Ingrid watched him curiously, frowning when his eyes glazed over, worried he would get scared and panic again. "Holepunch? What are you remembering?" She asked softly, not wanting to startle him. She scooted a bit closer, reaching out to take one of his hands carefully.

Holepunch was lost in his memory, he began shaking lightly. He looked at Ingrid, "how'd they find me, my location was classified," he asked worriedly. He looked behind her, his eyes drawn to a man who was wearing a suit visiting another patient. "Don't let them take me."

Ingrid glanced over at the man visiting another patient, frowning as she turned back to him, squeezing his hand reassuringly. "I won't let them take you.. But I need to know where you are and who 'they' are." She murmured softly, glad that they were getting somewhere, although she was worried that if he panicked too much his memories would disappear again.

Holepunch snapped back to reality, "sorry," he remarked. He smiled softly, "how are you, Ingrid?" It was odd how easily Holepunch switched from state to the next, it was almost like he was used to playing as different people, with different personalities. He looked at Ingrid, is eyes warmer than before, like he was no longer preoccupied.

Ingrid frowned a bit when he suddenly switched from state to state, but smiled when he did. "I'm fine, Holepunch. How are you?" She asked, leaning back a bit and pulling her hand away from his now that he was more stable. "Do you like it here?"

Holepunch shrugged, "I'm good, It's kind of nice here." His eyes looked around the garden, "are we State side?" he asked feeling uncertain of how he had gotten here, last thing he remembered was being caught while on a mission. His hand scratched at his leg softly.

Ingrid nodded, tucking a few strands of hair behind her ear after a gust of wind blew them out of place. "Yes. We're at a military hospital. Where was the last place you remember being?" She asked, fiddling a bit with a loose string on her sweater, watching him intently.

Holepunch smiled softly, "that's good, I remember being caught on a mission," he replied. His eyes watched her fidgeting, and began to pick at his own pants. "It was dark, and cold," he added

Ingrid nodded a bit, watching him quietly. "I'm sorry that happened to you.. Do you remember anything about what the mission was about?" She asked softly, frowning a bit as she tugged her sweater around her a bit tighter.

Holepunch shrugged softly, "I can't remember much about the mission, not even where it was," he noted. He frowned feeling useless, "I'm sorry, I can't be much help being unable to remember anything," he stated. He wasn't used to this feeling of lack of direction, he was more comfortable having a clear outline of purpose.

Ingrid frowned a little, shaking her head. "Oh, no, it's no problem. I have treated patients with less memory than you. And it's a slow process." She smiled a little at him, patting his knee lightly. "If it's alright with you, I'll give you a journal to use to write whatever you can remember in, that way if you remember something when I'm not with you you'll be able to write it down before you forget it."

Holepunch looked at her carefully, "you sure it's alright, I have a feeling a lot of what I did was classified, maybe I shouldn't write it down," he mentioned. He smiled softly, "I wouldn't want to get into trouble," he added.

Ingrid smiled a little, shaking her head. "No, you can write it down. Because I'm your doctor, whatever you say to me or write is confidential still, and I can't tell anyone what you said. And because this is a military facility, we keep everything secured, so you wouldn't get in trouble, I promise." She reassured.

Holepunch nodded softly, "oh alright if you're certain it'll be okay," he said lightly. He took the journal from her carefully, and opened the cover flicking through the empty pages. "What if I don't remember anything, ever, what if my memory never comes back," he said softly

"I'm sure something will come back, and if it doesn't, then we'll work on some of your other mental illnesses, and do our best to get you to a point where you can leave the hospital and rejoin society." Ingrid shrugged a little, watching him.

Holepunch smiled softly, "sounds good, Hopefully I'll get better," he replied. His fingers were picking at his pants, his eyes were watching her closely. "How often do we met?" he asked

"I'm thinking that I'll see you once a day for the first week or so, even if just for a little, to get you used to talking and make sure you're adjusting well to living here. After that though, I'll probably only need to see you two or three times a week." Ingrid smiled, picking at the grass quietly. "But I'm here all week and every third weekend, so you're always welcome to stop by even if we don't have a meeting, whether you want to talk or just need a quiet place to go. Ok?"

Holepunch nodded softly, "okay that sounds good," he replied. He was already feeling a little more at ease talking to her, more so than when she was just watching him. "Will I have to do group things?" he asked

Ingrid shook her head, smoothing out a wrinkle in her shirt. "Not if you don't want to. On the weekends they generally do group activities, like watching movies or playing games and stuff like that. Whenever I host an event I take one of the vans to bring people to a local bookshop and then an ice cream place." She smiled, checking her watch to make sure she wasn't running late for any meetings.

Holepunch nodded softly, "I would prefer not to do group things for now," he mentioned. He looked at her sweetly, "it was nice to meet you," he said.
