Shaun nodded lightly, "I like that," he said softly. He walked off towards the carrots bringing them back to her. "No I'm alright, I don't eat snacks often," he said lightly
Shaun looked over the aisles, "Dessert sounds good, but I'm not sure what I want," he said lightly. He reached for her hand beginning to feel overwhelmed.
Ingrid took his hand, squeezing it with a reassuring smile. "We're almost done, sweety. Maybe ice cream? What's your favorite flavor?" she asked, stopping by the freezer case with the ice cream in it.
Ingrid nodded, grabbing a pint of chocolate for him and a pint of cookie dough for her before heading to the checkout, smiling politely at the cashier as they bagged her groceries. Once everything was paid for she grabbed two of the three bags, looking at Shaun. "Would you mind carrying that one? I have the heavier ones."
Shaun nodded lightly, and picked up the bag of groceries. "Sure, I can take the heavy ones if you want," he mentioned to her. He looked around at the people, trying to stay calm.
Ingrid nodded, trading bags with him so he was carrying the heavier ones before leading him out of the store and outside. "You did really well, Sean. This was fun." She smiled, patting his arm reassuringly. "Now we get to go home and cook dinner."
Ingrid unlocked the door once they were home and headed inside to the kitchen to set the bags down. Once there she smiled at him, pressing a gentle kiss to his lips. "Would you like to help with dinner? Or would you rather go relax a bit."
Ingrid smiled, laughing a little. "At least let me put away the groceries first, so they dont spoil." She pressed a kiss to his lips before pulling away to put everything that needed to go into the fridge away. Once done she moved back to the living room with him, sliding off her shoes as she settled down on the couch with a sigh.
Shaun chuckled and nodded, letting go of her hand. He headed to the lounge, "Okay," he called. He sat down looking out the window, getting lost in a thought, as he scratched at his leg again.
Ingrid nodded a little, smiling gently. "You'll remember more with time. You've already remembered so much, and tomorrow when I go into work the paperwork the army promised to send me might be there."
Shaun smiled softly, "I hope so, I can't handle not knowing things," he said softly. He looked at her, "so how are we going to deal with things tomorrow?" he asked her lightly.
Ingrid shrugged a little. "I plan on bringing you back to the hospital, and going about the day as usual.. I dont think it's smart to let anyone know about us, because it's not professional and I could get fired. But I believe that once the military sends me what info they have on you, I'll be able to discharge you from the hospital in no time."
Ingrid smiled, snuggling into his side. "I dont know if that's true, but I think it would be hard for another doctor there to gain your trust." She pressed a kiss to his cheek as she rested her head against his shoulder.
