Bernadette blushed brightly as she leaned against him, shyly looking away as she leaned her head against his hand. "I think you exaggerate.. I'm not.. I'm not worth what you believe.." She murmured, burying her face in the crook of his neck.

Hades pressed some small kisses to her face, pulling her close. "You should be there for your parents, yes, but for everyone who has wanted to court you... I don't think you should be there for that."

"I know I am not exaggerating. Bernadette why don't you see how wonderful you are?" Ares asked her as he rubbed her back. "I can't believe that I have found someone as wonderful as you, my love." He pressed kissed her head.

Persephone moved her arms to the side of his chest as she held to him. She looked up at Hades with gentle eyes as she thought about what he said. "Okay." She whispered to him. "Though only if you are sure that you'll be okay by yourself."

"You didn't think so highly of me when we first met.. How do I know this is all real? That you won't just... leave for someone else.. someone better.." Bernadette murmured softly, squeezing her eyes shut as she pressed her face into his chest, trying to keep herself calm.

Hades nodded, pressing a kiss to her lips as his nicest robes materialized on him. "I'll be fine." He promised, kissing her once more before stepping back. "Are you ready?"

"I actually did have a small crush on you when we first met." Ares smiled at her. "I wanted to tell you. But you didn't trust me at all. And I didn't want you to feel like you had to like be back in order to live..." He rubbed the back of his neck. "And Bernadette I am never going to find someone that I love more. I would have to have gone crazy to want to leave you."

Persphone let out a small nervous sigh before nodding to him. Her nicest robes then appeared on her. "I am ready." Persephone said softly before taking his hand and following him to the throne room. She called down her parents to talk to them. Though luckily they were never the quickest.

Bernadette blushed brightly as she listened to him speak, gripping his robes tightly in her hands as she hid her face. She believed him of coruse, but couldn't find the words to express how happy she felt, and how in love she was with him.

Hades pressed a small kiss to her lips as they entered the throne room, moving away from her to take a seat in his throne, waiting for her parents to arrive. He fidgeted with his robes nervously, hoping that her parents wouldn't be too upset with them.

Ares looked down at Bernadette, trying to figure out if she was happy or not. Though by the look on her face, he assumed that she was. He reached down, picking her up bridal style before walking through the house to the back. Once he got to the small pond in the back, he sat down on one of the benches and held Bernadette close to his body. Ares then looked out with at the pond with a smile.

Persephone sat down on the edge of Hades throne as she waited for her parents to come down. They always took a while. Though when thunder rang through the palace, she was quick to get onto her feet and fold her hands in front of her. A few moments later, Zeus and Demeter appeared in front of them. Persephone looked over at Hades before stepping down to greet her parents. She hugged Demeter and Zeus before stepping back besides Hades.

"How are you doing Sweetheart?" Demeter asked as she moved the flower Persephone had given her in her hair. "Why did you call us down here?"

Persephone smiled brightly at them both. "I am wonderful mother." She then looked to Hades, hoping he would tell them.

Bernadette wrapped her arms around his neck tightly as she snuggled close, the outside air causing goosebumps to form over her pale skin. She rested her head against his shoulder as she looked around the garden, smiling contently as she leaned her head back to look up at the stars.

Hades stood slowly once Zeus and Demeter arrived, nodding his head politely to the other gods. When Persephone looked to him he offered her a small, nervous smile, hesitantly reaching out to take her hand. "Brother, sister.. I wish to marry Persephone."

Ares just sat out there, holding Bernadette close for a while. It was nice to just relax with her and enjoy the nature around them. Though after a while he slowly sat up with Bernadette still in his arms. He then walked up to their room, kissing her forehead and then her lips lightly as he did so. "I think it is time for bed.' He whispered.

Demeter looked like she had been struck by lightening at Hades words. She immediately flew into a fury. "You will not be marrying my daughter." She said. "She is not to marry. No one is good enough for her, especially not you." Demeter let out a scoff, "Imagine that! The God of Death and the Goddess of Life? Married! Don't be so ridiculous Hades." She moved to walk up to Persephone, but Zeus quickly grabbed Demeter and stopped her.

Zeus looked over at Persephone, smiling at her gently. "Demeter, calm down. Hades will be a great match for her. He is actually the best match that Persephone could have had. Think about it. He is one of the three Gods. He controls his own realm." He then looked to his daughter again. "Do you want this?"

Persephone smiled up at Hades warmly, her eyes filled with love. She then looked to her father and nodded. "Yes, I love him."

Bernadette nodded sleepily as he brought her to their room, rubbing her eyes tiredly. "Yes.. I think so.. Can you help me with my nightgown?" She asked, looking up at him.

Hades' smile faltered as he looked at Demeter as she spoke, releasing Persephone's hand as he took a step away from her. He had always been sensitive to what the other gods thought of him, especially his siblings, so Demeter's words struck him deeply, making him once again think over whether or not she was good enough for him.

He relaxed at Zeus' words, though, looking gratefully at his brother, although he still looked nervous and hesitant.

Ares smiled down at her before giving Bernadette a small nod. He ran his hands down her before gently pulling off her robes. A nightgown then materialized in his hand and Ares helped her pull it on. The robe he had gotten her was a rich purple and was made from silk.

Zeus smiled at both of them. "Well you have my blessing." He said before walking up to Persephone and hugging her. Though, in all reality, this was something Zeus knew he could not stop. After all Hades was the best suitor. Also Demeter did not approve of anyone, and Zeus wanted to give Persephone a chance to have a little more freedom than she did with Demeter. Besides he did not want to start a war over this. Demeter would just have to get over it. She couldn't stop it from happening. They both were greater Gods than she.

