Bruce sighed as he sat in the hospital cafe drinking coffee. He couldn't believe how stupid he was with not talking to Ella first about the whole God parent think. He couldn't understand why he wasn't thinking about her in all of this. "It'll pass." He told himself as he sipped his coffee. "You have to be better at this Bruce." He thought to himself. He finished his coffee and then started up to the room. He was hoping Ella would want to see him now.

"I want the sweet and smokey ribs." She said softly as she watched him knee down next to her. "I love you too." She smiled as she put a hand on her round belly. She pulled out her phone and ordered the food, knowing what he would want and all. She then had them deliver it to the house. Once she was off the phone, Katie put her phone down and looked back to him. "Jim I swear I'm going to pop." She mumbled.

Ella had some more visitors including Dick, Jason, Tim and Stephanie. She watched them leave after awhile and was just sitting there eating crappy hospital food. She looked up when she saw Bruce walk in, she was still so angry at him.

Jim rubbed Katie's belly as he grabbed his wallet from his back pocket. He kissed her softly on the top of her belly. "Do you think you need to go to the hospital now?"

Bruce sighed when he walked into the room. He knew that Ella was still upset at him and she had every right to be. "Good Mornkng." He said softly. He went to the chair and Sat down saying nothing else. He knew he needed to give her some time to just cool down.

Katie shook her head. "No I just feel so big." She said softly. "This kid grew some on the last trimester." She laughed softly. She looked to him and kissed him softly. "I'm officially going on maternity leave." She knew he'd be happy to hear that.

Ella sighed closing her eyes, "good morning," was the only thing she said to him. She knew that Bruce was still knew at this whole thing but she figured he'd be more thoughtful about it than he was. "I know you're not an expert on relationships and I understand that it just feels like you're not even trying. "

Jim kissed her hands, "we'll see the baby soon enough don't you worry" he listened as she talked about maternity leave and he smiled. "I'm glad because that'll put me more at ease."

Bruce looked to her. He sighed feeling like a failure. "Ella I'm trying." He said. "I just wasn't thinking. I thought Jim and Katie would be perfect in my eyes but I don't think that you'd have someone else I mind." He stated. "But saying I'm not trying is a rather big statement." He stated, leaving it as that, not wanting to argue with her. He got up from the chair and stood by the window. He took a deep breath in and out, not wanting to argue with Ella or make her anymore upset.

Katie laughed lightly. "I figured it would." She said softly. She kissed him once more as she placed a hand of his on her swollen belly. "The food will be here in about 20 minutes." She whispered. She tugged on his shirt as she kissed him once again, this time gently sucking on his bottom lip. "Now you can be completely at ease Commissioner." She whispers.

Ella looked over at Bruce, "well, how come you make me feel like my opinions don't matter?" She wiped some of the tears that were spilling from her face. "I didn't mean you weren't trying I just.. never mind" she covered herself with the covers. Sometimes she felt that maybe he was better off with someone his own age.

Jim smiled, "good I'm starving, I'll go get your favorite juice unless you want lemonade or something.." he stood up and chuckled, "I am completely at ease how are you feeling about the baby coming soon? Any names?"

Bruce sighed softly. He didn't say anything else still, just let the room be in silence. He felt like sometimes the two of them were on way different sides. He never wanted her to think that her opinions didn't matter because they always did. "I'm going to go see the twins." He said before leaving the room. This was a wonderful start to a new chapter of their lives....he felt this was stupid for them arguing and wished it would just go away.

Katie smiled. "I'll actually take some sweet tea." She said as she sat there. She then looked to him when he asked about names. "Lucas Ryder for a boy." She said with a smile. "Alice Marie for a girl." She spoke as she carefully got up. "I'm going upstairs to change." She said with a small smile. She waddled upstairs and changed. She came back down in a black button down Victoria Secret PJ top that had matching black stretchy PJ shorts. Even for being nine months, she still looked just as attractive.

