Something Changed

She nodded a little and took out her phone, sliding it across the table. "Put your number in, I'll text you," She said as she ate more of her pizza.

He nodded a little and smiled, before picking up his niece And grabbing her backpack. "See you then."

That night she got dressed in something semi casual and fixed her hair up a little then sighed as she texted him to let him know she would be on her way soon, she grabbed a bottle of wine from her stash and grabbed her purse as she walked out the door. She thought about it a lot when he left, the whole situation wasn't something she ever expected to happen.

He smiled a little and opened the door when she arrived. "Hi, come in." He smiled. "I'm glad you came," He said, slightly flustered.

She had changed into darker clothes and parked across the street, before walking to where he said to meet him. She checked the time and sighed, looking around. This was new to her she had never done anything like this before.

She smiled a little,"I brought wine if you wanted some," she said holding up the bottle as she looked at him then laughed a little when she saw how flustered he was. "Do you need help with anything?"

He sighed as he stood there, this was stupid - he didn't know why she wanted to come so bad ; she could get into really big trouble.

She saw him over by the wall and walked over. "Hey, so where are we going?" She asked quietly, putting her phone away.

"Uh no, I just didn't expect this to happen tonight," He laughed a little. "But it's okay, it's been a while I got to sit and talk to someone," Je smiled a little.

She smiled a little as she looked at him, "Well, I have two hands if you need the, feel free to put me to work," she said to him as she looked at him for a moment, "You look handsome," she murmured as she fixed the collar on his shirt,"

He looked at her then shrugged,"Somewhere secluded,"he said to her as he nodded his head towards a dark alley, "This is where I do my trial work,"

She nodded a little as she followed him. "You come here often?" She grinned, looking at the art on the walls. "You did this? It's really nice," She said thoughtfully.

His ears turned red and he smiled a little. "Thank you," He said softly. "You could help with the spaghetti if you don't mind, I was just setting the table."

She smiled a little then nodded, "Alright," she said to him as she looked to see what needed to be done, "Do you like your wine chilled?" she asked him curiously.

He nodded,"Most of these are mine - sometimes I'll come and paint it all white to start over," he said to her as he looked at the wall then pulled out his head lamp and pulled out a can of paint.

She nodded a little as she watched him then looked to see if she heard any cars coming. "You know you give off dangerous vibes but I don't think you're very dangerous at all," She said thoughtfully.

He nodded. "Sure, you can toss it in the icebox for a bit," He said, moving around the table. "Do you like garlic bread?"

She did as he said and nodded,"Yeah I do actually, it's my favorite," she told him as she peeked into the oven, "It smells good," she admitted as she looked at him.

He looked at her, "I am dangerous though," he murmured,"Your future could be ruined for beng here with me,"

She laughed a little. "My future? My future has been set since the day I was born," She murmured. "Everything has been planned out for me, and I'm tired of it. You're different though, and I like that. Ive never done any of this before but I think you're more scared of me than I am of you."

He smiled a little as he moved around the kitchen. "I'm sorry about my niece she can be a bit much sometimes but she means well," He said softly. "I make great spaghetti," He smiled. "It's her favorite."

She laughed,"Shes sweet and very smart - she knows what she is doing," she said to him with a laugh as she looked into his eyes, "Can I ask why you asked me out? I'm nothing special,"

He shrugged,"You can do whatever you want, like I want to tag walls don't live someone elses life," he told her.

"If it's so dangerous why do you do it? If my future could be ruined, couldn't yours be ruined too?" She asked him.

He looked at her for a second and smiled sheepishly. "You're very pretty," He admitted. "And she sort of opened the door, so I figured why not?"

She flushed a little and nodded a bit,"She did have the idea," she said to him lightly then laughed a bit. "I hope I don't make you regret it - I'm painfully awkward,"

"Mine was ruined the day I was born, he shrugged, "every thing is on meeven with loans I wont have enough for schoool,"

"I mean you aren't your circumstances, even with your record you could still get scholarships if you wanted to, by what I'm seeing you could be a great artist, you're really really talented." She murmured. "I mean look, all of this that you did in comparison to what you didn't? It's beautiful, and whoever did the other stuff it looks awful next to yours."

"Me too," He smiled a little. "That might make things easier, we can both be awkward," He laughed.

He shrugged a little as he shook the can then pulled out a mask for her so she didn't inhale anything, "Stand back," he said to her lightly then put his own respirator on and began to get the work, "I guess , can't afford canvas or a wall to work on,"

She smiled a little,"Then that sounds fair," she said to him laughing a little as she moved to take the bread out of the oven setting it on the counter

He went over to get glasses so they could have something to drink, trying not to bump into her. His face was bright red and he was trying not to embarrass himself he didn't expect this to happen today. "I hope you're hungry, I made a lot."

"I have extra canvas at my house, after this, if we have to run we can run to my house and you can paint there," She suggested, leaning against the opposite wall. She pulled on the mask and adjusted her hair, watching him and looking to see if she saw any cars nearby.

She smiled, "I'm starved actually I had to skip lunch to help another teacher with her students, they're a bit more rowdy than mine," she admitted as she looked at him, "So what do you do for a living?" she asked him curiously as she wet her lips.

He nodded a little then continued to paint - most of the time he didn't really know what he was going for but he really enjoyed just letting the image come to him.

She watched him and chewed on her lip, looking around down the ally. She moved down the wall, looking st the other paintings and watching him. He was incredibly talented, and she hadn't ever seen anything like what he did before.

"I work at a Gym. I'm a personal trainer," He smiled a little. "I really enjoy it, it's something that I could do for as long as I'm physically able."

She nodded a little and smiled as she set the food out to the table. Hayden wasn't blind he was obviously good at his job, "Its really good to enjoy your work, because then you can enjoy everything else in life too dreading work isn't good,"
