Never Letting Go

She jumped, "Oh, you scared me," she said as she looked at her laughing a little, "My mom, and yeah we can talk if you want to," she spoke lightly with a small smile. "I have no idea where Kihyun is though, he is like a ghost sometimes - comes out of no where," she admitted as she looked down at the paper. "B minus, Mr. Schrodginger is such a hard ass," she whined.

"Yeah, I know where Kihyun is. He's in the library looking for me, its where I normally am. It's why I'm not there right now." She smiled a little, but her expression was serious. "You know why I'm here, I take it. We should talk about Kihyun," She said, looking down the hall and shuffling out of the way of passing students. "But we should probably move away from here, he probably likes to hang around you, and I don't want him to see me on my own. It's hard as it is, avoiding him like this." She explained, looking at her expectantly.

"Yeah of course," she smiled a little as she looked at her, "This is my free period I usually use it for studying in the library but we can go off campus if you want?" she said as she looked at her ,"I'm sorry about him, I... he is so persistent," Charlotte couldn't imagine how tiring it was trying to avoid him like she was. Especially when her boyfriend had opposite classes than her, "I know a place he won't look, this is a small cafe just up the road that I'm not too fond of but they have good milk shakes,"

"His persistence isn't a bad thing," She said with a small shrug. "It's just misguided," She said, before turning. "Milkshakes sound amazing right now, so that's great. I can...follow you there?" She asked, looking down the hall. "It's my lunch, so I have time now." She said. "So why is your mom going to kill you?"

She nodded a little, "I could give you a ride, if he sees your car here he won't suspect you're with me," she offered as she looked at her with a small smile, "But I got a B minus on this quiz and, she told me to get an A and I didn't," she murmured as she carried her backpack, "It's going to be chaos when she gets home from Taiwan, " she murmured lightly then let out a deep breath.

"Your parents must be really strict then," She said absentmindedly, her eyes scanning the students around them as they walked, trying to make sure she didn't see Kihyun. Being with Wonho made it easier to avoid him, and Wonho liked being there when Kihyun was around for his own reasons. "Chaos for a B-? Seems a bit harsh. Anything you can do to raise it?" She asked as they walked out of the backdoors.

She nodded,"I'm going to talk to him about it after school to see if I can do some extra credit or something; anything to lift my grade up a bit," she said to her sighing a little as she walked to her car, "I'm nervous about it though, it'll be alright," she laughed a little. "My mom is just a hardass cause she is the breadwinner in the house, my step dad stays home takes care of me and the twins,"

"Ah, I see," She said, pushing her hair back and sighing. "I'm sure he'll give it to you, if your mother is like that for a quiz, your grades must be high. It would be kind of ridiculous for him to give you a hard time when you're doing well in the class already," She said chewing on her lip before pulling out lip balm. She had a bad habit of biting her lips and drying them out, so she carried lip balm nearly everywhere.

"Just hope in, I just had the car cleaned so there shouldn't be any of the twins toys in here," she laughed a little, "I took them to the zoo this weekend, so their dad could have a day off." she said smiling then started the car. "Alright milkshakes we go,"

She opened the car door, getting in and closing the door. She wasn't sure how she felt about her, so she knew it would be an interesting car ride. "So... can I ask you something?" She asked, looking out of the window so she didn't feel like all eyes were on her. "How long have you liked Kihyun?" She asked curiously.

She pulled out of the parking lot then stopped the car at the red lightly and looked at her when she spoke then closed her eyes, "Uh, I don't know what you're talking about," she said laughing a little as she looked at her then began to drive off once the light turned green.

Rayan laughed a little and sighed. "Yes you do, and if you don't that means you're not even aware that you like him." She said as she spoke to her. "Don't misunderstand, I don't want him anymore. But you do. And I want to clarify that before I say anything else."

She chewed on her bottom lip then sighed ,"am I obvious?" she whined a little, "I've been hiding it for.. three years? and this year, god it was so hard ignoring it, I'm in love with him - I've always like him in that way just... guys wanted to date me then, now they avoid me like the plague," she said to him as she pulled into the parking lot, "why is he like this?"

"You're very obvious," She nodded. "To everyone but him, it seems." She said, shaking her head. "But I wanted to clear things up with you, I know that being in the situation we're in, things could get a bit... messy." She explained, unbuckling her seatbelt and climbing out of the car. "Why is he like this? Like you said, he's persistent. Which, again, isn't exactly a bad thing." She said as she walked. "Sorry, by the way, for putting you on the spot. It was necessary, I needed you to admit you liked him, otherwise it would be harder to know your feelings. But since I did, if you have anything to ask me, I'll answer it as best I can."

"He's trying to hook me up with some of his friends for prom, save me," she said to her softly with a pleading face, "They're all gross and weird," she said shaking her head a little, "I don't even know why he is friends with them, but either way it's fine I just.. I've never spoken to anyone about it before; feels nice to get it off my chest," she said as she climbed out of the car then walked with her into the diner.

"I can set you up with one of my guy friends if you want, none of them are assholes, I can promise you that," She said, walking inside and sitting at a table by the window. "I have quite a few guy friends to be honest, if you know any of them, I can tell you if they've got dates or not," She smiled a little, looking at a menu. "But I'm here to tell you that I don't want him back, and I don't want to get in the way of you getting him. But you telling him that would go over horribly. So I don't think you should."

"What am I supposed to do? I can't tell him I like him, I can't tell him that liking you is hopeless and stupid - he won't listen to me about anything; what am I here for?" she said to her as they took a seat then sighed as she crossed her legs, "I don't know many of the people in our year to be honest, I study a lot - maybe you could just set me up with someone? This way I don't go to prom alone, and if he's cute maybe I'll enjoy myself," she murmured.

"I can set you up with someone, don't worry about that," She shrugged, waving that off and pushing the menu to the side. "He'll be goodlooking, and funny- you'll have a good time. But I wanted to make sure you and I knew where the other stood with Kihyun. I... really don't know how you can tell him, if we're being honest. And I don't know how to tell him to stop liking me. He knows he can get to me... and that's the problem. But I'm dating Wonho, and I don't plan on changing that any time soon. I was actually hoping you would have ideas."

Charlotte thought about it, "Have you considered marriage?" she said seriously and joking at the same time as she smiled, "If you marry Wonho, he'll surely give up then,"

She nodded seriously. "I've considered it, but we are in high school, and I can't put that kind of pressure on him," She said softly. "However it is done though, I want to help. I want to help you get with Kihyun, if that means he'll leave me be. He hurt me once, I don't need it again." She said before hesitating. "Are you...sure you want him though? I mean... I have other friends," She said with a shrug. "I just know how he can be, and I don't want you to go through it if you aren't sure about your feelings for him."