Ella looked up to see Bruce leave the room moments later she burst into tears. He was making her feel so awful and she didn't know what to do. She had just given birth and she was crying, no tears of joy but of sadness. Maybe he'd be better off without her. That's what he's used to anyway.

Jim nodded, and walked to the kitchen to poor Katie some tea he smiled thinking about the baby. Barbara had stopped a couple of times to see them. He messaged her about the Wayne twins, after all she worked for Bruce himself and was some what friends with Ella. He walked back drink in hand and smiled as Katie made her way back to the living room. "Beautiful as always."

Bruce went to the twins and smiled at the babies. He then thought about Ella and sighed softly. He closed his eyes to fight back a couple of tears. He had to fix things between them. He smiled when the nurse told him that he could take the twins up to the room. They were going to be coming home later and he was very happy about this. He walked with both twins in his arms and went back to the room. He looked to Ella when he walked in and just smiled sincerely to her.

Katie smiled and walked over to him. "I'm glad you think that." She said as she heard the doorbell ring. The food was here. She walked to the door, opening it. She smiled at the young delivery boy who knew he and always flirted with her. She found it to be funny a little. Here she was nine months pregnant and this young 18 year old was flirting with her. She paid the boy and then closed the door. "I could be the size of a whale and that boy will always flirt with me." She laughed to herself aloud. She then walked into the kitchen with the food. "Honey?"

Ella's eyes were puffy and red from all the crying and at this point she didn't care. She wanted to give up, she was on her side still feeling miserable. She looked up when Bruce came in his smile seemed so fake to her but she wasn't going to mention it. She didn't feel happy so she didn't return the gesture she simply said hi. Everyone she talked to either thought she was a money hungry slut for being with Bruce or that she had no self respect for being in a relationship with someone twice her own age. It bothered her at first but then she just didn't care. Now she was wondering if she made a mistake. Ella felt bad, she did love Bruce but he didn't seem like he had time for her. Maybe with the twins now he'd have to come see her.

Jim was in the kitchen fixing himself a drink and Katie's sweet tea, he looked up and chuckled. "You're a beautiful woman, I'm lucky to have you and every man is going to think so too.. clearly he's just infatuated with you" he grinned. It didn't bother Jim he wasn't the jealous type and he trusted Katie. She was a good woman with a good moral compass. "Here's your drink " he handed her the glass of teA.

Bruce looked to her and walked over to her. "I believe I owe you an apology." He said softly. He put the twins in the crib next to the bed. He put a hand on her back and gently rubbed her back. "I love you and I don't know how you put up with my crazyness." He said. "My selfishness." He added. He leaned down and kissed her cheek. "Do you think you'll be able to forgive me?"

"I don't know why he would be infatuated with me" Katie laughed as she took the tea from him. She kissed his lips and then walked into the kitchen with the food. She put the bag of food on the table. "Come and get it." She laughed lightly. She put a hand on her belly, gently rubbing it. "Oh." She mumbled as she held the lower part of her belly.

Ella was more hurt than angry, she wasn't angry anymore just sad. Ella was just overwhelmed and she didn't know if Bruce would actually stick around. His night life seemed to be more important their relationship. That's how it was starting to feel like, she was simply second best. She looked at him "don't worry about it Bruce, I know how it is." She didn't know how she put up with all of this rust her, sometimes she wished she could just walk away. Would it even bother him? "It's water under the bridge, I'm fine" she said quietly.

Jim chuckled "because you're a beautiful woman that's why, big heart too" he followed her to the kitchen. Jim nodded, "I will I'm hungry, are you okay?" He asked noticing that she was rubbing her belly. He had everything ready if she popped. He wouldn't forget anything he's had children in he past, sure it's been awhile but this wasn't going to be any different.

Bruce didn't think she was truly settled, and he had expected that. "Ella I am another but perfect." He stated. "And I know I need to work on this. This doesn't have to be water under the bridge. I've just got to work on this." He said and sighed. "I'm sorry honestly." He kissed her cheek and sighed. "No one said this was going by to be a walk in the park."

