Evie had already left by the time Ryan woke up. She was at work for her full shift then when home and walked in plopping on the couch with a yawn. Evie grinned as Ryan greeted her as she got home. She turned looking at him. "It was long. I was so tired I really hope I did half the work right." she said and chuckled. He was thinking to would just be respectful to talk to Rebecca first then tell his parents separately. "Rebecca... Can I ask you to join me for a walk?" he asked and kissed his mother's cheek. "Sorry mom but this is really important." he said and then walked out of the house to the garden there. He walked ahead and then stopped at the path he wanted to take until Rebecca showed. He knew she would have some words for him even before she knew what he was about to say.

Ryan smiled as he moved over to her, "Wings sounds good to me." He said. "Why dont you order, then go laid down in the bedroom. I can give you massage if you want." He said, noticing she was sore.

Evie grinned and nodded. "Deal you want buffalo or something else?" she asked. Once she had the order she called the wing place and ordered putting a bottle of wine in the fridge to chill then headed to the bedroom and smiled at Ryan. "I have some lotion in the bathroom or some oil in the nightstand." she said wondering which he would use.

Oliver sighed. "Look Rebecca. I have been awful the last month and I am wrong for that so I am sorry but... I have made a terrible mistake. You are a woman who deserves to be cared for and with the right person you will be the best wife but you are just not for me." he said and paused seeing her look at him with deadly eyes. "What I am trying to say Rebecca is that the wedding is off. I'm not going to marry you our of obligation. I never should have agreed to it. And before you say anything yes Lexi has some to do with it but not the entire reason so don't blame her. I love her Rebecca but I know my father will support me and I don't want to end up in a loveless and honestly a marriage without respect. You don't respect me and I don't respect you, it's a recipe for disaster and it's time I ended it because you wouldn't, or couldn't. Again I am sorry but it is better now than later." he said. "If you do not want to go back inside I understand I am prepared to face my mother alone."

Evie groaned as his hands moved over her skin. It felt so amazing to have all the stress worked out of her body she almost fell asleep. The doorbell rang all to quickly and she sighed. "Alright I guess we should eat but I owe you next time." she said and smiled nearly purring as she stretched out and got up. She pulled on a silky robe and headed out to get the wings smiling. She looked happier, glowing almost. I am sorry for the trouble I know this will cause you and all the waited time you have put into it but I can not marry someone who doesn't respect me and that I do not respect. If nothing else this is important." he said and hoped she would understand at least a little.

Ryan smiled as he watched her get up. He walked out and got himself some wings. He sat down with her and began to eat. He really didn't know what to say to her. He was glad that she was happy now. He took as sip of his drink. "I can honestly say this is the first time i drank wine with wings." He said, laughing softly.

Oliver's mom glared at him, "Are you kidding me!" She snapped, getting up. "You are not ending the engagement!" She yelled at him, getting in his face. She looked at her husband, "Tell him!" She yelled at him. She looked back at Oliver, "So help me god I will leave you with nothing you ungrateful brat!" She yelled. Oliver's dad stood up, "Alright stop." He said, pulling his wife away. "Don't talk to him like that." He said. Marie glared at her husband, "Oh so you are behind this? You need to quit encouraging him. He is ruining his life on some low life whore!" She yelled. She glared at her son, "Get out." She said, frowning, "Get out!" She screamed at him before storming off. Oliver's dad sighed and looked at his son, "Sorry." He said. "Why don't you just go home and let me try to calm her down." He said. He knew that his wife would come around.

Evie smiled. "There are some things people don't put together because it's seen as blurring the lines to much between social classes. I think that is whoha so I do what I want." she said and smiled taking a sip of her wine then taking a bite of her wings. She grinned happy that she could do what she wanted. Oliver didn't flinch until he called Lexi a whore. "Now see here!" he said and his father finally stepped in. He ran a hand through his hair and nodded. "I think that is best." he said and sighed. "Well it is a knock off of wings and beer maybe it's more your style but beer has never really been my favorite." she shrugged. Once she finished her food she cleaned up and then took a shower and headed to Ryan's room once she was ready for bed. She knocked gently and smiled as he opened the door.
