys going over now?" He asked him. He knew a lot about history so he knew that he could get her to pass this class. He smiled as he opened her book and looked over it.

Gabby shrugged, "I was just bored." She said, laughing. She smiled as she looked at her phone then thought about how everyone else's phone would be filled with pictures of their boyfriend and she couldn't do that. She looked at Emily when she said she was going to bed then went up with her and went to bed. She waited for Emily to fall asleep then she left the room without waking her up. She walked into Clay's room and smiled, seeing him watching tv. She climbed into his bed and got under the blankets with him. She snuggled against him and kissed him softly. "Thanks for my gift." She whispered as she laced her fingers with his.

"Right now, we're going over the medieval period," Kaycee told him with a small shrug. "It's really boring because the teacher talks in a monotone voice." It was difficult to be interested in learning when the teacher's voice came close to putting her to sleep.

Clay watched her, though he gave her hand a gentle squeeze when he heard her words. "You don't have to thank me," he assured her quietly, "I got it for you because I wanted to. It's not something to thank me for." He just wanted her happy, after all.

Nick smirked, "what game of thrones." He said, laughing. "Just kidding don't do that." He said as he looked over the book. "Well what if i make up a time line for you to study and then you can go over and learn the events faster?" He suggested.

Gabby smiled, "I know but i just feel like i should." She said as she kissed him again. She looked at him in the glow of the tv, glad that she had him. "I'm sorry about what Em said." She said, shaking her head. She snuggled him and rested her head on his chest.

"Are you suggesting I watch a bunch of sex scenes, Nick?" Kaycee asked, almost teasingly, though she didn't say much further on the subject. Still, she nodded to his suggestion. "Yeah, that might help. Can you make sure it's detailed?" she asked, figuring it might help more in the end.

Clay shifted, wrapping his arms around her as he drew her close, though he shook his head and sighed. "She's just trying to look out for you," he told her before he shrugged. "You're important to her, so I can't blame her when she knows me better than anyone else does."

Nick smiled, "Of course not." He teased. He nodded when she asked him to make it detailed, "Yea i can do that for you." He said as he began to make one. "Once again make sure you go over this everyday." He said as he looked at her.

Gabby looked at him, "I know, but i know you won't hurt me like that." She said. She ran her fingers over his chest. She trusted him and she knew that he liked her a lot. She knew it wasn't often that he let someone in like he was letting her in.

Kaycee smiled slightly as she watched him, though she was fairly grateful that he was helping her. "I'll keep that in mind," she promised quietly before she dropped her gaze to the timeline he was making. "Though you may have to remind me every now and then." Because she was sure Ryan would distract her any chance he got and she'd forget about it.

"How do you know that?" Clay asked with an arched brow as he eyed her. "My sister, the person who knows me better than anybody, just warned you away from me. So how can you be so sure that I won't hurt you?" Because even he wasn't sure he wouldn't hurt her, even though he didn't want to hurt her at all, ever.

Nick smiled, "I will be sure to remind you." He said as he began to write a few more things down. "Alright so moving onto french." He said as he rubbed the back of his neck. "I will try my best to help you." He said as he took a sip of his water. He smiled and looked at her, "What do you know?" He asked.

Gabby sat up and looked at him, "Because i trust you and i just know you would try your best not to hurt me." She said as she ran her fingers through his short hair. "It's not gonna really help if i don't believe in you." She said, laughing softly.

"Absolutely nothing," Kaycee said with a bitter laugh. "French just isn't for me. I wanted to take German, but they stopped offering it this year." She pouted slightly and huffed as she leaned back, her arms crossed over her chest. "It's not fair."

Clay watched her for a moment, though he felt a little relieved to hear her words. Still, his sister's concerns didn't sit well with him. "If Em ever finds out about us, she's going to be beyond upset," he said quietly, "She'll probably feel betrayed, too."

Nick nodded, "Alright let's start with the basics." He said. He began to teacher her a few words and after an hour they stopped. "Damn i hope you remember that." He said, laughing as he leaned back against his chair. He was happy to help her even if it was hard for her.

Gabby stared at her, "Yea i'm not sure how we should tell her." she said, shaking her head. "I just...i feel so bad about lying to her." She whispered. She looked at him, "But i want you." She said as she kissed him softly. She was glad she was with him.

Kaycee had tried to memorize the words as best as she could, though it honestly made her head hurt. Still, she offered a small smile over towards Nick and she nodded as she rested her head on his desk. "Thanks for helping me, Nick," she told him quietly, "It really means a lot."

Clay nodded, as he felt bad about it, too. He didn't like lying to Emily, especially when his sister was so kind and trusting. But, he felt like they didn't have a choice. If that told her, they'd have to choose between her or their relationship. "You have me," he assured her quietly regardless of his thoughts. "We're okay."