Katie nodded. "Yeah the baby just moved." She said softly as she rubbed her rounded belly. She grabbed her food and placed it on a paper plate. She then sat down at the table and slowly started eating. "I honestly don't think I could get any bigger." She mumbled. She was in such a good mood as she ate, really enjoying the food. "This is perfect!" She exclaimed as she rubbed her belly.

Ella looked at Bruce, "I don't expect t you to be perfect Bruce. I know you're not you don't have to treaT me like a child just because I'm young. I know this isn't a walk in the park" she grabbed his hand. "I'm just exhausted" she squeezed his hand gently.

Jim watched Katie as she sat down to eat and he joined her smiling and nodding. "This is good and you're in such a good mood I like it" he grinned. Jim kissed the side of her head, "I didn't think so either but you're adorable."

"And I don't mean to treat you like a child. I know you're not a child." He said softly. He then leaned down and kissed her hand. "You need to relax." He spoke softly as he rubbed his thumb against her hand. "I love you Ella. I truly do." He spoke softly before kissing the top of her head. "All of this will get better in time." He whispered.

Katie smiled. "If I got any bigger, I literally might pop." She laughed. She then proceeded to eat her food. When she finished, she got up and threw away her trash. After she finished, Katie walked over to him and kissed his cheek. She then stood back up, her belly practically near Jim's face. "Oh I'm such a stuffed momma." She stretched.

Ella nodded, her youth worked against her sometimes and sometimes it made for interesting and fun times. She reached to touch his face, "I love you too Bruce, and the babies" she smiled softly. "I hope so, I don't want to be in a state of crazy forever" she joked.[

Jim watched as his lovely girlfriend walked around throwing away trash and putting dishes in the washer. He chuckled as he watched Katie stand in front of him, her belly in his face he leaned forward and kissed it. "Beautiful mommy you are" he grinned.

Bruce smiled and nodded. "I love you and the babies." He kissed her softly on the lips. "It wouldn't be crazy forever." He said softly. He looked over to their babies and smiled. "Baby I am so proud of you. They are beautiful and you did so great." He grinned.

Katie smiled when he kissed her belly. "Thank you honey." She said as she put a hand on his shoulder. She carefully leaned down and kissed him on the lips. She then stood back up and stretched again, her belly playing peek a boo with her PJ shirt. She grabbed her glass and took a sip of it, finishing it. "Honey this Little Mommy is ready to lay down." She leaned in. "And if you don't mind you could give me a nice little back rub?"

Ella smiled softly, "thanks" she was still tired not as much as earlier though. "So when can we go home? I wanna sleep in my own bed" she chuckled. She hoped it was soon people came and went as they visit but she missed being at home.

Jim smiled, and stood up as she kissed him. He rubbed Katie's belly gently, "okay we can go lie down and I'd love to give you a back rub" he nodded following her upstairs.

Bruce looked to her. "You're supposed to be going home today." He smiled. He was ready for her to be home as well. A little while later, the doctor came in to see how she was doing and to let her know that she was good to go home. The nurse started helping with getting them ready to go home. Bruce helped as well. Once everything was settled, Bruce wheeled Ella and the twins to the car. He then loaded the stuff in before loading up the twins. After the twins were in, Bruce walked over to Ella and kissed her. "Ready baby?" He asked softly.

Katie walked up the stairs and went into their bedroom. She yawned slightly as she sat on the bed. Fixing her pillows and such, Katie slowly laid down. She had a hand on the sod of her belly and was gently rubbing it. She then waited for Jim to come to the bed. She began unbuttoning her PJ top and laid it beside her.

Ella nodded as she waited and watched everyone help we eat dressed and into the wheelchair. She could not wait to get home and take a long bath or shower and just relax, until the babies need her of course. "This will be in the media soon enough" she laughed.she could image the headlines "billionaire philanthropist Bruce Wayne has twins.." or something. She wasn't sure. Either way it was comical. She nodded kissing him back.

Jim followed Katie into their bedroom and hummed softly , as he watched her climb into bed. "So... are you comfortable?" He asked as he started to change his clothes. And climbing into tinned with her.
