Bernadette smiled happily, snuggling close as she took a deep breath, content with just laying here for the rest of the day. "Not really.. I can make you something if you're hungry though." She lifted her head off his chest to look at him, running her fingers through his hair slowly.

Hades frowned a little, slowly moving to sit next to her. "She's always hated me..." He sighed as he sat, raking his fingers through his hair in frustration. "Maybe... What if she's right, Persephone? What if I'm not good enough for you?" He asked softly, panicking a little at the thought. He had always been insecure, but had managed to hide it from the others, as they rarely saw him. But Demeter had always been the worst, ever since he was a child she had been cruel to him, one of the reasons he was grateful to Zeus for letting him rule the Underworld.

Ares' hand moved to her back as he slowly started to stroke her hair and rubbed her back. "No, not now. Though maybe you can make something for dinner tonight?" Even though he could make any food he wanted appear, Ares did rather like Bernadette's cooking. Knowing that she made it for him just made it all the more better.

Once Hades sat down on the bench, Persephone moved to lay her head on his lap. Though the moment Hades said that he might not be good enough for her, persephone was quick to shake her head. She moved herself into his lap, laying her side against his chest. Gently, she cupped his face with her warm hands and looked him in the eyes. "Demeter is not right. She just doesn't want me with anyone. That has nothing to do with you." Persephone kissed his cheek. "Besides, I know you are right for me. And I love you. So as long as you love me too, then we are perfect for each other."

Bernadette smiled a little, resting her head back against his chest, nodding a bit. "Yeah, that sounds like a good idea." She played with a strand of his hair quietly, pressing a small kiss to his jaw. "Do.. Do you have to leave again today?"

Hades leaned his head into her hands, closing his eyes as he took a breath to regain his composure. "I love you, with all of my heart." He whispered, opening his eyes to look at her.

Ares didn't move but he did look down at her. "I do." He mumbled, knowing that Bernadette was going to be displeased. "Though I should be home sooner than I was yesterday." Hopefully, that would calm her down a bit. Though he wished Bernadette did not worry so much. There was no one else for him but her.

Persephone smiled softly at him. "Then nothing else matters." She kissed his cheek, and then Hades' lips gently. As she pulled away, Persephone pulled Hades into her chest as she wrapped her arms around him in a tight embrace. Then she laid her head on top of his, hoping that with this he would feel better.

Bernadette frowned a little, slowly rolling off of him. "Oh.. You shouldn't let me keep you." She murmured softly. She didn't want him to leave, but knew that she might as well get used to him being gone most of the time.

Hades wrapped his arms around her tightly, keeping her close as he pressed a gentle kiss to her jaw. "I love you, Persephone." He murmured, looking at her with a small smile.

Ares was quick to pull Bernadette back onto him. "I don't have to go yet. I only have a meeting in the afternoon that I need to attend." He then gently buried his face into her neck. It was obvious that Bernadette was upset about him having to leave. And his work was not something that she could come along for. Though, maybe, he needed to find her something that she could do during the day.

Persephone smiled back at him. "I love you too, Hades." She whispered before pressing a light kiss to his lips. Despite knowing how hard all of this was going to be, Persephone knew that it was going to be worth it. They were meant for each other and there was no doubt about that.

Bernadette hummed a little as he pulled her close, fingers running through his hair. "I can try to make you stay again.." She mumbled, hands working their way under his robes to press against his chest.

Hades smiled as he kissed her back, pulling her close. "What did you and your mother talk about..?" He asked after a while, wanting to know.

Ares let out a small chuckle before shaking his head at Bernadette. He loved that she wanted him to be around. And he definitely loved the way that she touched him. But it was in both of their best interests if Ares continued to work. If he stopped doing his job, the Gods would blame it on her. Though for now, he could enjoy their time together. So he moved his hands onto her hips, his hands moving under her robes and up to her chest as he leaned in to kiss her deeply.

Persephone let out a quiet sigh when Hades mentioned her mother. "She was just scolding me the whole time." Persephone whispered gently before pressing her face into his neck. "She is...well furious that we are going to get married. She wants to break it off, take me back home and punish me for being so 'foolish'." Persephone was rather upset with what Demeter had said. But Hades only needed to know the overall idea of her yelling. "But Zeus supports us, and I know others will too." She kissed his jaw lightly.

Bernadette hummed contently as he kissed her, the feeling of his hands on her chest driving her crazy. She tugged his robes off of him as she kissed him lovingly, shifting to straddle his lap.

Hades nodded a little, holding her close. "I won't let her do anything bad to you, Persephone. I promise, I'll keep you safe." He reassured her, pressing a kiss to the top of her head.
