Lady, It's Only You.

Beatrice had worked hard on her finals, sitting in the coffee shop she studied every day of the year thus she spent more money than she should on coffee. It wasn't until she was broke that she realized she either needed to find a cheaper drink or find a new study place. However, finding a new drink could cost her more if she didn't take to one right away - and a new study place with the same ambiance would be extremely hard. "Thank you," she spoke to the barista as she set her coffee down in front of her.

"Its curtesy of the man just there," the younger girl spoke with a smile and Beatrice lifted her gaze from her to the man on the far side of the cafe. Surely she'd been mistaken. Zhang Yixing would not have bought her a coffee - it seemed all too surreal but none the less she smiled and looked at her. "Oh cool, thanks," she murmured then looked to him offering a small nod of appreciation. "Thank you," she spoke to him from her spot.

She walked down the street, her coat on with her hood up as she went into the museum she needed to visit for her assignment. It was cold out, and she was still not used to the weather. She walked inside, heading to the back where the exhibit she needed to write about was. She set her bag down, and began reading the sayings on the walls. It was a culture class, so she was reading for an essay she would write later that night. She saw someone out of the corner of her eye and jumped, not expecting to see Kim Jongdae standing there. She wasn't sure how to react, but she also didn't want to bother him. If he was here, he was here for alone time, and she didn't want to be that fan. So she bowed, and tried to focus on her assignment rather than him.

He smiled a little and nodded before looking back at his work. It was extremely dangerous for him to be seen looking at her, so he focused on his song, before looking to see where she had gone to sit. She was beautiful, and he would have loved to speak to her, but he was being watched, and he couldn't risk anything.

Beatrice continued to work on her homework and furrowed her brow as she thought on the ending paragraph on her homework, it had been a struggle to write. Part of her didn't even want to finish the assignment but she had to. Her Eastern Asian Civilizations course was kicking her ass, but she'd be lying if she said she had a bad grade. Having a B+ wasn't too bad but she knew she could do better, but all the essay questions on the tests seemed ot be what threw her off. She sipped her coffee then typed out the last paragraph before going through to edit everything properly. Her eyes glanced up every so often to look at him, it took all her will to not have her face turn red - she wasn't even wearing much makeup that day. Her normal full face abandoned in exchange for a light CC cream, eyebrows, mascara, and lip tint.

Jongdae was in this class just to finish his degree - he only had two more semesters left but with the schedule he had it was a lot harder to keep up with his studies but he'd managed so far. He saw someone out of the corner of his eye and he discreetly looked - she was different than anyone here, foreign. The only one in the entire class, he glanced at her then smiled a little.

She noticed him smile at her, and she realized she shouldn't ignore him. She looked around before smiling at him. Her Korean wasn't the best, but it was good enough to get around. "Hi," She said, not sure if he wanted to be left alone or not.

He continued writing before standing to get a cardboard cup insulator for his coffee. He grabbed it and sat back down at his table, wondering if what he was thinking was a good idea. It was risky, but he wasn't sure if he would get a chance like this again.

He smiled at her, "Hi, I'm jongdae," he said to her bowing a little, he hadn't really made friends outside the industry so it was nice to meet someone who wasn't screaming at him.

Beatrice sat back in her chair and brushed some hair out of her eyes, "There, almost done," she murmured softly.

She smiled. "I'm Jazmin," She said, before looking around. "Its nice to meet you."

He went up to the barista and ordered her another coffee, writing his number on the cup and sliding the coffee insulator over it. Hopefully she saw it, and hopefull it worked. He left the coffee with the barista before packing up his computer and leaving the cafe.

Beatrice looked up when she saw the barista set another drink in front ofh er as she finished her second one of the day, "Did he... again?" she asked and she smiled and nodded. "I think he left you a message as well," She looked at the cup and removed the cup cozy then saw the phone number and flushed a little. Holy crap - he'd given her his phone number, part of her wanted to curl up and cry but she started laughing instead. It started as bubbles of giggles then she exploded. How was she so lucky?"

He smiled, "I've never seen you here before are you new?" he asked her curiously.

He headed toward the studio, wanting to record the song while it was still fresh in his mind. He hoped he heard from her, but hopefully he'd find out sometime soon.

She nodded a little. "Yes, I'm here for a class. To write an essay on the exhibit," She explained. "What are you doing here?" She asked curiously.

"I am finishing up the required number of courses, one two more semesters after this and I'll be done," he said to her excitedly as he thought about it. Not much longer and he could soley focus on exo.

When she was finished with studying she closed her laptop and entered his number into her phone then texted him, 'Are you sure you meant to give your number to me? - Coffee Shop Girl'

I sure hope so, you are the one who was studying by the window right? He said, setting his things down and sitting in the studio.

"That sounds great, you're probably extremely busy. I can leave you to it, if you'd rather that. I don't want to bother you." She smiled a little.

I am - My name is Beatrice, I'm a student here in Seoul, she sent to him smiling a little as she climbed onto the bus then sat with her things in her lap.

"No, this class is easy and boring, please talk to me," he laughed a little.

She laughed and nodded. "Well, alright then." She said, sitting down on the bench in the room. "But is it okay to? I know you have to be careful of your image, and I completely understand."

He smiled, transferring the lyrics so he could have them on his phone in the studio. I'm Yixing. Nice to meet you, Beatrice. How long are you in Seoul?

He nodded,"I'm allowed to talk to people," he said to her with a smile - "Besides isn't that what school is for?"

'I am here for a full year till I graduate - then hopefully I will have a job here, she sent to him then smiled a bit as she got off at her stop.

She nodded. "That's true," She said, sitting down. "So, are you promoting? Or are you able to study during breaks?"

What do you want to do when you graduate? He sent to her.

'I want to work as a corperate level translator, she sent back to him and walked into her apartment.

"I generally take my school work online but when I get to get out of the dorm I take the chance," he admitted as he looked at her. "we're on break for a while now,"

"That's nice that you get to do it on breaks, but it probably makes you never get a chance for a break really." She said to him. "But you enjoy it? Performing, I mean. You're really talented."

That's impressive. Well, your Korean is really good, so I'm sure you'll be able to do it. He sent as he got ready to record his background track.

He nodded,"Thank you," he smiled a little, "But it's my life, if I could do it forever I would,"

'Thanks, I've been studying it for four and a half years so I'm pretty fluent - next I want to learn Chinese,' Beatrice was excited to have someone to talk to - but she couldn't believe who it was she was talking to.

"I believe it, you have an amazing voice. The best in exo, no doubt about it. Best dancer too." She laughed a little.

Chinese? How much do you know? He asked curiously, sending it back.

He laughed and covered his mouth, "Oh, thats funny - Jongin and Yixing are the best dancers but I have improved," he said to her.

Only conversational at this point but I'd like to learn more, it's incredibly useful especially with some of my courses being taught in China she sent back to him,.
