“I think we can make it further than seventy. Eighty or ninety.” She smiled a little. “So we can see our great grand children too.”

He sighed. “I will figure things out. If we have to leave then we will. I will find a way for us to get by,”

He nodded a little,"That would be nice too," he said gently as he thought about it, "To be able to see them, and watch them grow,"

She nodded a little then rolled over to look at him, then bit her bottom lip lightly putting her hand on his leg, "do you have time?" she asked him hopefully - it was bold of her but she wanted him in every way but he was so paitent it drove her mad.

She smiled a little. “Yeah, and I was thinking. When we build our house I’d like to design the inside and paint it. Maybe a few rooms for kids?”

He smiled a little and kissed her softly. “Not in the way you’re thinking. I have to be present for the emperor soon. Later though.”

She kissed him back and whined, "Fine," she murmured against his lips, "But I'm becoming impaitent," she teased him gently pecking his lips softly.

He smiled a little then nodded, "A three bedroom would be plenty, the girls could share a room so could the boys and if we have to add on to the housel ater I'm sure we could,"

“I think that would be nice. With a living area and kitchen as well,” She said as they walked to the temple. “Once we know enough to leave.”

“I know.” He laughed. “But it will be worth it in the end. This meeting is an emergency one so I should be back soon.”

She nodded a little then laid back on the bed, "I'll be waiting then," she murmured as she looked at him, "In misery," she joked.

He smiled a little and nodded, "Is that the norm in your country?" he asked curiously.

“Yeah, Just a sitting area. I can draw it out for you,” She smiled a little. “A place for couches.”

He laughed a little. “You’ll be fine, I promise.” He said, kissing her face. “I’ll be back as soon as I can.”

Lily sighed, things hadn't gone as she had hoped by the time he'd come back the night before she'd ordered dinner and both were too tired to even think of anything but cuddling. She saw the morning was coming as the sun peaked over the horizon then cuddled into his side rubbing his chest unsure of the future.

“The emperor is furious, at Baek Ah for leaving without permission. For abandoning the princess. He thinks Maia tainted his thoughts,” So said softly explaining what had happened at the meeting.

Maia yawned as she went into their room, falling onto the bed and closing her eyes. They Gad been working nonstop on learning what they needed, and it was exhausting her. They hadn’t had much time to themselves since the wedding but she was just happy that she was learning enough to keep them alive in the future.

She sighed lightly then shook her head, "I suppose I will speak with him again then, because this is his fault," she said gently as she looked at him, "If he stopped forcing his sons to do things pertaining to their entire lives they wouldn't want to flee so badly,"

He groaned as he woke, he was more sore than usual but it was becoming more bareable over time, "I will begin breakfast," he said to her lightly.

She shook her head and got back up. “No no, let me. I just cake from cooking class, I can make what I learned,” She smiled a little, going into the kitchen with the fire.

He sighed a little. “What will you say?” He asked softly. “If you go you might have an audience this time, I want you to be warned.”

He smiled a little as he watched her, "Are you sure?" he asked as he looked at her.

"I'll be honest, I don't like lying," she murmured softly as she looked at him, "I'll tell him that he was warned ahead of time that his son wanted to marry the girl he ran off with, but he still refused to grant his son his happiness - and thus it resulted in losing a son. " she murmured, "Playing the blame game is very dangerous but I have more," she murmured lightly."He loved one of his mistresses no? I find it hard to believe man could be such a pig and not love any of the women he has been with,"

“His first mistress became his wife,” He said nodding a little. “His second wife. The second he realizes he could, he made her his wife.”

“Yeah I’m excited. To start using what I’ve been learning,” She smiled a little, adding water to the rice and preparing kimchi for a stew.

"Then he is a hypocrite," she murmured softly, "I will use that as a weakness," she murmured as she sat up then sighed, "I should get ready," she murmured gently as she ran a hand through her semi curly hair.

He smiled a little, "I'm going to be building the shelters for the animals this week with the held of a young boy," he said to her lightly, "Make sure to make neough for him, he looks thin... weak, he needs more food,"

“Of course,” She said, nodding a little. “Where are his parents?” She asked curiously, adding more for him. “Is he even old enough to be building? If he’s thin and weak he shouldn’t be building,” She said to him seriously.

He sighed. “I will be there, should you need any help. Most of my brothers also know, no one was really surprised at Baek Ahs disappearance. But the princess he was to marry is painting Maia as the one at fault.”

"He has to work, this is normal - children begin working at eight to ten years of age," he said to her shrugging a little.

She scoffed, "Women here are so catty," she mumbled as she wet her lips a bit then began to get dressed.

“Catty?” He asked curiously, watching as she dressed herself. “Is this from your native language?”

She shook her head. “That isn’t normal where I’m from, our kids aren’t working until they’re fifteen,” She said softly. “Please bring him to me, I want to feed him and make sure he’s healthy. Is he not eating at home ?”

She nodded a little, "It's like, dramatic and rude all in one but in a very mean way to get their own way," she said to him smiling a little, "You know how cats argue they swat at each other and hold grudges...kinda what it means,"

"He is an orphan of the monastery," he said to her, "I don't know he was appointed to be," he said to her, "how does a son take care of his parents if he isnt' working?"

“They care for their parents when they’re old enough,” She explained softly. “Parents work to support themselves and their kids until their kids can support themselves,” She explained to him.

He noddd a little. “I see. Is that a common phrase?” He asked curiously.

"Where I'm from yeah," she smiled a little as she looked at him, then kissed him softly before sliding her shoes on.

He nodded a little, "Thats interesting," he said lightly, "What do the kids do in the mean time?" he asked her.
