Just Once

He jumped a little and waved with a small smile then looked to the head of the table, "Im guessing I don't need to tell you two that this dinner is being held so we can figure out where everyone is," he said as he looked at them ,"So before dinner is serves we'll talk about what we came here for. You were both irresponsible," he stated and Kate kept her mouth shut - he wasn't wrong.

"To prevent a scandal, I'm going to ask several questions. " he looked to Jaebum, "Are you going to be involved? Jinyoung and Jackson informed me she said you could not be involved but if thats the case none of them can be; because eventually people would find out,"

Kate felt her resolve breaking but put her strong face on not wanting to lose all the friends she had made; she didn't know if she could take it.

He looked a little hurt that JB's decision could effect all of their relationship with Kate, but it mostly hurt to know he'd never get to meet the baby or keep seeing Ava; he really liked her.

"Excuse me," Avalon said, looking around. She didn't understand immediately until she saw the looks on Yugyeom and Kate's face. "I don't speak Korean, so I can't understand everything. But why should the others decisions be affected by his? He was irresponsible, just as much as Kate was. It's going to come out eventually, why do the others need to remove themselves if it's only a matter of time?" She asked.

"Because I don't want my choice to affect Got7, and this is the only way to do it," JB said after it was explained to him. "We have a successful career and I want to keep it that way. This will ruin it, and I wont let the others suffer by my choice." He said to her.

"Then why am I here?" she asked as she looked at him then at their boss, "He's made his decision for everyone; including me. My lawyer will call your lawyer," she said and closed her eyes then took a deep breath before opening them again. "We'll have the non disclosure agreements sent in first thing in the morning," she said as she looked at him then to the others and ffelt her resolve break as sh wiped the tears out of her eyes.

"Thats not fair to us, Jaebum and you know it," Jinyoung said shaking his head.
"If he gives this up then I say we pick a new leader, someone who can stand up to face the consequences of their actions," Jackson stated as he looked at JYP.
