Tennessee bit down on her bottom lip as she adjusted her glasses on the bridge of her nose. She was teaching for the first time after she got her degree and she was extremely nervous. She was really close in age to the students at the high school she would be teaching. She honestly just hoped they wouldn't be able to tell she was twenty three with a bachelors degree in English. The last thing she needed was them not taking her seriously.

Zacky walked into his English class, Jimmy in tow. The two of them shared this class together, which was good for him. He hated when he had classes with no friends. It meant he actually had to focus and try to learn. Or sleep. Sleep was generally better. He picked a seat in the back with Jimmy, hoping this wasn't one of those teachers that made a seating chart. He just wanted to be able to chill in the back with his friend. Was that too much to ask for? He raised an eyebrow when Jimmy pulled a pack of cigarettes out of his pocket. Zacky quickly reached over, snatching them and hiding them under the desk. "Are you crazy? You'll get suspended, dumbass," he hissed quietly.

Tennessee looked up at two boys that walked into her room. She was a bit surprised they were a few minutes early to class, noticing the shorter one hissed at his friend and hid something. She walked over to them, instantly seeing him trying to hide a pack of cigarettes. Tennessee held her hand out expectantly, planning on taking them and the know letting the boys have them back after class. "You two can have them back at the end of class," she stated.

Zacky looked up when the teacher came over, raising his brows. She was gorgeous, and young. Unlike the rest of the teachers in this school. He was definitely attracted to her. He wondered how old she was, because she looked like she was their age. Maybe a little older. But not by much. He blinked, coming back to reality when Jimmy snatched the cigarettes from his hand and gave them to her. Zacky cleared his throat and looked down, shaking his head. At least she didn't send them to the principal's office.

Tennessee casually slid the cigarettes in her pocket before she gave them both a small smile. She walked back up to the front of the classroom and slid the pack in her desk drawer so she didn't crush them. The dark haired woman watched as everyone else filed into the room and waited for the bell to ring before she started teaching. She hoped they couldn't tell she was a bit nervous.

Zacky leaned back in his seat, watching the teacher closely. He could tell she was nervous. It must be her first time ever teaching. He glanced over at Jimmy and then back at the teacher, smirking slightly. He knew what the other boy was thinking about just by the look on his face. Jimmy was undressing her with his eyes. And he figured every other guy in here was doing the same as well. She was hot, there was no denying that.

Tennessee went through class, getting more confident the longer the class went. By the time the bell rang to dismiss the students she knew she could handle everyone in the class, especially the hormonal and horny boys she could tell were eyeing her like a piece of candy. She grabbed the cigarette pack from her desk drawer, waiting until the room was empty of everyone but Jimmy and Zack and handed Jimmy the pack. "Be careful," she stated. "Not all teachers will be as nice."

"Thanks," Zacky muttered. Jimmy walked out, and Zacky glanced back at her before he followed his tall friend out of the classroom. He grunted when Jimmy turned and punched him in the arm. "What was that for?"

"Dude, she's hot," Jimmy said. "I bet you she'll end up sleeping with one of the students. Wanna bet?"

"You're awful," Zacky muttered, shaking his head.

Tennessee was relieved that the rest of her day went over well. Her students seemed to like her and she only had one outburst but considering the clique the boy was in it honestly hadn't shocked her at all.

Zacky stayed back after school ended, wanting to talk to the new teacher. He walked to her classroom and knocked on the door frame before letting himself in. "Hey Ms. Banks," he mumbled, trying not to look at her too much. "I just wanted to say thanks for not getting us in trouble earlier. My friend, Jimmy, he doesn't really give a shit. Sorry, I mean . . . he doesn't really care about things."

Tennessee chuckled when Zack swore and then instantly corrected himself. "It's after school Zack," she stated. "I won't be mad if you're swearing after school."

Zacky looked at her and chuckled. "You're probably the nicest teacher here, you know," he said. "If someone doesn't like you, they must be crazy." He assumed that all her students automatically liked her just because of how nice and cool she was.

Tennessee smiled at Zack, happy he thought she was nice. "How old do you think I am," she asked.

Zacky raised an eyebrow, surprised by her question. "Uh, I don't know," he said. "I would say early twenties. You don't look old at all." He leaned against the wall as he looked her over. "24, maybe?" How old did you even have to be to be able to get your master's degree?

"I'm twenty three," Tennessee stated. "You only need a bachelors in English to teach at most high schools." She was honestly hoping he didn't think any less about her because of that. "Promise you won't go spreading that around," she mumbled. "I don't need everyone acting like I don't know anything because I'm young."

"Why would I spread that around?" Zacky questioned, raising an eyebrow. "I don't gossip. I don't think you're any less smart." He shrugged and smiled at her. "Thanks, again."

"Just promise you two will try to stay out of trouble," Tennessee stated. "I can only do so much before people start thinking I'm playing favorites."

Zacky nodded his head. "We will," he said. "I promise."

Tennessee smiled. She was super happy that Zack was willing to keep her secret.
