Competing Royalty

After class, Victoria made her way up to her art room. It was a nice way to calm down and think after everything that had happened that day. Plus it had been a while since she actually painted something out. Maybe she could work on a new project to keep her relaxed.

Sitting down at her table, Victoria relaxed back as she picked up a paintbrush. It wasn't long until she was pressing paint to the cavas, now knowing what she wanted to make. Art had always been a good outlet for her. And she needed something to also calm the nervousness of her father finding out about the dance lessons.

I only noticed, because I was just watching Corpse Bride xD)

Victor was called into the kitchen to help carry flour bags and carry stuff into the kitchen since he had finished up with his duties in the stables. He worked hard making sure they had everything. He saw one of the maids drop something and went over pulling her away before something fell on her. He knew she was human but whatever was going to fall on her would have seriously injured her. "Forgive me." He murmured down at her. "I didn't want you to get harmed." He took his hands off of her bowing before cleaning the mess up and carrying more stuff inside. Soon, he took his shirt off as he worked knowing that it was hot in the kitchens and wanted to make sure they had enough help since they seemed to be understaffed at the moment.

Before dinner was called, Victoria received a request from her father to meet him in the office. He was very upset, having heard what had happened with dance lessons this morning. The teacher had contacted him, concerned that Victoria wasn't taking proper care of the vampire, rather sure that he had not been punished. It was 30 Minutes into the conversation before her father sent someone off to bring Victor into the room.

By the time that Victor was brought in, her father was beyond furious. And Victoria was shifting in her chair uncomfortably, rubbing at her eyes as she got herself to stop crying. As Victor came in, Victoria turned her head, looking at the wall closest to her.

Victor was helping the kitchen maids carry things in since they looked so underfed that he thought they might drop. In the middle of carrying a box he was seized, whatever he was carrying dropping to the floor. He didn't resist after he realized who had grabbed him and went with them willingly knowing that Victoria's father had found out. He knew she should have just punished him. He was shoved to the floor and he sat on his knees looking at the floor to keep himself respectful and to also keep his face in the shadows so the king would not find out who he was. He made sure his hair was covering his face as well.
