Lillian looked at Marc, hesitating for a moment before slowly moving into his lap. She was concerned that maybe she had misinterpreted where he wanted her to sit. Though once she was on him, it seemed that she had done the correct thing. She took a sip of her drink before setting it down next to his. Lillian leaned against Marc, laying her head on his shoulder as her arms moved around his chest. After all, if Marc wanted her to sit on his lap, that meant he wanted her to be close, right? Besides it was much more comfortable for her this way.
Once it seemed that they were both settled in the position they were in, Lillian moved her head more so onto his shoulder. Her lips were close to his ear and her voice was soft as she started to speak. "There are several days that I wish I could relieve. Though some I know I'll never be able to even closely replicate it." She hummed for a moment while trying to think of which day she should tell him. There were stories that she knew would piss Marc off, and that was not what she wanted.
Her eyes brighten up a bit once Lillian realized what story she should tell him. "Oh, I do have one that is particularly interesting though. This happened about two years ago now. I was in Thailand with my best friend and my boyfriend at the time, for the lantern festival. We even woke up early that day despite the fact that we were going to be out all night too." She let out a small laugh. "In the morning, we headed to a wildlife preserve which was amazing. A guide brought us around in the morning, and we were able to see all of these different animals. Some of them were actually really friendly towards us, though that was because they grew up there for different reasons so they were used to the tour guides. Oh! And they were specialized in elephants, so the specialists allowed us to get up close and we actually got to go on a small elephant ride. It was amazing. And those elephants were so smart. One of them just grabbed my food and started eating it." Lillian smiled brightly. "We wanted to stay but they were closing early for the festival, so the three of us headed out to the town close to where the parade was. We went shopping and got to walk around until it began. Though once it did, we went right up front because we had a special area from my grandfather. Oh the parade was so amazing. The floats and the dancing. Oh and the music...And once the lanterns were pushed into the sky it was almost a bright as a the middle of the day, but so much prettier. We then danced and drank the night away. Oh I think I had to be carried back to the hotel but I don't quite remember that part."
