I Know You

He laughed as the images of his younger self began to flood back. There were some things that he tried not remember, but hey, it was who he had been and what made him who he is. He nodded a long with her, "Right, right... I guess I grew puberty hit me just right."

"You do," he confirmed with s smile. He let his eyes linger at her face for a moment before he cleared his throat to speak again. "More importantly I would like to tell you again how impressed I am with your accomplishments and knowledge." A wider grin spread on his face, "I want to offer you a position on our team."

He smiled at her and nodded, "Of course." He grabbed some papers to begin filling out. "I think you will do just fine and fit in with all of us. But, just as protocol, you are going to be on a ninety-day probationary period..." He shook his head with a smile, "Which really isn't that big of a deal. I promise you I'm not a hard-ass when it comes to things. After your probationary period is up, we'll talk about your permeate salary."

He nodded in agreement and gave her a small wink. "No, no definitely not out of line. We'll make it 'work' related," he laughed as he stood up. He extended his hand to her, the smile still plastered on his face. It seemed like it wouldn't disappear off his face. "The more important question is when can you start?"

He gave her a quick nod of his head, signaling her to go ahead and follow him. He lead her to her office, which would be catty-corner down the hall from his. "This is your office, if there is anything you need, just let me know. Do you want to make a quick round and get acquainted with some of the other employees?"

Chenyeol laughed, "You'll fit in just fine, I promise. Everyone here, for the most part, is pretty laid back and accepting. If you ever need anything there is a lot of people willing to jump in and help you."

Of course he knew she'd do just fine, he had always been the positive one - while she'd dragged herself every time she got a B; he'd praised her. It wasn't unlike him to make her feel good about herself even if she didn't feel she deserved it. "Alright, lets meet everyone then," she was nervous about meeting people in the office, she was a lot of things but a social butterfly wasn't one of them.

Chenyeol took her around to a couple of different places adjacent to her office, making sure to introduce her to the people that she would be having the most contact with. After he had shown her around, he lead her back to her office. He began to speak, but was interrupted by the incessant beeping of his cell phone. He looked down at it, "I'm so sorry, but I have to take this. I'll send Andrea in shortly to help you get started."

Sina gave a small nod as she looked at hm, "Alright, it's fine you have a company to run, I'll see you later," she told him with a smile then looked around the new office she was given and began to organize everything while she waited for the woman to help her get started.