Persephone frowned deeply when Hades stepped away from her. For a moment she moved her hadn't to reach back out to him but quickly dropped it back to her side again. They knew her mother would react like this, so why was Hades acting like that? She hugged Zeus tightly, whispering a small thank you to him. Though she let out a small sigh before walking up to her mother, taking her hand gently. "I want to show you something." She said softly before walking out of the throne room with Demeter.

Bernadette's eyes widened as she looked at the robe, smiling a little as she admired it. "It's beautiful, Ares.." She looked up at him tiredly, pressing a small kiss to his cheek before taking a seat on their bed.

Hades smiled a bit as he watched his brother and Persephone, glancing over at Demeter to see if she was still angry. Once Persephone left with Demeter, he looked to his brother, bowing his head a bit in gratitude. "Thank you, Zeus.."

"I am glad that you like it." Ares smiled softly at her before moving onto the bed next to her. His clothes materialized slowly into his pjs. He kissed her forehead gently before moving to lay down on the bed. Once Bernadette had also laid down, he pulled her into his body, wrapping his arms around her.

Zeus watched Persephone and Demeter leave together before he moved his attention back to Hades. "Of course. It would be foolish to reject both of your wishes. Besides you are a good match for her." He gave him a pointed look. "Though do be careful when you tell the others. They will probably feel the way Demeter does.

Bernadette hummed happily once he pulled her into his arms, snuggling close with a content sigh. She was soon sound asleep, face tucked into his chest with her arms wrapped loosely around him.

Hades nodded, sighing a bit as his brother warned him about the others. "I'll come to Olympus soon to tell the others.. Give them time to process it before Persephone leaves the Underworld." He hoped that telling everyone was the correct decision, afraid he might start a war or something.

Ares smiled widely as Bernadette fell asleep in his arms. He quickly did the same, wanting to gain some sleep and rest after a long day. Though once morning came, Ares was awake and he looked down at his fiancee with a satisfied look on his face.

Zeus let out a hum of agreement before giving Hades a nod. "That is probably for the best. Though, I hope you do realize, that Demeter will still expect her daughter to stay with her during the summer." He watched Hades closely, wanting to see how he would react to that news. While he was sure that Hades and Persephone still wanted to stay together, it was probably best to let Demeter at least one thing that she wanted. "It might be safer for her there too once the news breaks out."

Bernadette was still asleep by the time Ares woke, breath warm against his skin. Her eyes fluttered open as he shifted a little, blinking sleepily with a soft groan as she stretched.

Hades nodded a little. While he wished he could keep Persephone with him forever, it was best he let Demeter have her for half of the year. "You're right.. It's better she be with Demeter. After all, if any of the other gods come down here to fight with me over it, I'd rather her not see me get beat up." He murmured, looking over at his brother.

Ares smiled softly down at her before moving his head into the bend of her neck. Gently, he pressed a couple of kisses against her warm skin before moving up to press one against her lips. "Good Morning darling." He mumbled into her. Bernadette may still be tired, but Ares was wide awake and ready to spend time with her.

Zeus looked at Hades with slight surprise but said nothing about his brother's words. He had been half expecting Hades to put up some disagreement about Persephone staying at Olympus for a spell. Though, it was the logical option and Hades tended to be a creature of logic. But the information about getting beaten up. It was quite likely it would happen despite Hades' strength. Though, Persephone would still learn about it even if she did not witness its occurrence. "Well, Demeter and I should probably head off now. Besides I have a feeling Demeter has blown a fuse by now so it would be best to force her to calm down."

Bernadette smiled tiredly as she giggled at his kisses, stretching as she wrapped her arms around him. "Good morning, Ares.." She whispered, pressing a gentle kiss to his lips as she snuggled close.

Hades chuckled a little, thinking of how Demeter was probably furious with him. "Yes, I think it's best if you two leave now.. Persephone and I should probably talk over everything." Hades bowed politely to Zeus before leaving his throne room to find Persephone, heading to the garden first.

Ares then moved his arms around her waist before slowly pulling her on top of him as he turned on his back. Once in that position, Ares kissed her head and her nose. "I am glad that we woke up in a good mood this morning." He grinned before kissing her again on the lips. "I was worried that I accidentally woke you up too early."

Persephone was laying on a stone bench in the garden. Her head was turned to the side as she looked out at the hedges to the maze in front of her. One arm was laying on her stomach while the other was extended out over the side. Her fingers barely touched the group and flowers started to grown around her hand and up her arm. Though as he moved closer, it was easier to see that Persephone's large frown. It was clear that whatever happened with Demeter was not preferable.

Bernadette laughed faintly, nuzzling her nose into his cheek as she played with his hair. "It's not that early... And you didn't wake me up. I woke myself up." She smiled, pressing a small kiss to his lips.

Hades smiled faintly when he saw Persephone, although as he got closer his lips turned into as small frown. He stood a little ways away from the bench, not wanting to ruin the flowers that were growing on it. "Persephone? Is everything alright?" He asked softly, voice filled with concern.

Ares let out a small chuckle. "I suppose that you are right about those things." He said. Leaning his head back against the pillow, his arms grew tighter around Bernadette. All he really wanted to do was to lay with her for the rest of the day. Though, he did need to head off and do some work. Hopefully, Ares would not be gone as long as yesterday, but he still knew that Bernadette would not be pleased with it either way. "Are you hungry?"

Persephone turned her head up to Hades, letting out a small sigh as she did so. "I suppose everything is fine but my mother was quite displeased with me. Enough to give me a lecture and a threat of punishment when I got home." She extended her arm out to Hades, wanting him to come to her and sit next to her. "How did things with Zeus go?"
