Something Changed

He smiled a little and nodded, pulling out his phone and putting his arm around her. He called and ordered, paying for it with his card and turning to her. "That looks great, it's not too late so we can watch several ones."

She nodded a little and followed him out of the house and to her car. "I don't want to wash it off, it's so pretty," She murmured as she looked down at her arm. "You should paint me something that I can hang on my wall, I would like that a lot."

She leaned into him and smiled when whimsy wiggled from his arms and went to her food dish, she laid her head on his chest then sighed a little. There were so many thoughts running through her head at that moment, she looked at him then leaned up pressing her forehead against his before gently brushing her lips over his.

He smiled a little,"Maybe I will," he said as he looked at her as they walked to her car, "What would you like me to paint?"

"Whatever you want, I like when you use galaxy colors though," She smiled a little. "I don't think you'd paint anything I didn't like and if you did I would demand another until its perfect." She grinned a little, driving toward the theater.

He smiled a little and leaned against her, cupping her face and sighing. He kissed her gently, stroking her face. He had been dying to do it but he didn't want to rush anything so he waited.

She smiled against his lips and placed her hands on his neck as she kissed him back, her heart was pounding in her chest and she'd never felt this way about anyone before. When she pulled back she smiled a little then pecked his lips chastely a couple of times.

He smiled a little as he looked at her, "Well I'll do my best to paint something you like then," he said to her grinning a little.

"I'm sure you'll do just fine," She smiled a little as she pulled into the theater. She parked and climbed out of the car. She walked over to the counter and pulled out her wallet, asking for the action movie he wanted to see. "Want popcorn too?"

He held her waist and pulled her closer, pulling her so she was nearly on his lap. He kissed her face, smiling a bit at her. He brushed Her hair out of her face and smiled a little. "I really like you," he said softly.

Hayden smiled a little as she looked at him,"I really like you too," she murmured gently as she stroked his cheek affectionately and kissed him again.

He swatted her hand away then pulled out them oney to pay for the tickets, "I got it," he said to her smiling.

She looked at him and made a face. "But I have to buy," She said to him. "You're doing me the favor by staying with me, it's the least I can do is buy."

He smiled a little and wrapped his arm around her. He was content, he would be happy if she decided she wanted to stay but he'd never bring it up himself, he just loved spending time with her.

She buried her face into his neck and closed her eyes, "You make me feel so safe," she whispered into his skin.

He shook his head,"No," he said as he paid for the tickets, "Let me buy things for a chance, I do have money you know," he teased her.

"I know you do but I don't mind," She said to him. "I'll buy stuff, I mean it's the least I can do, I'll buy popcorn and drinks," She smiled a little. "You wouldn't be here if I didn't ask, it's something I don't mind doing."

He smiled a little and rubbed her back. "You make me happy," He said softly. "Most people think I'm too shy, it makes me happy to be with you."

"You make me so happy too," she murmured softly as she lifted her head from his neck then looked at him stroking his face,"Do you think you'd be cool with having lunch with my sister and her husband tomorrow?" she asked gently, they'd been dating for about a month now so she felt like it would be okay. There was no pressure, her sister was really laid back.

He shrugged a little,"Somethhings gotta give, let me pay," he said to her laughing a little, "You've paid for so much, let me," he said to her.

He nodded a little. "Sure, what time? I have work in the morning but I'll be done around 2, is that too late?" He asked her, brushing her hair out of her face.

She sighed a little. She knew the more she paid the more time he would want to spend with her, if she paid all he would have to do was just come and she liked him being there often.

She shook her head,"Nope, we were going to meet a three thirty," she said to him, "But I can push for a dinner instead if you want?"she asked him lightly as she leaned into his hand gently.

He paid for the popcorn and drinks then looked at her,"Alright, lets go," he said to her smiling a little as he looked at her.

She chewed on her lip and followed behind him. "Can I at least buy dinner?" She asked him as they made their way into the theater.

He nodded a little. "That would be easier, what time? 7:30?" He asked her. "I'll plan to be home to change and then I'll come pick you up?"

She nodded a little,"I'll call her tomorrow morning to reschedule," she said to him smiling a little, "That sounds good to me, I'll find somewhere decent to eat - it's been a while since I've seen her she's been so busy with the kids,"

"Can't I treat you for once?" he asked as he looked at her as they walked towards the seats.

She shook her head at him and sighed. "No," She said softly. "It's the least I can do, you're doing me a favor by spending time with me. I asked you to, so the least I can do is buy for you." She said as they sat down in the theater.

"How old are her kids?" He asked her curiously. "My niece would love new friends if they were around her age."

"We've been hanging out for a month, I don't think you can even use that excuse anymore," he said to her laughing a little,"Besides if I didn't want to be here I wouldn't be,"

"They're four and five actually," she said as she looked at him smiling a little, "They're really cute and playful,"

"You said you won't say no to free food," She said to him. "If I buy, you won't say no. You could get tired of me and I really don't mind. I'll buy us dinner tonight," She said. "Please?"

"That's perfect, if your sister doesn't mind, my niece would love that. She's an only child and they're just around her age." He smiled a bit.

"Fine," he sighed a little as he shrugged," whatever you want," he said to her as he picked a seat and sat down.

She smiled a little,"Yeah we can set up a playdate then," she said to him as she shifted so she was more comfortable in his lap, "It's getting late but I don't want you to leave," she murmured as Whimsy laid in her bed in her cage yawning.

She chewed on her lip and turned to the screen, not wanting to press it anymore. She sat down next to him and sighed, hoping she wasn't bothering him. She really liked the time she spent with him, she didn't want it to end.

He coughed his ears turning red. "Would you rather I stayed over?" He asked her, his eyes on the screen instead of her.

She smiled a little and cupped his face in her hands and looked into his eyes, "Do you want to stay over?" she asked him softly as she looked at him with a sly smile on her face, "I wouldn't mind if you did," if she was being completely honest she really wanted to cuddle him while she slept.
