Ella smiled snd looked up at the waiter smiling politely telling him what she wanted. She thanked him as he left, she turned her attention to her boss. "Ah, awkward silence. I'm so familiar with it" she laughed softly.

Bruce couldn't help but chuckle a little. There was something about her. Just in the first few hours of her being with him, working with him, Bruce found her rather good company. "Well let's not let the awkward silence take too much of our time." He grinned. "So, Ella, tell me something about you." He said leaning back in his seat.

Ella was just a little awkward but that was to be expected being around such a handsome and charming man did that to her. She bit her lip and looked at Bruce before speaking, "well, I'm into art, so I like painting, drawing and all of that, sometimes I model for other artists that's fun.. i have a twin sister her name is Ellie and she's crazy beautiful" she grinned. "She's the pretty one of the two of us, I'm the artsy one,"

"Interesting. An artsy girl." He said aloud as he made a mental note to himself. He just smiled listening to her go on about her sister and all. "Well I can't imagine you're sister being more beautiful than you." He calmly said, a little shocked that he just told her that, but at the same time was speaking nothing but the truth with her.

He put on another charming smile across his face as he looked to her from across the table. Yep, this was definitely going to be interesting now at work.

Ella blushed at his comment, that was flattering that he thought she was beautiful. "Yeah, I'm rather creative, maybe I'll show you my work sometime, I've got a large portfolio at home," She said brightly.

Ella could feel her new boss just smile at her, she looked up smiled back he was just so handsome.

Bruce nodded. "I'd like. Be able to see your hard work." He smiled. When the waiter came with their food, he leaned back in his seat once more. "This looks so good." He watched her for a moment, and waited for her food to be placed in front of her before he began eating.

"Mmm..." He smiled as he started eating. "This is delicious."

Ella smiled, "maybe on a day off, if you're not too busy." She looked at the food in front of her and grinned. "This looks delicious thank you " She said to the waiter. Ella took a bite of her food and ate it, "yeah its really good"

Ella looked at Bruce with a genuine smile, "thank you for lunch, I'll have to bring you something tomorrow for your generosity"

Bruce smiled at her with another charming grin. "I would love to see you work some time." He stated as he went on with eating his food. Looking to her, he couldn't help but smirk to himself as she enjoyed her own food. When he heard her say something about bringing something for him tomorrow, he shook his head. "You don't have to do it. This was me simply saying welcome to the team." He said looking to her.

Ella'smiled first day was going well and this lunch was delicious, "sure, but I have to warn you.. some of my paintings have nudity that's apparently kinda my thing" She laughed. A blush creeping to her cheeks, "I know but I want to how about brownies, home made? "

Bruce nodded, intrigued by this young woman in front of him. "And that is only part of the art process, so it's completely fine. It's pure beauty in itself." He grinned, seeing the blush appear on her cheeks. He rose an eyebrow when she asked him about homemade brownies. "Brownies...homemade brownies...I love homemade brownies. They are definitely a weakness of mine." He smiled.

Ella smiled, "well, I don't know if seeing my naked body is art but um.." She blushed even more as she spoke of it. She nodded, "brownies are my specialty so I'll bring some tomorrow. .l"

Once more Bruce couldn't help but smirk at her blushing. She was such a sweet girl, and getting the chance to talk with her and get it know her with rather interesting. "Then I can't wait to taste them." He said with a smirk in regards to the brownie conversation. He looked to her, saying nothing else for a minute. How did they click so fast? What was it about her that drew himself, an older man, to her? Making a mental note to himself, Bruce went on with eating till he was done.

Ella didn't want to continued blushing but talking about her naked art made her selfconcious something she normally wasn't, Ella smiled widely? "They're good, so soft and fudgy, anyway. Thank you again for the sushi," Ella felt this connection with Bruce but didn't know where t came from. They just met that day.

Bruce nodded. "Of course. I'm glad you enjoyed the sushi. It was a good choice in food." He stated as he motioned the waiter for the bill. He thanked the waiter when he brought the bill. He placed his card in and handed it to the waiter, waiting for him to bring it back. He then looked to Ella again and smiled.

Ella was thankful her boss was such a nice guy, hopefully this internship would be better than her last. She already knew it was better, she watched him sign the receipt and stand up, "back to work" she chuckled. The rest of the day was busy and she had done a lot. Now it was time to go home, "I'll see you tomorrow, Mr. Wayne!" She waved.

When the end of the day took place, Bruce packed up his belongings, glad that the busy work day had finally ended. He looked to Ella and smiled. "I'll see you tomorrow, Miss Carter." He grinned as he stood from his desk.

Ella had a busy week with working her part time job at a retail store and then interning at Wayne enterprises it had just tired her out. Mr. Wayne did like the brownies though and that made her happy, at the end of the work week she sighed happily, "first good week I think, and .." She smiled pulling out another batch of brownies. "You've mentioned your butler Alfred really liked them too? So I made you both some more"

Bruce smiled looking at the batch of brownies she was handing him. "Oh he enjoyed these, and will be truly delighted to have more." He said cheerful. Looking to her as he took the brownies, Bruce kept a charming smile spread across his face. "You were wonderful on your first week. I truly think you'll make a good assistant." He noted as he looked to her.

Ella smiled widely, "it was my pleasure, I like it here everyone's been kind" she told him. She hoped she had made a good impression, gathering her things she looked at her boss, "I guess I'll be seeing you Monday? Unless you need me to come in this weekend or something I'm?"

Bruce shook his head. "No, enjoy your weekend off...you deserve it." He smiled as he gathered his own things as well. He looked to her once everything was gathered of his. "Well..shall we be leaving the office now?" He grinned as he guided her out of the office. "So what are you plans this weekend?" He asked.
