Marc continued to wind down increasingly deserted roads until he was completely in the country, his jaw locked as he began to slow. It wasn't until he pulled up to a large home on the side of a cliff, outside of the city limits that he finally turned around to face her. All the smiles and happiness was completely gone from his expression as he turned the engine off. He slipped the key into his pocket, his eyes trained on Lillian.
"I'm only going to say this once, Lillian. Tonight, and the days to come, can go one way or another. We can either go inside and talk if you're cooperative or I can drag you in by your hair and lock you in the basement. Make a decision, we don't have all day to sit around while you debate, girl," Marc's voice took a hard edge as he leaned toward her. "Now."
