Ella breathed softly She placed her belongings in her trunk and drove to Wayne Manor which was a little outside of Gotham but still close enough to be called in the city limits. She pulled up as the gates opened and she drove inside parking her car. This would be an interesting day...

Bruce saw her car pulling into Wayne Manor's drive way. He looked at his butler and smiled. "She's here." He said with a grin. He knew this was going to be an interesting day but he was ready for it. "I can't wait." He said to himself as he walked towards the door. He then opened the door, knowing he was going to need to help her carrying things in.

Ella opened her trunk and began gathering her belongings when she felt a pair of strong hands on her hips, she jumped and laughed, "almost gave me a heart attack, boss." She bit her lip Watching Bruce help her with her stuff, actually all of it in one trip. She chuckled closing the trunk and following him inside.

Bruce smirked and grabbed everything. He looked to her as they walked into the house. "Please call me Bruce." He said with a charming smile. He looked to her once more when he set everything down and winked at her. He then moved a little bit closer to her. "I'm really going to enjoy today...I just feel it." He stated as he ran a hand up and down her arm slowly.

Ella's eyes widen at his sudden change of demeanor this certainly was different. She nodded, "only if you're okay with that.." She looked up and smiled nervously, "so would you like to get started on the food first?"

(Please don't think I just stopped. I was on a little getaway over the weekend, and then work has been kind of busy the last couple of days.)

Bruce just smiled, seeing how Ella was a little nervous. "Food sounds great!" He said with a smile. "What can I do to help?" HE then asked. Most people just assumed since he had Alfred, that he didn't know how to cook, but obviously that was wrong.

Ella smiled brightly at Bruce, he didn't seem like the type to depend on others to do stuff for him. He might be rich but he's definitely not spoiled, she bit her lip, "we can start with an appetizer so we won't go hungry while the entree cooks" She waved at Alfred who was happily watching. "It's so lovely to see you miss.. Master Bruce has been anxious to get started.." Ella smiles nodding, "really? That's sweet.."

Bruce looked to Alfred when he talked and couldn't help but blush a little. He rubbed the back of his neck, smiling at Ella. "I don't know about all of that. But I was pretty glad you were willing to come." He smiled.

Ella smiled, "well, you seemed like you could use the company even if it is just your assistsnt" She chuckled as she began prepping.

(I am so sorry. I've been a little busy.)

Bruce just chuckled and nodded. "You're not just my assistant." He smiled to himself. In the short time that Ella had been at Wayne Enterprise, he felt a close connection between the two of them. He knew he was more than likely stepping over the lines and boundaries, but there was something about her that drew him to her. The smart thing for him was he couldn't tell her that...not now anyway. He watched as she started prepping the food. "How can I help?"

Ella looked at her boss and smixed softly, "really? You see me more than just your assistant? That's nice. Thank you" She began to give instructions on what to wash and cut. While innocently flirting with him, "so do you always invite pretty girls over or is just me?" She giggldd.

Bruce blushed when he realized that she heard what he said about being more than his assistant to him. He listened to her instructions before he started doing what she asked. "I don't invite everyone over. Not anymore." He said softly. "So just you." He said with a charming smile. He moved over to her. "Can I try something?"

Ella nodded, looking at him and walking over and putting the casserole in the oven. She turned to look at Bruce, Ella nodded, "sure, what did you have in mind?"

Bruce smiled and kissed her softly on the lips. He wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her to him. "Mmmm..." he said as he kissed her

Ella blinked taken by surprise, "oh.. hi" She whispered, her face lighting up. She didn't expect that kiss but it was nice. She touched his face.

Bruce chuckled, knowing that he had surprised her with his kiss. It was such a nice thing to be able to do, considering he had been wanting to do that for months now. "Hi..." He grinned as he went in and kissed her again.

Ella was so surprised but enjoyed the kiss, she watched him pull her close to him. She looked at him as he kissed her again. This time Ella didn't hesitate she kissed him back.

Bruce smiled even more into their next kiss when he saw that she wasn't hesitating this time. He finally pulled back and looked to her. "That was nice." He chuckled. "I've been wanting to do that for a while." He whispered as he pressed his lips to her forehead.

Ella looked at Bruce and smiled, "really? Whys that? " She asked teasingly as they look over to their food. She touched Bruce's face
