Never Letting Go

"Are you trying to say I'm lying about a project, right now Hoseok? Are you serious? Do you want to see my syllabus?" She asked in disbelief. "Actually no, I don't even need to show it to you."

He sighed. "Its no big deal, maybe I'll tell her later." He murmured.

"There was a guy I liked all through.. middle school.. through high school - a part of me would give anything to back..and say something anything to let him know how I felt; just don't wait too long, she might not wait around forever," she told him softly.

He shook his head a little,"We hardly ever see each other, and you don't have to show me anything; but we spend more time out of the house than in it," he said to her.

"I wouldn't show it to you anyway, that's ridiculous. We're in class and of course I want to spend more time with you but we do have other responsibilities." She said seriously.

He sighed. "Why didn't you say something? Why don't you say something now? If you're over it."

Charlotte looked at him then sighed as she looked down at her hands, "I can't," she murmured gently, "I'd just make a fool of myself," as much as she wanted to say something - she couldn't, she wasn't over him but her feelings for Hyungwon were still fresh.

He shrugged, "I just don't want us to grow apart," he said to her, "We see each other, eat dinner, we don't even have sex as often anymore,"

"I don't know, kinda think you think something happened between me and Jared and that's not okay." She murmured. "I can't help it that I'm busy, you're busy too. You live in the gym, and I highly doubt all of the time you spend in there you're working out."

He sighed. "I think the same of my situation. Maybe that's just the way it is, can't say anything about it."

"I'm not over him.. the guy I liked in high school - it'd be impossible, Hyungwon showed me I was able to be loved and I... I love him too but, things happen for a reason and I couldn't stand the rejection if the guy didn't feel the same," Charlotte said to him gently.

"Oh right, so now I'm cheating," he said shaking his head, "I go to the gym when you go to work on your project," he told her, "The only other person thats there normally is Shownu, unless you think I'm into guys now there is no way I'm doing anything else,"

"I didn't say you were cheating, I just said I don't think you work out for six hours a day, Hoseok." She said to him. "You basically implied I'm meeting up with Jared for anything other than this assignment and whats that supposed to mean?"

"Who is it?" He asked her, turning to look at her. "Can you tell me?"

Charlotte looked at him then shook her head, "Nah, you'd laugh," she smiled a little then nudged him.

He shrugged, "I don't know just never heard of an assignment that takes two weeks is all, maybe you like being around him more than being with me," he murmured.

"Are you serious?" She asked him, crossing her arms. "I told you weeks ago that it was a final project, and worth 40% of my grade. Forgive me for not half assing it, and wanting to do well. And damn Professor Samuels for assigning me to him to work with, should have been someone you wouldnt be threatened by." She said angrily.

He raised his eyebrows. "It's not Jonghyun is it," He said, shaking his head. "He's weird!"

She let out a snort, "Gross, no way," she said shaking her head then shoving him, "Don't burn my food," she teased him, "But no - it.. is someone you know though," giving him just a little to go on ; maybe she'd tell him one day.

He laughed a little then nodded a little, "alright," he murmured, "I'm not arguing anymore, you want chinese right?" he asked as he went to the menu drawer.

"No," She said, shaking his head. "I'm not going to sit here because I know you think that I like Jared more than you," She said to him. "Eat what you want, I'm not dealing with that."

He chewed on his lip. "Alright I'll give you a hint for me too. It's someone you know, pretty well too." He murmured.

"Dealing with what? We're not dealing with anything apparently," he said to her as he flipped through the menu.

She smiled a little then nodded, "I have no idea who you like cause I know like... four people pretty well," she said to him then snorted, "Do YOU have a crush on Jonghyun, I mean I don't judge but he is like really weird,"

"You're right, we aren't. You'd rather order chinese food, and ignore the fact that you've admitted you don't trust me anymore." She said to him.

"No," He snorted, shaking his head. "I do like women thanks," He glared at her. "Besides, hes not my type at all."

"I do trust you, but we don't see each other anymore surely you're going to find comfort somewhere else; it's happened to me before," he said to her shrugging as he looked at her.

She smiled a little as she looked at him, "Well I'll keep thinking on it, but jf I told the guy I liked him it could potentially ruin a friendship," she said lightly.

"And you think after everything I went through with you, that I would be so willing to cheat on you? I'm not like her, I thought you knew that," She said softly.

"But if you'll regret it later, maybe it's better to say. Though i'm not too willing to follow my own advice." He admitted.

"They're call insecurities for a reason," he murmured shrugging a little as he wet his lips then sigh as he rubbed his face.

She wrapped her arms around his waist, "Well then we're at an impass," she murmured softly.

"Well I love you and I thought you'd be secure in that," She said softly.

"I guess so," He sighed as he looked at her. "Maybe I'll tell her one day."

"Hey you," she smiled as she looked into the screen, "You look super tired, are you sleeping good?" she asked him as she fixed her hair into a bun.

Hoseok opened the door shocked to see Kihyun, "Uh hey whats up?" he said furrowing his brow," You look rough dude,"

Kihyun rolled his eyes jokingly. "Thanks," He said to him. "Can I come in? Rayan called, she wants to talk."

He groaned, shaking his head. "Im exhausted and I hate French, I can't speak it no matter how hard I try."

She laughed a little,"Aw, well I'm sure you'll pick it up eventually you're a quick study, I saw your run way last week, you looked good even if some of those outfits were... horrendous ," she laughed.

He laughed a little then nodded,"Yeah she's in the in the study, want a beer or something?" he asked as he let him in.