Nick smiled, "I will help you with anything Kaycee you know that." He said as he went back to doing his homework. "All you have to do is ask." He said as he wrote down the answer to the problem. He knew she would never choose him over his asshole brother and it hurt him.

Gabby smiled, "Thanks Clay." She said as she hugged him. She closed her eyes and fell asleep on him. Gabby woke up the next morning and made sure to sneak out to the bathroom before she went to Emily's room. She walked in seeing Emily just waking up. "Morning sleepy head." She teased her as she started to find something to wear.

"In that case," Kaycee hummed out quietly as she kept her attention on him. "Can I take a nap on your bed while you do your homework?" She arched a brow with curiosity, though part of her wanted to just spend time with Nick. She was tired from studying with him, though, and she didn't want to distract him. (Okay, she wanted to distract him a little, but she knew it wasn't quite fair, so she ignored the thought.)

Emily yawned as she shifted to sit up, though she watched her friend with confusion. "Did you just come into the bedroom?" she asked, tilting her head. It wouldn't be so odd if it wasn't for the fact that Gabby was still in her pajamas. She knew Gabby usually got dressed as soon as she woke up, so there wouldn't have been a reason for her to come into the room with her pajamas on.

Nick nodded, "Sure you can do that." He said. He watched as she laid on his bed then he began to work on his homework. He bit his bottom lip lightly, knowing that she was on his bed just made him excited. He sighed as he leaned back against his chair.

Gabby looked at her and nodded, "Yea i had to use the bathroom." She said as she got dressed She smiled at her friend, "So what are you going to do today?" She asked her. She really wanted to spend time with Clay, but she knew they couldn't do that. She sighed as she sat at Emily's vanity table and started on her make up. She had put the necklace Clay got her on, but she hid it under her shirt.

Kaycee offered a grin in response and moved to climb onto the bed. She slipped under the blanket and rested her head on one of the pillows. For a few moments, she watched him work on his homework, though it wasn't long before she drifted off into a light sleep.

"I don't know," Emily said honestly as she leaned back against her headboard and watched her friend. "Jake's supposed to be busy with his family today, so I don't really have anything to do." She pouted slightly, knowing that this was usually how their school breaks went anyways.

Nick turned to see if Kaycee was asleep and smiled as he watched her. She looked to happy to be relaxing. He bit his bottom lip lightly as he thought about how badly he wanted her. He finished his homework then started to put his stuff away.

Gabby thought for a moment, "We could go shopping." She said, smiling. "Shopping makes everything better." She said as she put her lipstick on. "I mean if you want to. I wouldn't want to force you." She teased, laughing softly. Gabby didn't want to leave her friend alone.

Kaycee's sleep was interrupted when she heard Nick putting his things away. Blinking tiredly, she peered over at him. "Nick," she called when she realized it looked like he was done. "Come lie down with me? Please?"

"Shopping, huh?" Emily asked with a smile, though she nodded slightly to the suggestion after a moment. "Sure. We might catch some things on sale, too." If they were lucky, that is.

Nick stared at her, "Sure." He said as he moved over to her. He laid down with her and put his arm around her. He smiled as he buried his face in her neck and ran his hand over her side lightly. He loved when she decided to give him attention.

Gabby smiled, "Well of course." She said as she got up and grabbed her purse. "I shall wait for you to get ready." She said as she walked downstairs. She smiled as she walked downstairs, seeing Clay. "Morning." She said as she leaned against the kitchen counter.

Kaycee smiled at the small victory and she curled up to him, though she shuddered at the feeling of his hand along her side. "That's going to make it hard to sleep," she murmured out loud, though she had meant to keep it to herself. She was tired, she tried to convince herself that was why it felt nice.

Clay looked over at her from his spot at the table as he ate a bowl of cereal. "Morning," he told her with a small nod, though he looked over her for a moment. "Is Em awake?" He hoped not; he wanted to spend what time he could with her and their time was limited with his sister around.

Nick chuckled, "Alright i will keep my hands to myself." He said as he closed his eyes. He slowly feel asleep next to her. He woke up a half an hour later and sighed as he looked up at the ceiling. He looked over at Kaycee and smiled at her.

Gabby smiled, "She is getting ready to go shopping." She said as she walked over to him. She looked around them and then leaned down and kissed him, grabbing his cheeks. She pulled away from him, "I'm sorry, but Jake is busy today and she wanted to do something." She said. She felt bad for not spending time with Clay and she didn't want him to get bored of her.

A part of Kaycee, a part she was very reluctant to admit to having, felt a little disappointed with the lack of touching. Again, she blamed it on her exhaustion - and, in hopes of proving it, she allowed herself to drift back off to sleep. She was grateful for the sleep this time.

The camping trip had been Emily's idea and, honestly, both she and Clay doubted Gabby would be up for it, but she had agreed. And Jake had agreed without a problem, too. Because of the plan, they were now on their way to the area they planned to camp at.
